As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number #13 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - (Melissa Stout at The Stamp Doc). If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.
I always seem to be short on masculine birthday cards, so I decided to use the beautiful new High Tide stamp set and create a card for my father-in-law's upcoming birthday. I absolutely LOVE the lighthouse image in this set...it is amazing!
I created the plank background by inking up some watercolor paper with Soft Suede ink then running it through the Big Shot in the Woodgrain embossing folder while it was still a bit damp.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Night of Navy, Whisper White, Watercolor Paper
Ink ~ Basic Black, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, VersaMark
Stamp Sets ~ High Tide, B.Y.O.P
Other Supplies ~ Night of Navy Bakers Twine, Woodgrain Embossing Folder
Next up on the hop is Tonya at Stampin' With Tonya.
Be sure to hop your way through all of the stops! You won't want to miss one single birthday creation!
Happy Stamping!
