Lovin' What I Do ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

Who is excited for the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog?!?!  I can not wait to share it with all of my stampin' friends in a few weeks! Thankfully, Stampin' Up! has decided, once again, to give us all a little sneak peek at some of the amazing products that fill the pages of the new catalog.  The Share What You Love Suite has so many beautiful new items in it and you are able to purchase these items beginning May 1st.

I am sharing a couple of cards made with this fancy new suite. The Share What You Love DSP is GORGEOUS!!! So many beautiful colors!  And it's a big pack, so you have a TON to work with.  I have shared several projects already featuring the Love What You Do stamp set, but I was so happy to use it even more!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Rich Razzleberry, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Share What You Love DSP, Vellum
Ink ~ Tuxedo Black Memento, Grapefruit Grove, Rich Razzleberry
Stamp Set ~ Love What You Do
Other Supplies ~ Lovely Floral Textured Embossing Folder, Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, Pearlized Doilies, Share What You Love Embellishment Kit, Stitched Shapes Framelits,  Layering Ovals Framelits,

Confession...I'm pretty sure I have never used Very Vanilla and Whisper White together on any creation I've made.  Is anyone else with me on this or am I the only one?!?!  After seeing both colors used together in this beautiful DSP, I'm opening up to the idea and kind of loving these two neutrals together.  This is why I love what I do!  Always something new coming my way that makes my creative heart happy.

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Life is a Beautiful Thing

Hello stampers!  Happy Thursday to all of you.  We are one day closer to the weekend...yippee!!!  We are off to another baseball tournament this weekend, so it will be a busy one for us, but I've got my Paper Pumpkin kits packed up so I can create in between games!
My stamping time has been pretty limited this week with work, baseball practice/games and just life.  Sometimes I go crazy being this busy, but I know when my boys are grown and out of the house, I will miss all of it so much, so I do my best to embrace all of the chaos.
I did make some time to make a card for my dear Godmother who lost her beautiful sister to cancer last weekend.  I always struggle with sympathy cards, but as I was scanning through my stamp sets, this sentiment in the Colorful Seasons stamp set jumped out and me.  Life truly is a beautiful thing and you can never take one moment for granted.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Pink Pirouette, Velum, Petal Passion DSP
Ink ~ Calypso Coral, Tuxedo Black Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Pink Pirouette
Stamp Sets ~ Colorful Seasons, Petal Palette, Love What You Do
Other Supplies ~ Layering Ovals Framelits, Petals & More Thinlits, Iridescent Sequins

I am going to be sad when my package of the Petal Passion DSP is all gone...I love this beautiful paper!  And Pink Pirouette...I'm sad it's leaving, but I know there is a new pink coming that is so pretty!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have a fabulous day!

Happy Stamping!

If you are still dealing with cold and dreary skies, we have an inspiring challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments to brighten up your day!  Just look at all of these fun images!

I was drawn to the basket of strawberries AND the fun pineapple and citrus image.  Since I couldn't decide which one I like the best, I used the inspiration for two cards!
I am so HAPPY that the Apron of Love stamp set and framelits are carrying over to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  I just recently purchased this bundle and it is super cute!  I love the fun fonts for all of the sentiments...this set is perfect for any occasion!  I wish the Tutti Frutti DSP was also carrying over, but there are some amazing new designs coming our way, so I can't complain!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Night of Navy, Real Red, Garden Green, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Tutti Frutti DSP, Wood Textures DSP, Silver Foil DSP
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Real Red, Garden Green, Pool Party
Stamp Set ~ Apron of Love
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, Apron Builder Framelits, Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder

Aren't the little kitchen tools so cute?!?!  I love them ALL!

#tgifc156- Because Kindness Matters

Happy Friday stampers!  It's Friday and that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges!  This week we are sharing some Random Acts of Kindness ideas with you.  Isn't it a great feeling when someone is kind to you?!?   It's an even better feeling when you share kindness with others!

As I drop my boys off at school each day, I tell them that I love them and ask them to do something kind.  It's fun to have them share their acts of kindness when they get home from school...makes my heart happy!

My twins and many of their friends have discovered a love for Starbucks this school year.  It is a big treat for them to walk downtown to get their favorite drink and spend time hanging out in the coffee shop.  I thought it would be fun for my boys to find a couple of people at school who looked like they could use a little friendly pick-me-up, so I sent them to school this morning with these fun gift card holders, inspired by the amazing Erica Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs.  They LOVED this idea and could not wait to get to school and find some classmates to hand them out to.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Coffee Break DSP
Ink ~ Garden Green, Early Espresso
Stamp Set ~ Coffee Cafe
Other Supplies ~ Coffee Cups Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Copper Trim

I am so happy to see that this stamp set and framelits are carrying over to the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog!  And there is a VERY good chance that I ordered a couple packs of this DSP to hoard!

What will you do that is kind today?!?!

Have a fabulous Friday!

Happy Stamping!

Garden Impressions ~ OnStage Las Vegas Display Samples

Good morning stamping friends!  The sun is shining hereand my heart is happy!  We have not had the snow like so many others have, but we have had our fair share of cold winds and rain the past few weeks.  I am beyond ready for warm, sun-shiny days!

Speaking of sun-shiny days, the new Garden Impressions DSP featured in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog is like a packet full of sunshine!  I love all of the bright, flowery colors and was so happy to have the chance to play with this paper while making my OnStage display samples.  I have the last of my projects to share with you today, mainly featuring the beautiful Garden Impressions DSP and Love What you Do stamp set.
I am so happy to see So Saffron used in this DSP!  It is a color I love, but dont use very often.  Mixed with the blues, greens and shades of pink, it's the perfect pop of color!

My next card is super simple, but one of my favorites.  I used the lareg watercolor background stamp from Love What You Do in Soft Sky, which I am super sad to see leave.  I stamped the floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black, then stamped the image again on a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut just the flowers off after coloring them with my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.  A simple sentiment, which is my all time favorite, and a few sequins and this card is done!

My last project is a pretty scrapbook page with my friends little cutie.  Being the mom of 3 boys, I needed a girl to borrow and this one couldn't be any cuter!  In addition to the Garden Impressions DSP, I created some flowers using the new Four-Petal Flower Punch and added some Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems to the centers.  With a bit of ribbon, a doily and a fun title, the DSP really makes the page so pretty!

Thank you for visiting my blog these past couple of weeks!  It was a lot of fun to create these display samples and I hope they were inspiring and have you excited for what is coming in the new 2018-2019 Annual catalog!

Now I can finally dig into my pre-order box and have some fun with MORE new stamps, paper and ink.  Stay tuned for more projects coming your way!

Happy Stamping!

Springtime Impressions ~ OnStage Las Vegas Display Samples

Happy Wednesday stampers!  I'm back with a couple more display samples from OnStage.  I had hoped to post yesterday, but baseball took over.  That's the story of my life right now, but I love every minute of it!

Today I am featuring the Springtime Impressions Thinlits.  I absolutely LOVE these!  The butterfly and the flowers are so delicate and beautiful!

For my first card, I cut a butterfly out of vellum and stamped a few Berry Burst spots using the watercolor stamps from the Love What You Do stamp set.  I added a splash of Lemon Lime Twist in the background, a few layers of color with cardstock and a simple sentiment.  Just like that, a quick AND beautiful card!
My second card is even more simple!  I used the corner flower thinlits over an embossed piece of basic black cardstock with the Simple Stripes EF for an easy and elegant card.  I am so happy Petal Palette stamp set is carrying over!  The sentiments are perfect for so many different occasions.

I still have a few more OnStage display samples to share, so be sure to check back later this week!

Happy Stamping!

Lucky to Have a Friend Like You ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Ours was FULL of baseball.  I need another day off just to sleep...I don't think I've caught up on rest since before I headed to Las Vegas for OnStage last weekend!  But I love baseball season and wouldn't change our crazy times for anything!

I am sharing a couple more of my OnStage display samples with you today.  These are probably two of my favorite samples.

First up is a card, which was also one of my swaps.  I used the beautiful Springtime Impressions Thinlits to create my background.  Rather than cutting the image out, I used it to emboss the cardstock.  Guess what?!?  There is an amazing new Embossing Mat coming in the new 2018-2019 Annual catalog that will make this technique SO easy.  I can't wait!   I added a bit of the gorgeous Garden Impressions DSP, some bits of gold and a perfect sentiment from the Love What You Do Stamp set.  The perfect card for to share with so many amazing stampin' friends!

If you follow my blog, you will know that I LOVE to make banners to hang up on my fireplace or at my desk at work.  When I got the pack of Garden Impressions DSP in my display stamper box, I knew right away I would be making a banner with it!  I used the Springtime Impressions Thinlits again to create a pretty floral overlay as well as the beautiful butterfly.  This suite is amazing and one that you will want to be adding to your collection!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Garden Impressions, Whisper White, Gold Foil
Ink ~ Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral
Stamp Set ~ Love What You Do
Other Supplies ~ Garden Impressions Thinlits, Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Metallic Doilies, Gold Mini Sequin Trim, Leaf Punch, Layering Circles Framelits, Banner Triple Punch

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks you for stopping by today!

Lined Alphabet Celebration ~ OnStage Las Vegas Display Samples

Happy Friday stampers!  I'm back again with a couple more OnStage Display samples to celebrate Friday!

If you follow my blog, you'll probably notice this mini treat bag is a CASE of a card I made a couple weeks ago. I am really going to miss the Tutti Frutti DSP after the Occasions Catalog is done.  It's so bright and colorful!

I used the Celebrate You Thinlins and the amazing Lined Alphabet stamp set, which will be available in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  There are some AWESOME framelits that coordinate with this set as well that I can not WAIT to get!  Be prepared to be amazed by how cool they are!

My second project is a festive little birthday card.  I used the Picture Perfect Party DSP, along with some Tutti Frutti sequins and a little bit of Lemon Lime Twist Ruffled Ribbon, which you will see in the upcoming Annual Catalog.  The sentiment was made with the Lined Alphabet and Labeler Alphabet sets.  I added a few polka dots of color inside the  the letters to brighten them up.

We have a weekend FULL of baseball, but be sure to check back on Monday for more samples!  I wish I was going to be home this weekend to play with my new box of pre-order fun, but I do love me some baseball!  Maybe I'll throw together a quick kit to put together in between games :-)

Have a great weekend!

Sitting Pretty ~ OnStage Las Vegas Display Samples

Welcome back stampin' friends!  I'm sharing a few more OnStage display samples featuring two new sets coming in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Today's samples feature the Sitting Pretty stamp set as well as the Lined Alphabet stamp set.

I was kind of stumped with the Sitting Pretty stamp set at first, but after my youngest looked at it and got excited about the Berney Bulldog, his school mascot, I just knew I had to do a scrapbook page!  With a little embossing paste, a bit of DSP and some stamping, I had a fun page in a hurry.  The little bulldog was the perfect added touch.  My son has already asked to have this framed so he can hang it in his bedroom :-)
*Disclaimer ~ I can say that he is my favorite Berney Bulldog because he is my only kiddo who has gone to school there!  :-D

Next up are a couple of cute puppy cards.

There are framelits that coordinate with this stamp set that coordinate with the dog, the bench, the plant and a few other stamps.  It also includes another bench and some cobble stone.  I can't wait to get it to complete the bundle!  The "best friend" sentiment comes from the Love What You Do stamp set.  Isn't every puppy your best friend?!?

If you notice, I also used one of the new Basic Brads on the card with the heart.  The colors included are Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Night of Navy and Whisper White colors.  I'm pretty excited to have brads again to embellish cards!

After inking up this stamp set and seeing so many other cute samples, I am not nearly as stumped as I was when I first saw it.  That little bulldog is just too cute!

One of the best things about being a Display Stamper is having to really think outside the box and be creative.  I need to remind my self of this every day when I'm stamping...it will lead to many more fun creations!

Thanks for stopping by again today!  I still have more samples to share, so be sure to check back soon!

Happy Stamping!

Fabulous Friend and Lovin' What I Do ~ OnStage Las Vegas Display Sample

I had the honor of being an OnStage Display Stamper in Las Vegas last weekend.  I will admit, when I first opened my box, I had NO CLUE what I was going to do with the box of supplies.  I kind of freaked out a bit, but after letting the box sit in my office and putting together a few sketches, I was finally able to get going with my samples.

The first sample I am sharing with you features the new Garden Impressions DSP, the super cute Blossoms Elements embellishments and beautiful Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon.

I made another sample using a different pattern from the same DSP, the same cute Blossoms Elements embellishments and the Petal Pink AND Shaded Spruce Metallic Ribbon.  I used the Love What You Do stamp set for the sentiment...kind of fitting name since I really do love what I do!  I also used the beautiful butterfly from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits.  Be sure to check back later this week for more with these thinlits...they are GORGEOUS!  This card was also very similar to one that I used for my shoebox swaps at the amazing after party we attended after OnStage.
I am so blessed to have been able to spend my time at Onstage with my Stampin' BFF, Wendy!  It's always a fun time when we are together...even in a place as crazy as Las Vegas!  I hope we can spend more time together in Orlando in November!
I'll be sharing more samples over the next few days or so.  Be sure to stop back by for your own sneak peek at what's to come in the AMAZING 2018-2019 Annual Catalog!  You're gonna love it all!

Happy Stamping!

While I do have some new stuff just waiting to be inked up, I'm still giving some love to some older sets.  This weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge inspired me to create a cheerful little card for a friend.

Wood Words has been my go to stamp set lately.  I love the geometrical images and the sentiments!

Fresly Made Celebration

Happy Monday stamping friends!!!

I have been so wrapped up in creating for OnStage and have not had much time for much else.  But...thank you to my new job, which I LOVE, I have spring break off for the first time EVER since having kiddos :-)  So that means I have lots of extra time...until Thursday morning when I fly out to Las Vegas for OnStage!!!

What better way to kick off my week than playing along with this fun sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
Not only was I inspired by this sketch, but also by the amazing Krista Frattin.  I love her style!  Why have I not used more of the Tutti Frutti DSP?!?!  The colors are so bright and colorful! And it includes my FAVORITE color...Lemon Lime Twist!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Lemon Lime Twist, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Pool Party, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Tutti Frutti DSP
Other Supplies ~ Starburst Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Mini Treatbag Thinlits, Celebrate You Thinlits, Silver Metallic Thread, Metallic Enamel Shapes

Did you notice that no stamps or ink were used on this card?  I love that Stampin' Up has so many great dies and punches that allow you to create without stamps and ink!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope to be sharing a bit more this week since I have some extra time :-)  But I also have a TON of yard work to get done too.  Yard work or stamping...which sounds like more fun?!?!

Farm Fresh Eggs ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

We added 18 new baby chicks to our little farm last week and my youngest is SO, SO HAPPY to have chickens again.  They are all so cute and fluffy!  We lost most of our chickens last fall to a mean ol' fox so its great to have a full hen house again!

We try to handle our chickens as much as possible to help keep them tame and happy.  Owen checks on them several times a day and takes turning holding as many of them as he possibly can.  I captured this cute picture of him with one of the chicks on the day they came home and just knew I had to create a page with it!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Wood Textures DSP
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake
Stamp Sets ~ Wood Words, Wherever You Go
Other Supplies ~ Large Letters Framelits, Burlap Ribbon, Linen Thread, Starburst Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Hexagons Textured Embossing Folder

Thanks for hopping along with us today!
Happy Stamping!

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

We've added links to all of our home pages as well so you can hop along in any order you'd like!
