Make A Splash

Anyone else have to have ALL of the ocean and beach themed stamp sets?  I know I do, which is why I could not resist the adorable Friendly Fins bundle!  This hammer-head shark and dolphin are the cutest and I love the coral!
I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches sketch to get started on this card.  Using the Silicon Mat, I smeared some Summer Splash ink and spritzed it with some water, then "smooshed" the Stylish Shapes Circle in the ink to create the perfect ocean for these Friendly Fins.  I tucked some of the coral and seaweed behind the circle to go along with the sketch, adding another piece on the bottom half as well.
The So Swirly Embossing Folder added some fun texture, reminding me of the ocean waves.

I can't wait to create more with this super cute bundle!

Attention Shoppers

Attention Shoppers...it's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiment Color Challenge!

These colors were so much fun to use with the adorable new Attention Shoppers bundle!  I filled the shopping cart full of fun items that are perfect for a birthday celebration!

This cute pattern from the Country Lace DSP was perfect to go along with this color combo!  And a simple little Petal Pink bit of ribbon topped with a white bakers twine bow was the cutest final touch.

Best.Friend.Ever

It's time for this weeks TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge.  There are so many inspiring options to choose from...the layout, the colors, the florals, a friendship sentiment...the possibilities are endless!

I went with the layout and the friendship sentiment.  Using the awesome Citrus Blooms leafy boarder die, I created a pretty frame for the bright and cheerful lemons.

A little background texture was adding using the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.  A sweet and simple sentiment from Country Flowers was just right for this weeks challenge.  The sentiment was heat embossed on Night of Navy with a little bit of Mediterranean Blooms DSP peeking out from behind.

A sweet little bakers twine bow and Dots for Days were the perfect finishing touches.

What will you be inspired to create today?

Market Fresh Veggies

Welcome back to another Monday Montage Blog Hop!

I had some fun playing with the To Market suite for today's hop.  I'll admit, at first glance, this was not a suite I thought I would get, but I'm so happy I did! The stamps, the dies, the DSP...it's all so good!

All of veggies in the basket are cut from DSP...many with the coordinating Market Goodness dies. The basket, onion and pepper were the only items that needed to be fussy cut.  I randomly stamped veggies on a Pecan Pie card base and added a pop of Pumpkin Pie from the DSP.  The sentiment was heat embossed on Blackberry Bliss. I love how all of the colors work so well together!

Next up are all of the stamped veggies...I LOVE them!  These were all super easy to stamp, then cut out with the coordinating dies.  The only fussy cutting required was for the adorable tote.  It feels like I'm at our local farmers market!
Have you had the chance to play with this new suite yet?  If you haven't, add it to your collection soon.  You won't regret it!

Country Flowers Sympathy

Happy Tuesday and welcome to an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge.  There are so many beautiful images and colors to inspire you!

Inspired by the pretty florals and colors, I stamped one of the floral images and leaf image from County Flowers.  I colored them in shades of Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam, Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath and Petunia Pop.

If you've followed along with me for a bit, you'll notice that I love white on white...the Eyelet 3D embossing folder was the perfect way to add just a little bit more to the Basic White panel and really makes the florals pop!

The sentiment was heat embossed on Basic Black...another favorite!

This was a fun alternative way to use the Country Flowers stamp set.  The florals and leaves are fun in the pots, but they are just as fun all on their own!

Join in the fun and share what you were inspired by with this challenge.

Mix & Match Celebration

Happy Friday friends and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge!

I am usually one to follow a sketch pretty closely, but I went in a little different direction with this one!  All of the elements of the sketch are still there...do you see them?

I am wrapping up the week with one more Mix & Match card using these cute little critters from the Something for Everything Ephemera Pack.  Don't they just make you happy?

The card base is from the Sunny Springs Cards & Envelope Pack.  The top layer comes from one of the envelopes.  I love how all of these colors coordinate so well!

A sweet and simple sentiment from Simply Said completed the sketch...no embellishments needed!

I hope my creations this week have inspired you to add the Mix & Match products to your crafty collection.  You won't be disappointed!

Around The World On Wednesday Blog Hop May 2024

Welcome to this month's Around The World On Wednesday Blog Hop!  This month we have a variety of projects to share using this fun sketch.

May be a graphic of text
You may have just arrived from seeing the beautiful sketch interpretation from Theresa McEntee of Theresa's Treasures or you may just be starting...either way, be sure to make a stop at each blog along the way!

I absolutely love the new Mix & Match products!  Today I am sharing a project using the Sunny Springs Cards & Envelopes and the Fully Flower and Something for Everything Ephemera Packs. The only extra card stock is the Soft Sea Foam layer and the Basic Black for the sentiment.

I cut the strips from the coordinating envelope for this card base.  I love the softer colors on the outside of the envelope with the bolder colors inside.  They worked so well for this sketch!

The floral images come from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack and the sweet little butterfly is from the Something For Everything Pack. Aren't they beautiful?  There are endless creative possibilities with these products!

Let's keep on hopping and see what Lori Wilcox of Creative Stamping with Lori has to share with us!
