Look Who's Hatched ~ HSSSC#320

Good morning stampers!  I'm running a bit behind in getting my post up today, but I'm excited to share this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #320 with you!
Some of our fire family friends recently had their second baby, a sweet baby boy.  We will be seeing them next week and I wanted to make sure to have a card for them.  The adorable Dinoroar suite was perfect for the occasion.  The cute egg die is just the best for creating new baby cards!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Old Olive, Mango Melody, Whisper White, Dinoroar DSP
Ink ~ Old Olive, Mango Melody, Pretty Peacock
Stamp Set ~ Dino Days
Other Supplies ~ Dino Dies, Dinoroar Enamel Shapes, Denim Ribbon, Everyday Label Punch, Layering Circle Dies

I pulled the denim threads from the ribbon to create the frayed bow...this ribbon is great!

After I got this card put together, I realized the Mango Melody circle looks like the yoke of an egg...not what I had planned, but it all worked out!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a terrific Tuesday!

Happy Stamping!

Birthday MVP

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We have another fabulous hop in store for you this week!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!

My baby is 8 today and I'm still trying to figure out how this is possible!   I feel like I was just bring him home from the hospital!  For any you who know my sweet Owen, you know he is a BUSY kid and ALWAYS on the move.  On any given day, you can find him in our yard playing soccer, hitting baseballs for our dogs to chase or throwing a football around with anyone who will play with him.  My dad found some golf clubs at a yard sale earlier in the summer that fit him perfectly, so he's also picked up on golfing too!  He may exhaust me, but he also keeps me {feeling} young!
With his love for ALL the sports, For the Win was the perfect stamp set to create his birthday card this year!  I had so much fun making a shaker card last week, I wanted to create another one for his special day.  This was so much fun to make!
I rediscovered my love for Pacific Point this week...It's such a bright and cheerful color!  It was just the color this card needed, along with a few other of my favorites from the Brights collection.
I stamped and cut out each of the balls to add to the shaker frame.  I decided these weren't quite enough, so I punched out some stars using the Twinkle Builder and created my own confetti.  Now I just need to figure out what to do with all of the leftover moons!  I finished off the card with the fun Birthday MVP image, along with the pennant and trophy, all which were heat embossed and fussy cut.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Basic Black, Window Sheets
Ink ~ Real Red, Basic Black, Granny Apple Green, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ For the Win
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circleds Dies, Twinkle Builder Punch, Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder.

Next up in hop is my crafty friend Cathy...her creations are always so awesome!  Or if you'd like to take a hop back, you'll find the amazingly talented Amy...I love her style!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

#TGIFC222 Technique Challenge - Shake It Up!

Happy Friday stampers!  We are shaking things up over at TGIF Challenges with Shaker Cards this week!
Shaker cards are so much fun to create!  And they are even more fun to send to someone special!  I created a fun confetti birthday card, making my own confetti with leftover bits from the Broadway Lights Dies.
As I was assembling the card, I started out with just a piece of Whisper White cardstock, but it needed a little bit more dimension.  None of my current Embossing Folders were speaking to me, so I pulled out my embossing plates and created this fun background with one of the dies.  This is such a fun technique and gives you so many more possibilities for embossing!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Window Sheets
Ink ~ Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point
Stamp Set ~ Broadway Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Broadway Lights Dies

I'm so happy this stamp set and coordinating dies carried over...they are so much fun and perfect for creating birthday cards for everyone!

Let's see how you shake things up too!   See how our amazing TGIF Design Team is shaking things up and join along in the fun!

Check You Out

Any fellow bookworms out there?  Who could easily spend an entire day reading a good book?  My days are usually to full of business to spend an entire day reading, but we have our annual Yale Lake trip coming up and I plan on spending a day doing nothing but reading!
The adorable Check You Out stamp set won over my book-loving-heart and was a must have!  The little worm and owl are just too cute and the books are the BEST!
The little bookworm just makes me so happy!  His goofy little grim is too cute!  And the library pocket card...who remembers checking out books this way!  I remember checking out books from my elementary school library with little cards like these.
And isn't this owl such a studious little thing?  Adding the glasses is super easy and fun!  With the photopolymer stamps, it's so easy to line up the images!

Did you notice the fun colors in the Heart Epoxy Droplets and the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets?  I added a bit of color to them using a few different Stampin' Blends colors.  I love the subtle color they add to these amazing little embellishments!

The color possibilities are endless!  Just make sure you are using your Stampin' Blends on the epoxy embellishments.  The Rhinestone Basic Jewels can be a little rough on your pens!

Thanks for stopping by today!  This week isn't looking to be as busy as last week, so I'm hoping to spend a bit more time creating!

Have a fantastic Monday!

Happy Stamping!

#TGIFC221 Inspiration Challenge - Christmas in July!

It's Christmas in July over at TGIF Challenges today!  Some of us may be sweltering away in the heat of July, but we are keeping nice and cool in our craft rooms while we create some fun Christmas cards!
I know that many of us are anxiously awaiting the release of the 2019 Holiday Catalog, but don't forget that there is a great selection of Christmas stamp sets in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  The all new Lots of Cheer stamp set caught my eye as I was making my LONG list of wants from the new catalog. I love the fun images, especially this adorable little gift box snowman!
I paired this cute guy up with a mixture of festive DSP patterns from the 2019-2021 and Brights 6x6 packs of DSP.  I love the new patterns in these packs and this is a great way to show your customers that you can mix and match any color and patterns!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, 2019-2021 In Color DSP, Brights DSP
Ink ~ VersaMark, Memento, Stampin' Blends: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Seaside Spray, Basic Black
Stamp Set ~ Lots of Cheer
Other Supplies ~ White Embossing Powder, Stitched Rectangles

We have had some unusually cooler temps this July, but it's looking like things may warm up next week.  If predictions are correct and we hit 95, I may be wishing for Christmas in July!

Be sure to check out our amazing TGIF design team creations and join along in the fun!

Sweetly Swirled Friendship ~ HSSIC#319

Hello and happy Tuesday stampers!  It's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentments Challenge and this week we have a beautiful inspiration challenge for you to play along with!
I got a new box of stamps and supplies last week, which included the adorable Sweetly Swirled stamp set.  The pretty wreath in the inspiration photo was just the inspiration I needed to pull this stamp set out to create my own wreath.
The shiplap couldn't be ignored either!  The Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder worked perfectly for creating a faux shiplap background for this card.

I am loving this beautiful color combination too!  Terracotta Tile is quickly becoming a new favorite.  It goes so well with so many other colors!

I stamped the swirly circle image as well as a few flowers and leaves, then fussy cut around the stamped images to create my wreath.  I added a few more fussy cut flowers to give the wreath a little bit of dimension and finished off the card with a simple "FRIEND".  This is a great card to send to a friend for any occasion!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Terracotta Tile
Ink ~ Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, Terracotta Tile, Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede
Stamp Set ~ Sweetly Swirled
Other Supplies ~ Well Written Dies, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots

I'm going to try to sneak in a little more stamp time this morning before I have to get back to work setting up for our yard sale this weekend.  I dread doing this, but it's always nice to clean out the house and it's always great to have a few extra dollars for back to school shopping for the kiddos!

Be sure to join in the fun and show us how you were inspired to create!

Have a great week!

RAWRsome Friend-a-Saurus ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We have another fabulous hop in store for you this week!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!
Another weekend has come and gone...summer break is going by way too fast!  I've decided that I want to be a kid again and go on all of the fun adventures my boys are going on this summer.  My twins spent the first part of last week at the lake, took in a crazy concert over the weekend and are headed out again today for a few days on the river.  My youngest got to spend a couple days at the river AND hang out with his friend at his pool.  My hubby worked some crazy shifts this week while I tried to keep up with everything at home...we need to be kids again!  This adulting stuff is for the birds!

At least I did have some fun at my monthly stamp class AND found a few hours to create a couple more RAWRsome Dino Days cards.  I had hopes of making a set of 3, but my time got away from me and I only ended up getting 2 done.  This one is fitting for a boy...
...and this one is fitting for a girl.
I love that this DSP has colors and patterns that are for both boys and girls!  I see this suite being used for several birthday cards this year.  My youngest has been having fun watching me make these cards and is anxious to make his own.  And the dies are SO MUCH FUN!  The little dots and triangles are so good for creating multicolored dinos.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Lovely Lipstick, Pool Party, Whisper White, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody, Dinoroar DSP
Ink ~ Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody, Old Olive, Pool Party, Lovely Lipstick
Stamp Set ~ Dino Days
Other Supplies ~ Dino Dies

Next up in hop is my crafty friend Cathy...her creations are always so awesome!  Or if you'd like to take a hop back, you'll find the amazingly talented Amy...I love her style!

Thank you for stopping by today!

When I first saw the sketch, I was going to go with flowers, but after I got my box of new stamps and supplies, I knew I had to use the RAWRsome new Dino Days stamp set!
The Crackle Paint background stamp went along perfectly with the egg pattern Dinoroar DSP!  Keeping with the cracked egg theme, I had the fun little diner jumping out of the egg with Happy Birthday wishes!

I love ALL of the colors in the Dinoroar Suite!  They are fun for boys and girls and just so darn cheerful!
I still haven't put this stamp set away, so be watching for a couple more cards created with this RAWRsome suite!

RAWRsome DINOROARS!

HORRAY!  My order arrived earlier this week and have been happily wasting STAMPING my days away.  Don't worry, I've only got one kid at home this week and he's still being fed! :D  Just kidding...I haven't been spending ALL of my time in my craft room, but I have been able to spend a few hours each day creating and it has been the BEST!

Have you noticed in the last few Stampin' Up! catalogs that some of the amazing DSP coordinates with some of the dies?  This is GENIUS!  This is a great way to create a quickly create a card!
With just a few snips of a section of DSP, you can cut down a few of the images to easily cut out with the coordinating dies.  Share this with your customers and show them how easily this can be done!

With just a couple of stamps, this card was so easy to put together.  Especially since I cased one of the cards in the Dinoroar suite on page 100 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  I added a few more layers and an extra dinosaur, but it's pretty darn close.  Once again, don't forget to share CASEING with your customers...it's a great way to help them get started on projects!
Don't you just love the colors in this bright and cheerful Dinoroar DSP?  It's so great to have a combination of colors that works for boys and girls!  I'm loving the Pretty Peacock and Lovely Lipstick together!
Now that I've wasted spent part of my day stamping, it's time to take my youngest to the pool.  It's been fun having just one child home for part of the week, but I'm ready for my twins to come home...I've missed them!  I'm not sure if I can say the same for them...they've been texting me all of the fun things they've been doing at their friends lake house!   I can't wait to hear the rest of their stories tonight!

Be sure to check back again on Friday!  I'll have another RAWRsome project to share with you!

Happy Stamping!

Daisies and Stripes

Hello stampers!  Did everyone have a safe and happy 4th of July? We had a day filled with family fun!  My cousins family comes to town every year for the 4th and we have some fun family traditions that we celebrate every year.  It's so much fun getting the next generation of cousins together!
We may have celebrated stars and stripes yesterday, but today we celebrate daisies and stripes!  I have been having so much fun with the new Daisy Lane Bundle.  I've had TONS of fun creating daisies in ALL the colors!
I created a fun black and white striped background, which really makes these colorful daisies pop!  My friends sister has an upcoming birthday and loves Gerber daisies in different shades of oranges and pinks.  I'm hoping she loves this card as much as she loves the flowers!

And look at those adorable fuzzy black centers!  I used my StazOn refill to ink the cute little Perennial Essence Floral Centers.   It took them a little while to dry, but it was worth the wait!  If you wanted to do this for a class, you could easily ink some up ahead of time and demo how you did it in your class.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green
Ink ~ Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Petal Pink, StazOn Refill
Stamp Set ~ Daisy Lane
Other Supplies ~ Daisy Punch, Medium Daisy Punch, Perennial Essence Floral Centers, Magnolia Memory Dies, Well Written Dies, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Subtle 3D Embossing Folder

We've had another fun-filled family day and it hasn't ended yet.  We are headed to the drive-in movies tonight to see Toy Story 4.  I'm pretty sure I may be more excited about this than the kids are!

Have a fantastic Friday!

Happy Stamping!

Birds of a Friendship

Happy Tuesday stampers!  It's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  This week we have a soft and calming color challenge for you to play along with.

I once again turned to these adorable little birdies who look so cute colored in Petal Pink.  Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral worked so well for the leaves and flowers in this stamp as well...love it!
Many of you may know that I don't travel without at least a few stamping supplies.  I stamped these cute little birds before we headed out of town for my twins baseball tournament last weekend, then colored and cut them out while my youngest and one of the other baseball siblings swam in the campground pool.  It was a win for all of us!
I love, love, love these new Stitched Nested Labels!  The stitching is so delicate and they cut both a negative AND positive image...so cool!  I used the Layered Leaves Textured Impressions Embossing folder, which ties in with the leaves in the stamp so well.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Whipser White
Ink ~ Calypso Coral, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake
Stamp Set ~ Free as a Bird
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Nested Labels

I'm off to fuel myself with coffee...I had a house full of boys last night and they wore me out!  Gotta love the summer sleepovers!

Have a fantastic day!

Happy Stamping!
