Berry Best Wishes ~ HSSSC356

Hello again and happy Tuesday friends!  I have been busily crafting away the snowy days and have another fun card to share with you today.  I am a sucker for sketches and this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge did not disappoint!

The two smaller circles in the sketch made me think of the cute blueberries in the Sale-A-Bration Berry Blessings stamp set.  I stamped the blueberries in Pacific Point, then added a few Granny Apple Green leaves to create just a bit more of a background.

A sweet little blueberry branch took the place of the larger circle in the sketch and a white heat embossed sentiment on Pacific Point was the final touch.  Oh!  And I can't forget the gorgeous Berry Delightful DSP Pacific Point plaid behind all of the stamped images.  This pack of DSP has rekindled my relationship with Pacific Point for sure!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Pacific Point, Berry Delightful DSP
Ink ~ VersaMark, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green
Stamp Set ~ Berry Blessings
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Rectangles Dies

I hope you will join us in our latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge!  We always love to see what you create!

Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Spring Chicken

Happy Monday friends! I'm back today with another super cute chicken card...can you tell how much I love these sets?!?
Today's card was inspired by the latest Freshly Made Sketches sketch.
I created the background by stamping the adorable little chick egg from Hey Chick in Crumb Cake, then added some Pool Party Pinewood Planks 3D strips.  Say that fast 3 times!!
I stamped the Hey Birthday Chick baby chick in Memento, then colored the little cutie in shades of Pool Party and Daffodil Delight, with a Granny Apple Green and Magenta Madness party hat.  Oh, and I can't forget the tiny Pumpkin Pie feet and beak! The little guy was popped up on top of some Magenta Madness confetti.  What's a birthday without confetti?!?!
I heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment on Magenta Madness and "you're still a spring chicken" on Granny Apple green.  I fussy cut each word out and arranged them in a fun little pattern under the party chick.

I can't wait to share this card with my club next month.  They are going to love it!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White
Ink ~ Crumb Cake, Magenta Madness, Memento, VersaMark, Stampin' Blends:  Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness, Pumpkin Pie
Stamp Sets ~ Hey Chick, Hey Birthday Chick
Other Supplies ~ Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder, White Embossing Powder, Birthday Chick Dies

After doing school from home for over 10 months, my youngest was finally able to go back to in person school for half days today.  He was so excited and happy to see his teacher and some of his classmates!  They are doing an AM/PM scheduled, so only have of their class is in the building at a time, which is kind of a bummer.  We hope that by next fall ALL of our students will be back in the classroom ALL day!

Happy Stamping!!

Party In The Hen House ~ Monday Montage

Hello and welcome back to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop, with an all new look!  What do you think about our new badges?!?  Our fearless leader, Wendy, spruced things up for us and I LOVE it!  Be sure to hop all the way through so you don't miss any of the great projects we have in store for you!

Being the crazy-chicken-lady that I am, of COURSE I had to get the adorable new Birthday Chick stamp set. You can only imagine how excited I was when Stampin' Up! released coordinating dies for this stamp set AND brought back the Hey Chick stamp set with coordinating dies.  There's a party in the hen house!  I had to have it all!
I love these fun and festive party chickens!!  I was so happy to see the crazy, fuzzy head chicken make a comeback to help celebrate birthdays, along with a cute little chick and a big fluffy hen with her birthday balloon.  All of the chicks were colored with my Stampin' Blends and popped up on a Granny Apple Green Oh So Ombre piece of DSP stamped with some fun bits of confetti.  A couple Happy Birthday die cuts and a couple Bermuda Bay Oh So Ombre banners finished things off!
I loved the Hey Chick stamp set the first time it came out, and I love it even more now with the fun coordinating dies that include some super cute cornstalks and chicken coop.  I die cut 3 chicken coops in Poppy Parade, Whisper White and Soft Suede, then snipped away to create a farm friendly chicken coop! Aren't the corn stalks super cute?!?  Some of the pieces are pretty tiny, but were easy to put together with my trusty Glue Dots.
I'm hoping that I can talk my hubby into building me a new chicken coop like this one this spring or summer.  Our current coop certainly needs a facelift...gotta keep the hens happy!!!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Oh So Ombre DSP, True Love DSP
Ink ~ Granny Apple Green, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Smoky Slate, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay
Stamp Sets ~ Hey Chick, Hey Birthday Chick
Other Supplies ~ Birthday Chick Dies, Chick Dies

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

With Sprinkles on Top ~ #TIGFC300 Inspiration Challenge

It's Friday and that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges!  This week we are pulling inspiration from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  I don't know about you, but the catalogs are one of my favorite places to turn for creative inspiration.
I found inspiration from the Circle Celebration samples on page 38 of the catalog.  My Layering Circles are probably my most used dies!

I cased this sample using the Ice Cream Corner Suite. The watercolor patterns in the Ice Cream Corner DSP look yummy enough to eat and are perfect for a sweet ice cream treat!
Did you know that the colors in the Ice Cream Corner DSP pair up perfectly with the Oh So Ombre DSP that you can earn during Sale-a-Bration?!?!  I love this!  The shades of Blackberry Bliss and Terracotta Tile are just delightful together.

I have been trying really hard to make more than one card whenever I create something new, swapping out a few colors or DSP patterns. I love the Bermuda Bay and Old Olive color combo...especially when you throw in a little Granny Apple Green with it!

I die cut a few sizes of circles for each card, layering them on top of the Oh So Ombre DSP, with a little piece of Ice Cream Corner DSP peeking out.  The scoops of ice cream and cones were punch right from the DSP as well, making these cards all come together in a hurry!  The most time consuming part was fussy cutting the Happy Birthday sentiment, which I never mind doing.  The Woven Threads Sequins were the sprinkles on top!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Ice Cream Corner DSP, Oh So Ombre DSP
Ink ~ Terracotta Tile, Bermuda Bay, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Sweet Ice Cream
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles Dies, Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, Woven Threads Sequin Assortment

Thank you for visiting today!  I hope you will find your own creative inspiration in the new catalog and share your creation with us at TGIF Callenges!

Happy Stamping!

Flowering Cactus Love ~ Control Freaks Blog Hop

Welcome to January's Control Freaks Blog Hop where we are sharing our love of the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  You may have just started the hop or arrive here from the amazingly creative Cindy Elam, but make sure you don't miss a stop!

Hi, my name is Bree and I have a houseplant addiction!  I have quite the collection, which include some adorable little cactus and succulents.  With that being said, you can only image how excited I was when I saw the Flowering Cactus Product Medley!

The Flowering Cactus DSP has a few sheets that have designs that coordinate with the Flowering Cactus dies. I love this! The only stamped image in my first card is the sentiment, which I heat embossed and die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies.  So cool, right?  The cacti and flowers were all die cut right from the DSP!  I layered a few different patterns and added a circle of velum before placing the cacti.

I love the pretty floral patterns of DSP, but the flip side is just a great!  I pulled several different patterns of paper in shades of green, placing them in kind of a wonky layout.  I, once again, die cut one cactus from the DSP, then added a few prickly little die cut cacti, which my son was quick to tell me look like pickles!  I may have to get creative with that!! Again, the only stamping was the sentiment!
This is such a fun kit and I am so happy that there is a refill.  That will be added to my next cart really soon!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Flowering Cactus DSP
Ink ~ VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Flowering Cactus
Other supplies ~ Flowering Cactus Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies, Flowering Cactus Twine

Next in the lineup is the marvelous Melissa Davies.  I can't wait to see what she has for us this month!
Thanks for hopping along with us this month!

All of the patterns of the Flower & Field DSP are so pretty!  It pair's up beautifully with the Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon and Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  The new Matte Black Dots were the prefect final touch!

If you've been following my blog for a while, you know that I love to fussy cut!  These pretty blooms were just begging to be cut out and layered with a few other patterns of DSP!  Again, I used the Ornate Floral 3D EF and Bumble Bee Gingham ribbon.

This one is my favorite!  I love the bright colors against the Basic Black background!  I threw in a few Granny Apple Green die cut circles for a little extra pop of color.

Nature's Beautiful Winter ~ HSSIC#355

Hello stamping friends!

Do any of you still have winter weather in your parts of the world?  We haven't had much of a winter this year and I'm kind of hoping that we just skip it this year!  I'm not a fan of the cold, but I will happily play along with this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge and create a winter wonderland!  I'm so happy to be creating with this lovely group of stampers again after a little break!

I was so inspired by the pretty fox in the snow and instantly thought of the Nature's Beauty stamp set.  Thankfully one of my dear stamping friends owns this stamp set and was kind enough to let me borrow it. And now I need to order my own!
I stamped the fox in Memento and colored it in with Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends.  I heat embossed a bit of snow and grass around the fox, then sponged in some winter colors to soften the image.  I heat embossed more snow and some sprigs of tall grass in the background, then roughed up the edges and added a little crumpled piece of Balmy Blue paper and a simple Happy Birthday sentiment to finish the card off.
Next up is a wintery dear that was the perfect card for my dad's birthday last week.  The techniques and design were pretty much the same as those that were used on the fox card.  I'm not sure that you can see very well in the pictures, but I actually filled the sequins on each card with glue from the Fine Tip glue pen, which kind of created a little epoxy dot.  I love it when these happy accidents happen!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Smoky Slate, Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray, Whisper White
Ink ~ Smoky Slate, Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze
Stamp Sets ~ Nature's Beauty, Pallet Thoughts
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Woven Threads Sequins

I don't know about you, but I am always running low on masculine birthday cards.  I made sure I created a few extra cards before I returned this stamp set to my friend.

I hope you will join us this week!

Happy Stamping

You've Got Happy Snail Mail ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

I can't believe we are already into the second week of January!  I know Valentine's Day is still a little over a month away, but I am trying to stay ahead of the game and make sure I'm not scrambling at the last minute to get cards made.

I'll admit...I was not totally sold on the Snailed It bundle at first.  That silly little snail reminded me of a cartoon, which I'm sure you are ALL familiar with, that I just cringe when my boys watched it!  But, of course all of the amazing stampers out there creating with this bundle had me changing my mind in a hurry.
I mixed up a few different Snail Mail DSP patterns and slipped in a cute little note in the envelope.  That envelope is so darn adorable!  I wrapped it all up some of the Blushing Bride bakers twine and threw in a few little white Resin Hearts.  Oh...and the fun little Real Red hearts stamped on Blueing Bride in the background are my favorite!

Next up is the silly little snail delivering some happy mail.  I will say, he is pretty cute carting that little envelope on his back!  The big postage stamp die is so much fun too!
I am awful about stamping anything on the outside of envelopes before I send a card out, but the Happy Mail Enclosed stamp in the Snailed It stamp set was just meant to be stamped on the outside!  SO.MUCH.CUTENESS!

Supplies Used:
Paper:  Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Snail Mail DSP
Ink ~ Real Red, Blushing Bride, Bermuda Bay, Memento, Stampin' Blends: Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Stamp Set ~ Snailed It
Other Supplies ~ Snail Dies, Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack, Resin Hearts, Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch

I can't wait to see what the rest of our Monday Montage crew has in store for us!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now, on to the next stop on the hop!

Happy Stamping!

We've added a list of everyone's home pages so you can hop along in any order you wish!  Just make sure you don't miss any!

Thank You Berry Much ~ #TGIFC298 Sketch Challenge

Hooray!!!  It's Friday and that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges!!  We have a fun sketch for you to play along with this week!

I could not WAIT to pair up the adorable Sweet Strawberry bundle with the oh-so-cute Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delight DSP.  This week's sketch was perfect for showcasing both stamp sets and coordinating DSP.
The Strawberry Builder Punch creates the perfect little berry.  I love that the Small Bloom Punch also coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry stamp set...perfect for a sweet little strawberry bloom.
The two step Berry Blessing stamps are so much fun.  I couldn't stop with  just the strawberry.  I had to create a blackberry...
...and a blueberry too!
Don't you just love the bright and cheerful colors in the Berry Delightful DSP?  It reminded me just how much I love Pacific Point! You can guarantee that I will be using a lot more of this!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, Pacific Point, Berry Delightful DSP
Ink ~ Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce, Flirty Flamingo, Blackberry Bliss, Pacific Point
Stamp Sets ~ Berry Blessings, Sweet Strawberry
Other Supplies ~ Strawberry Builder Punch

I can't wait to send these Thank You cards out to some dear friends and family!

I hope you play along with us this week.  We love to see what you create!

Rainbow of Greetings

 Happy Sunday stampers!

I am wrapping up the last little bit of my winter break and am so grateful for the time off with my family these past two weeks.  I would be telling a big fat lie if I said that I was ready to go back to work, but I am kind of looking forward to all of us getting back into our routine. However, I will miss all of the extra time I've had in my craft room...it's been a very productive couple of weeks!
When I placed my pre-order, the Love You Always suite was not yet available, but the beautiful black and white True Love DSP was and I just HAD to have it.  All of those beautiful blooms were just BEGGING to be colored!
I spent some time coloring many of the blooms, then fussy cutting them out.  I sat down this afternoon to create a stack of Thank You, Birthday and Thinking of You cards.  Just look at this rainbow of greetings!

I am a sucker for anything in black and white...and when you add a pop of color, it is even better!

Once the flowers were all cut out, I was able to put these cards all together in no time!  It was fun mixing up a few of the DSP patterns.
I used sentiments from Peaceful Moments and Butterfly Gala, which I paired up with the Tasteful Labels dies. And you know I can't have a card without a little bit of bling...some Rhinestone Basic Jewels were just the perfect final touch for each of these cards!
I'm pretty sure I used all shades of red, pink and purple Stampin' Blends, along with a few others, to color all of the flowers.  I'm sure I will be breaking out another sheet of this DSP soon to color even more!

I hope your New Year is off to an amazing start!

Happy Stamping!
