#TGIFC240 Inspiration Challenge

Hello stampers!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

How many of you were out in the wee hours of the morning waiting in lines for Black Friday sales?!?  Did you find any great deals?!  Once you are back home and have some time to recover from the shopping craziness, how about joining us over at TGIF Challenges for this months Inspiration Challenge!  Some of us may already have snow, while others are still enjoying the beauty of the autumn leaves.  We hope those beautiful colors of nature help inspire you to create today!
We have already had a few snow flurries, but some of the beautiful fall leaves are still hanging on.  We are blessed to live in a beautiful area, tucked right up against the foothills of the Blue Mountains.  This card was inspired by my view right out of my very own craft room window!
Just last weekend as I was working on a project in my office, I looked up just a two deer jumped over our pasture fence into our backyard. My youngest and I ran outside to see where they went and were quickly surprised to see them running back towards us with our dog right on it's heels!  You never know what kind of excitement you will have when you visit our house.
Snow Front is one of my absolute favorite stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog.  I love that you can create so many different scenes for ANY season!  The images are so soft and calming.  It's almost as if you are right there in the beautiful scenery that you have created!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Early Espresso, Gray Granite, Whisper White
Ink ~ Gray Granite, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Versa Mark
Stamp Sets ~ Snow Front, Itty Bitty Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Woodland Embossing Folder, White Embossing Powder, Linen Thread

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!  I can't wait to get home and decorate for Christmas!

Happy Stamping!

Merry Magnolia Monday

Good morning stampers!  It's a Merry Magnolia Monday!

We are in the week of Thanksgiving, but my Christmas crafting is going strong.  My Stampin' Blends haven't been getting as much love lately, so I pulled them out and brought some life to the beautiful Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.
The large magnolia bloom in this stamp set is absolutely stunning!  This flower will always be beautiful in ANY color you choose!  I had Christmas on my mind, so I went with my Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow blends.  Isn't it so pretty?
I also added some colors to the pretty little flowers in the Magnolia Lane DSP.  The flowers went from a soft white, with just a hint of Petal Pink, to a bold and beautiful Cherry Cobbler.  Have I mentioned how much I love my Stampin' Blends?!?
Supplies Used:
Paper  ~ Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Magnolia Lane DSP
Ink ~ Cherry Cobbler, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, So Saffron, Soft Suede
Stamp Sets ~ Good Morning Magnolia, Wrapped In Plaid
Other Supplies ~ Magnolia Memory Dies

I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!  My family will soon be headed out to the Oregon coast to spend the holiday with family and friends.  My hope is to ditch all devices and just enjoy our time together, so you may not hear from me until next week!

Happy Stamping!

Control Freaks Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

I'm officially a FREAK...A Control Freak!  I am SO excited to join this super talented group of stampers, especially this month as we are stamping our way through a Winter Wonderland.  You should have just made your way here from the crafty and creative Cindy Elam.  Isn't she amazing?!?!

With Christmas just around the corner, I've been working on some packaging ideas and thought it would be fun to make a cute little gift box and matching card.  I've paired up the adorable Let It Snow DSP with Everything Festive stamp set for the perfect Winter Wonderland creations!
Isn't this little snowman the CUTEST?!?!  Did you know the Snowman Builder Punch coordinates with some of the glittery snowmen and dapper little hats in the Let It Snow DSP?  This is the BEST!

Country Home Christmas

Happy Tuesday stampers!

The Hand Stamped Sentiments Design Team is back with a fun new Inspiration Challenge to play along with this week.  Just look at all of these fun and inspiring Christmas photos.  The possibilities are endless!  I can't wait to see what everyone is inspired to create!

I love the cranberry wreath!  It reminds me of the old wooden cranberry beads my mom used to decorate our tree with every Christmas and had me searching for just the right stamp set.  Country Home was just the stamp set I needed!

I love how these flowers come to life as soon as you add color with the Stamping' Blends.
I added some texture by adding a Stitched Nested Label embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder.  I added a little shine to "Christmas" with the Fine Tip Glue pen.  Have you ever done this?  It's such a fun technique that adds so much!  I also heat embossed a Flower Faceted Gem in gold for just the right amount of bling.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Ink ~ VersaMark, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow
Stamp Sets ~ Country Home, Dashing Deer
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Nested Label Dies, Merry Christmas Dies, Flower Faceted Gems, Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you all have time to play along with us this week!

Happy Stamping!

Winter Knit All Wrapped in Plaid

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

Many stampers spent their weekend at OnStage events all around the world.  I was unable to attend this time, but it was so great seeing all of the pictures that so many attendees shared!  I can't wait to get my own copy of the upcoming Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs!

I did miss out on attending, but the Wickedly Wonderful Wendy and I spent some FaceTime together and got our crafting on.  Thank goodness for technology when you can't be together!

My Wrapped In Plaid suite has been a bit neglected lately, so I pulled it out and had some fun creating a few cards.

I added some texture with the festive Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder.  I love how well this paired up with the Wrapped In Plaid suite!

There are so many CUTE patterns in the package of DSP...the pattern mixing possibilities are ENDLESS!

I finished off the card with a gold embossed Merry Christmas sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

All of the different trees in the Perfectly Plaid stamp set are so good! There is a tree that works with every pattern of DSP!

These would be great cards to make at a Christmas Workshop!  The coordinating Pine Tree Punch makes creating these cards a breeze!

Thanks for hopping along with us!  Just click on the buttons below to make your way through the entire hop.  We've got some great projects in store for you!

Happy Stamping!

We've added a list of everyone's home pages so you can hop along in any order you wish!  Just make sure you don't miss any!

#TGIFC238 Theme Challenge

Hello stampers and welcome to an all new TGIF ChallengesThis week we have a special theme to inspire some Grateful creations.  What are some things that you are grateful for?
I know I am SO grateful for the amazing and talented ladies on our TGIF design team.  I am missing so many of them as they gather for OnStage!  I am anxiously awaiting all of their pictures!

Does anyone else LOVE the Come to Gather DSP as much as I do?  The colors and patterns in this pack of paper are AMAZING!  I'm down to just bits and pieces of scraps, but I did have enough left to create a Thankful banner...just in time for Thanksgiving!

The colors in this DSP are so warm and cozy...perfect for some fall home decor.

Aren't the Gathered Leaves dies stunning?  The fact that they cut AND emboss is the best thing ever!  It's so much fun to spritz your card stock with just a bit of water and see the magical variations with each leaf cut.  It's almost like it brings them to life!

I may not be attending OnStage for this session, but there are some plans for some FaceTime crafting this weekend with my stampy BFF!  Thank goodness for technology in times when you can't be together in person!

To all of those who are attending OnStage, have so much fun!  I can't wait to see all of your posts and hear all about the amazing new things that are coming our way.

Happy Stamping!

Paper ~ Gray Granite, Pretty Peacock, Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze, Pear Pizzazz, Mint Macaron, Come To Gather DSP

Season of Thanks

Happy Thursday stampers!  One of my dear friends texted me yesterday asking if I had any Thanksgiving cards.  I only had one, so I decided I better get to work and make a few more, especially since it's only 3 weeks away!
As always, Freshly Made Sketches had a great sketch to work with!  With the help of their sketch and the beautiful Come To Gather Suite, I had another Thanksgiving card ready to go!
I have said it before and I will say it again...the colors in this DSP are gorgeous!  And I am pretty sure I could use 100 sheets of the polka dot pattern...it's the best!
I am loving all of the fun new dies that cut AND emboss!  I hope we see more of these in the future!  With a little spritz of water on your paper, the leaves come to life right before your eyes!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Gray Granite, Pretty Peacock, Merry Merlot, Come to Gather DSP
Ink ~ Early Espresso, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Gather Together
Other Supplies ~ Gathered Leaves Dies, Come to Gather Ribbon

We've almost made it to the weekend!  Does anyone have some stamping planned?  I get a long weekend, so I will be getting in some time in my craft room!

Merry Snowmen Banner ~ HSSCC327

Happy Tuesday stampers!  We are back with an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.  I don't know about you, but these colors had me thinking of Christmas right away!
And these fun and festive colors just so happen to be in the ADORABLE Let it Snow DSP.  This is my favorite DSP in the 2019 Catalog!  I love the bright colors and the stripes...stripes are my FAVORITE!

It's been a bit since I've made a banner, so I decided it was time.   With a few cute patterns and some quick die-cutting, I had this banner made in no time!

I added a few punched embellishments, a little pine tree and a cute little top hat, strung it all together and called it good!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Let It Snow DSP. Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Shaded Spruce
Other Supplies ~ Nested Stitched Labels, Layering Circles, Triple Banner Punch, Whisper White Bakers Twine

Be sure to join in the color fun with this week's challenge!  We love to see what you are inspired to create!

Happy Stamping!

You're Never Too Old ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

Have two boys in middle school has kept me in the birthday-card-making-business!  I feel like my boys are looking for a birthday card for one of their friends every other weekend, so I decided to take a little break from the holiday crafting to make a few birthday cards to have on hand!
Broadway Birthday is such a fun stamp set and the coordinating dies are the BEST!  With some bright and cheerful colors, you can create a couple of teen-approved cards in a hurry.
While I live in a house full of boys, all 3 of them have lots of friends who are girls, so having girl-friendly cards on hand is a must.  Melon Mambo is one of my favorite go-to colors for girls.  It's so cheerful and fun!
This card would work for a boy or a girl and that's a win in my book!  I love the fun balloons and party hats in this stamp set and the coordinating dies are absolute perfection!

Thanks for hopping along with us!  Just click on the buttons below to make your way through the entire hop.  We've got some great projects in store for you!

Happy Stamping!

#TGIFC236 Color Challenge

Welcome to November, Friday AND an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!
I've been on a Christmas card kick lately, but it was nice to take a little break and give some love to one of my favorite stamp sets in the Annual Catalog!  I hope Rooted In Nature is here to stay a while longer.  This beautiful stamp set is perfect for any occasion and for anyone!
I stamped a few of the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and added a splash of Calypso Coral behind the wood round.  I felt like the background still needed a bit more and decided a few embossed leaves would be just right!
You all know that I love me so fussy cutting!  I put my scissors to work on the sentiment and finished off the card with a few extra die cut leaves and some ribbon.  Simple and beautiful...sometimes those are the best cards!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Ink ~ Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso
Stamp Set ~ Rooted In Nature
Other Supplies ~ Nature's Roots Dies, Linen Thread, Magnolia Lane Ribbon

I love the Very Vanilla with these colors...so soft and warm.  I ignore my Very Vanilla card stock far too often and need to be better about using it!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have a fantastic weekend and enjoy your extra hour of sleep!

Happy Stamping!
