Friends Are The Family...

It's time for a pretty new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge

I had some fun with some new products for this card!

The You are Remarkable flowers are so pretty stamped in Fresh Freesia and Soft Sea Foam. A Summer Splash card base with a fun Glass & Gardens embossed layer adds a big pop of color.  I added a strip of Fresh Freesia Beautiful Bokeh along with a strip of Soft Sea Foam, stamped tone on tone with the floral image to tie the colors all together.

An Around It All circle of Botanical Textures was the perfect background for this bouquet of flowers. I colored the leaves in Soft Sea Foam and added a few Fresh Freesia dots as well.

I love this sentiment from Pattern of Friendship.  Friends are the family you choose for yourself.  I know just who this card is being sent to!  The Shades of Green Hexagons were perfect the perfect way to finish off this card...just the right amount of bling!

Happy Stamping!

Pretty Patterned Paper

It's time for another Use Your Stash InstaHop! This month we are using Pretty Patterned Paper...and I have TONS in my stash!

I pulled out the True Love DSP to create this pretty Mother's Day card for my very own momma.  I love the classy black and white designs in the pack of paper!

I colored one of the floral images in Petal Pink, as well as a few of the tiny flowers in the background.  With a little help from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, I pulled in a bit more Petal Pink.

A stamped sentiment from She's The Greatest and a few Low Profile Dots helped to complete the card.

She's The Greatest

This week's TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge was just the inspiration I needed to get a card made for Mother's Day!  Join in the fun and play along!

What do you call a card that uses 3 different stamp sets?  A $100 card!  But that's why we have so many stamp sets...so we can create fun cards like this!

I stared with the Painted Stripes as my background...which is my new favorite, if you haven't already guessed!  Next I stamped and colored these tiny little flowers from She's The Greatest and tucked them around some Around It All die cut circles from  the Floral Delight DSP.

The larger circles needed a bigger sentiment, so I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Simple Birthday stamp set and fussy cut just the Happy.  I stamped Mother's Day, from She's the Greatest, in Daffodil Delight to complete the sentiment.

A little bit of white twine and some Antique Pearls completed the card.

Wishing all of the momma's out there a Happy Mother's Day this weekend!

Zipping By with Monday Montage

Happy Monday!  Our Monday Montage crew is back with another fabulous InstaHop!  Head on over to Instagram to see what we have in store this week!

Our very own Wendy and Cheryl visited me this past weekend and we stamped our hearts out!  We swapped and shared our stamps and dies and had the BEST time!

I didn't think I needed the All Zipped Up bundle, but after playing with these fun stamps and dies...well, lets just say they have found their way into my cart!

I cased the online sample of this card, switching out a few elements to make it my own. The Cloud Cover stamp pads might not be available yet, but that's not going to stop me from using the paper.  This color is so pretty and I love it paired up with Darling Ducking and Strawberry Slush!
Isn't the zipper the best?  So super cute!

In addition to visiting some of Wendy and Cheryl's favorite Walla Walla attractions and spending time in the kitchen preparing delicious meals, we spend a lot of time in my craft room.  My heart is happy and full!  Love these friends!

Thoughtful Hydrangeas

Happy Tuesday and welcome to April's Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge!  There are so many fun images to pull inspiration from...it was hard to choose!

I was most inspired by the hydrangeas and stripes on the beach towel...take a look to see what I came up with!

I created my own striped background by cutting strips of Basic White and Blueberry Bushel.  I love the extra pop of color from the Blueberry Bushel stripes!

I used the hexagon dies from the Meant to Bee dies, using both the solid and outline hexagon shapes in various patterns of Lovely Garden DSP. The hydrangeas were fussy cut and arranged amongst the hexagons.

The Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack made finding the right sentiment so super easy...I love this pack!  A simple little Fresh Fresia Faux Velvet Ribbon and a few Two-Tone Sparkle Gems completed the card.

I hope you'll join along in the fun and share what inspired you to create!

Freshly Made Cheers & Sips

Happy Mail It Monday!  Today is all about making a card AND mailing it...who will be the lucky recipient of today's card?!?

With some help from the latest Freshly Made Sketches Challenge and my trusty Paper Snips, these refreshing images from Celebratory Sips helped to create a card that's perfect for the taste-of-summer weather we've been having!
All of the images were snipped from the DSP, except for the sweet and simple sentiment.  If you haven't noticed, I LOVE DSP that has cute images to fussy cut!
The Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder added some fun texture and a few Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems added just the right amount of sparkle!

Who will you making a card for and mailing it to today?

Paint the Town...

...it's your birthday!

Welcome to an all new TGIF Product Challenge...alphabet dies!  I don't know about you, but I have collected so many sets of alphabet dies over the years! They can be used for any card, any occasion.  Do you have a favorite set of alphabet dies?

The Mini Alphabet dies are one of my favorite!  I die cut HAPPY in a rainbow of colors to coordinate with the paintbrush colors, adding a shadow of Basic Black behind each letter to make them pop a bit more.

I used the Painted Stripes background stamp to create the brush strokes...how fun is this?!?  Melon Mambo, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Granny Apple Green an Coastal Cabana create a rainbow of happiness!  Simply Said helped to complete the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Taking the Scenic Route with the Artisan Design Team

We are so excited about the 2025 Artisan journey we get to take with you this year & all that we have to share!  So let's keep the sharing going with an InstaHop inspired by the new Annual Catalog.  Come hop along with us as we share projects inspired by new and carry-over products!

I am sharing a bright and happy card using the Weekend Adventures stamp set, which is part of the Weekend Adventure scrapbooking products.

I opted for a card with this stamp set, using the adorable camping coffee mug.  I'm all about ALL things coffee, especially when you can add some cute flowers to the mix!

I stamped the mug in VersaMark on Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Timid Tiger, then heat embossed in white.  I also added some white splatters...because every good camping mug has some good splatters on it!

I colored the cute wildflowers in colors to coordinate with the mugs, tucking them inside the top mug.  I used the Painted Trees 3D embossing folder with a piece of Granny Apple Green Two-Tone Cardstock, sanding a little bit off to expose the white core of the paper.    I finished the card off with the sentiment stamped in Secret Sea and a few Secret Sea 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

Be sure to follow along with the hop over on Instagram so you don't miss a single creation from the 2025 Artisan Design Team!

For The Books - Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #461

I always love a good sketch and this week's Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge is one that everyone is going to love!  This sketch allows you to have all kinds of fun with layers!

I'm trying to give some love to all of my Last Chance stamp sets and papers.  I'm so sad that For the Books and Country Flowers aren't sticking around longer.  I love how well these two stamp sets worked together!

The fun colored books matched up with the layers of Summer Splash and Azure Afternoon.  And the printed pattern of Nature's Sweetness DSP was the perfect background for this book-loving card!

This card is perfect as we near the end of the school year.  Now I need to decide which co-worker I'm going to send this to before the school year is over!

I hope you'll join along in the fun with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

He Is Risen

It's time for another Mail It Monday...a day for not only making a card, but sending it as well!

In honor of Holy Week, the Faith Collection bundle helped to create this beautiful card. I love the woodgrain die-cut cross in this bundle...it is stunning!

Inspired by the latest Freshly Made Sketches, I used the Everyday Arches dies, which worked beautifully with the palm branches.
I dropped the sentiment a bit lower than the sketch and added a few more palm branches and some pretty Daffodil Delight Lillies.  The mound of dirt die from the Storybook Garden Patch dies was perfect to tuck the cross in to.
The Lost Lagoon pattern of the Storybook Moments DSP brought just the right amount of soft color to the card.

Who will you be sending a card to on this Mail It Monday?

Celebrating Five Years Around The World on Wednesday

Five years ago yesterday (April 8, 2020) in the midst of the COVID pandemic we shared our first hug around the world on Wednesday!!!  To celebrate this milestone, we are CAS(e)ing one of our beautiful team members, Anne Marie Hile

Whether you are arriving here from the talented Theresa McEntee or just getting started, be sure you hop all the way through to see all of the creative and inspired projects created by this talented team of stampers!

I chose to CASE an adorable card that Anne Marie created (seen below) for another Around the World on Wednesday hop a couple of years ago.  I love anything "school" related and this gave me the perfect reason to ink up the new School Days stamp set in some of the brand new 2025-2027 In Colors.

I went with the same layout, using the new 6x6 patterns of the 2025-2027 In Color DSP in shades of Darling Duckling and Secret Sea.  Have you seen that Strawberry Slush has made a comeback with the new In Colors as well?  I'm so excited! This was the perfect alternative for the apple!

I hope you continue to feel the big hugs we share each and every month! We always need a little love in our lives, every single day!

Happy Stamping!

Next up is my friend Teri West - Alaska Stamper. I can't wait to see what she has to share with us this month.

Hand Stamped Note of Appreciation

It's time for an all new color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

I was a bit stumped with this color combo at first, but as soon as I pulled out the ink pads, I instantly knew I needed to use the Texture Notes bundle.  These earthly colors are beautiful with this stamp set!

I stamped the leaf images in Pretty Peacock and Summer Splash, then put my snips to work...fussy cutting is one of my favorite crafty things to do! The wicker round was stamped in Pecan Pie, which was the perfect centerpiece for the greenery.

A couple of Textured Notes die cut Pecan Pie rectangles added a bit more color and texture to the card, along with a die cut card front.  A Pretty Peacock card base and sentiment brought a bit of boldness to the card.  And I can't forget the Summer Splash Resin Dots!

Join along in the colorful fun!

Mixed Florals For Piccadilli Players

Welcome to the first ever Piccadilli Players post! You might be asking what or who these Piccadilli Players are...follow along over on Instagram to see all of the talented designers who share a little love for pickles.  IYKYK!

Our first hop theme is flowers in our favorite colors.  It was hard to decide which of my favorite colors I wanted to use, so I decided to go with my favorite color of tulips in my garden...Petal Pink!

While they might be the most difficult colors to photograph, the softness of the Petal Pink blooms, with a splash of Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam stems creates the most lovely bouquet of spring flowers.

I heat embossed one of the Elements of Text images in white then blended a little Gray Granite over the top.  The fun banner adds a bit of flair to the Spotlight on Nature die cut sentiment.

What's another color that's hard to photograph?!? Gray Granite!  I tried my best, but there are some green undertones that I just couldn't seem to edit out.  If you look past that, you'll see the beautiful embossed background for this bunch of greenery.  The background technique and layout of this card come from a couple Crafty Carrot tutorials this month. (If you haven't checked them out, do it now!  They have a free month coming up in May!)

Follow along on Instagram starting with me craftsomnia to see the rest of the amazing floral creations in our favorite colors!

Beautiful Butterflies

Welcome to the latest TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge!  There are so many beautiful images and colors to pull inspiration from...I can't wait to see what everyone is inspired to create!

I embossed the Beautiful Butterflies in gold, adding some color with the Water Painters in shades of Petunia Pop, Peach Pie and Lemon Lolly.  To achieve the darker colors, applied a few layers of color, allowing the paper to dry in between each application.
Nature's Sweetness DSP helped to bring out the gold embossing, along with my favorite Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Thanks for visiting!
