It's Snowman Season!

It's September 30th and officially snowman season!  Yes, you read that right...Snowman Season!  We did not get snow in Walla Walla (thank goodness!) but areas all around our state in higher elevations were hit with blizzard like conditions and snow accumulation of almost 3 inches.  WHAT?!?!  Where is our Indian Summer?!?!
Since it was too cold and wet to do much of anything outside, I cozied up in my craft room and built a few snowmen using the absolutely adorable Snowman Season bundle.
This first jolly little snowman was made using the coordinating Snowman Builder Punch.  I love the cute hat and little stick arms.
Who else is excited about the Puff Paint?!?  I remember using this early in my stamping years and was so happy to see it again!  It's so magical watching the snow form...with heat!  This will be great for all of your holiday creations!

Next up is a jolly little guy with a happy little tree.  His cute little arms look like they are ready to catch some snowflakes, so I stamped some just for him!
With gift giving season quickly approaching, I used the last little snowman for a cute tag to finish off a treat box.  With a few strips of the festive Let It Snow DSP, I had the box all dressed up in no time.  This is a great way to showcase several different patterns of DSP!
How can you not smile when you see this frolicking snowman?!?  He will bring joy to anyone's day!

I had hopes that this crazy cold weather would be short lived, but the weather forecast isn't looking too promising.  My hubby is happy with the cooler temps as it makes for a better hunting season, but I'm still hoping for a few more warmer days!

Paper ~ Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Let It Snow DSP

Come To Gather for a Birthday Celebration ~ HSSCC#324

Happy Tuesday stampers!  It's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge!  I love these colors and can't wait to see what everyone creates with them!

We are into our second day of fall and just a day away from my momma's birthday.  I thought it would be fun to make her a fall inspired birthday card with the Come To Gather suite in the HSS color combo.
This pattern of Come To Gather DSP was meant to be for this color challenge and was the perfect start to this card.  I stamped a few of the large leaf images to create my background, which was the only stamping I did!  The rest are all dies...so much fun!

I used the pretty Hand-Lettered Prose Dies for "Happy" and Well Written Dies for "birthday".  I love how well they paired up together!  And to add the additional colors from the challenge, I cut a few leaves from Gathered Leaves Dies.  I said it yesterday and I'll say it again today...these dies are AMAZING!  The embossing is so awesome!
I finished off the card with few Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots and a little Linen Thread Bow.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pretty Peacock, Minto Macaron, Terracotta Tile, Grapefruit Grove, Come To Gather DSP
Ink ~ Mint Macaron
Stamp Set ~ Gather Together
Other Supplies ~ Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots, Linen Thread, Hand-Lettered Prose Dies, Well Written Dies, Gathered Leaves Dies

We have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow after work and school, but we are sneaking in a little bit of time to celebrate my momma's birthday.  I hope she loves her card!

Have a great Tuesday!

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

Fall is officially upon us!  While I am a summer-lovin' girl, I do love the beginning of fall.  The cooler mornings and evenings with warmer days are the BEST!  The changing leaves and pumpkins that are nearing harvest were the inspiration behind today's card.  I just got the Come To Gather suite in my last order and am happy to finally be creating with it!

Have you seen the Come To Gather DSP yet?!?!  It is AMAZING!  All of the colors and patterns are so good!  I love this polka dot pattern the best of all!  With a couple of colorful strips of other patterns and a splash of color from the leaves and pumpkin, it gives you the feeing of a warm and cozy fall day.
And the Gathered Leaves dies...so awesome!  Not only do they cut out the perfect pumpkin, they cut AND emboss some beautiful fall leaves!  Be prepared to see several creations with this suite!

#TGIFC230 Product Spotlight ~ Mosaic Mood

Wowzers!!!  It's already Friday...WOO-HOO!  And even better...it's a TGIF Challenges Friday!  We are shining the spotligh on Mosiac Mood and Perennial Essence this week.  Both of these sweets are so pretty!
I don't know about you, but the days are flying by quicker and quicker!  Between me being back to work and the boys being back to school, and back to sports, our days are so jam packed!  My time in my craft room hasn't been near as much as I would like, but I'm still squeezing in a little time here and there.  I did find some time to pull out the Mosaic Mood suite this week.  I have not seen many cards made using this sentiment, so that was my main focus.  I love the simplicity of the coordinating Timeless Label Punch.
I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede, then stamped it again on Terracotta Tile and heat embossed it in white. I love the pop of color!  I discovered that the tree branch image makes a great background/border stamp too!
If you haven't taken the time to fussy cut any of the images from the Mosaic Mood DSP, DO IT!  The birds and flowers are AMAZING and can make a card all on their own!  I chose to cut out some of the rose leaves to tuck behind the sentiment.  With the added Stitched Nested die, a bit of Linen Thread and a pretty little Flower Faceted Gem.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Terracotta Tile, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Mosaic Mood DSP
Ink ~ Soft Suede, Mint Macaron, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Memorable Mosaic
Other Supplies ~ Timeless Label Punch, Stitched Nested Dies, Line Thread, Flower Faceted Gems, White Embossing Powder

Keep your fingers crossed I can get in to my craft room over the weekend.  I have a box full of new stuff that's been waiting for me all week!

Have an amazing weekend!

Hello Little One

Happy Friday stamping friends!  It's a Freshly Made Sketches  Friday....the perfect way to kick off the weekend!
Now that my boys are older, I find myself not creating baby cards as often as I used to.  Knowing that there are several little ones who will soon be making their way in to the world, I am doing my best to work ahead!
I love, love, LOVE the adorable Little Elephant stamp set and coordinating Elephant Builder Punch!  It's too cute and perfect for a new baby card!
Isn't the Denim Ribbon the best?!?!  It is so versatile and works for so many cards!  And look at those cute little elephant ears!  I stamped the fun stitched boarder in Petal Pink and punched them out for just the right splash of pink, working for a baby boy or a baby girl.  The Tufted 3D embossing folder isn't quite available yet in the new style of embossing folders, but I'm still happily using the older style and loving it on this card.  It reminds me of a baby blanket my youngest had!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Whisper White
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Petal Pink
Stamp Set ~ Little Elephant
Other Supplies ~ Elephant Builder Punch, Stitched Shapes, Tufted 3D EF, Denim Ribbon

One baby card down...a few more to go!  Hopefully I can find some time this weekend to get a few more made!

Until my next post...have a great Friday!

Happy Stamping!

All the Good Things

Happy Tuesday friends!  It's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge and this week we have a fun sketch challenge for you!
Fall weather seems to have hit us, but I'm not sure it is here to stay. But after some pretty warm days last week, it's nice to have some cooler temps.  I'm a summer girl at heart, but I do love the beginning of fall and all of the beautiful colors that begin to appear.  Those colors inspired the pretty bouquet of country flowers.

I'm feeling pretty thankful for all the good things today.  My momma had surgery yesterday and all went well...something to be very thankful for!  She's at home resting and on her way to recovery.
Supplies ~ Crumb Cake, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White
Ink ~ Blackberry Bliss, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Smoky Slate, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Pool Party
Stamp Set ~ Country Home
Other Supplies ~ Nesting Dies, Braided Linen Trim, Tin Tile Embossing Folder, Silver Metallic Pearls

Before I fussy cut the flowers, I outlined the image in Pool Party.  This gives a bit more of an outline to follow and helps fill in the spots that I can't quite get my scissors into.  Fun little tip for those who love to fussy cut like me!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope to be back later this week with more to share.

Happy Stamping!

Swirly Thank You

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We have another fabulous hop in store for you this week!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!

I held my monthly card class over the weekend and I was struggling to come up with ideas for my last two cards.  I had no problem coming up with ideas using some of my new items from the 2019   Holiday Catalog, but deciding on what stamp sets to use from the Annual Catalog had me stumped!  Since I was running short on time, I grabbed the adorable Sweetly Swirled stamp set and had a cute card in no time!

I love the swirly circle and ovals...they are so FUN!  And the little leaves and flowers...LOVE!  I used the swirly circles to create the background and the swirly oval for the flowers and sentiment, then added a few strips of paper in colors to coordinate with the flowers.  Quick, easy and simply swirly!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, Terracotta Tile
Ink ~ Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, Terracotta Tile, Gray Granite
Stamp Set ~ Sweetly Swirled
Other Supplies ~ Layering Ovals, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestone Jewels

I'm always worried about having cards that are too simple (or boring) at my class, but this card was a hit!  Everyone LOVED this stamp set!

Next up in hop is my crafty friend Cathy...her creations are always so awesome!  Or if you'd like to take a hop back, you'll find the amazingly talented Amy...I love her style!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Merry Magnolias

Oh my goodness am I happy it's Friday!  It has been a doozy of a week and my brain is FRIED!  I was excited to play along with this weeks TGIF Challenges Color Challenge...but then I realized I used the wrong color.  OOPS!
I'm pretty sure I looked at the colors and failed to actually READ the colors...which means I used Cherry Cobbler instead of Merry Merlot.  At least I still ended up with a pretty card!
Did you know that when you color the pretty magnolia's on the Magnolia Lane DSP in Cherry Cobbler, you end up with beautiful poinsettia's?  Maybe this is why my brain went with Cherry Cobbler rather than Merry Merlot!  Regardless, coloring these flowers in ANY color makes for something pretty magical!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Magnolia Lane DSP, Gold Glimmer
Ink ~ Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends
Stamp Set ~ Dashing Deer
Other Supplies ~ Frosted Bouquet, Merry Christmas, Stitched Rectangles, Magnolia Memory

Here's to a little rest and rejuvenation this weekend to help get my brain back on track!

Happy Stamping!

Friendship Blessings

Happy Labor Day friends!  Today we honor all of the working people, especially those who are working while others, like myself, who have the day off.   I may have the day off from my paying job, but I will be putting in some work at home today with my boys as we prepare our chicken coop for some new chicks!
But before we get to work, a little stamping time was a must! I snuck in just enough time to play along with Freshly Made Sketches 400th Sketch Challenge.
I love the sample of To A Wild Rose on page 140 of the Annual Catalog.  The black and white with just a pop of color, along with this great sketch, inspired today's creation.
I was once again reminded that I forgot to add the Wide Rose dies to my order when I ordered this stamp set.  It's a good thing I love to fussy cut though!
Doesn't the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder go so well with this stamp set?  It gave this card just the right amount of texture!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink ~ Memento, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz
Stamp Set ~ To A Wild Rose
Other Supplies ~ Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

I have just a bit more time to sneak in some stamping before I have to wake my kiddos up and get to work...I'm going to take full advantage of it!

Have a great day!

Happy Stamping!
