I am pairing up the beautiful Painted Seasons DSP with the super cute Foxy Friends stamp set for a fun birthday card for our little friend Ella, who will be turning 3 next week.  This weeks Global Design Project sketch helped to create a fun layout for this foxy little guy!
As soon as I saw this pattern in the Painted Seasons DSP pack, I immediately thought of Foxy Friends.  I'm so glad this stamp set and bundle is still around!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Painted Seasons DSP
Ink ~ Pumpkin Pie, Call Me Clover, Early Espresso, Memento, Poppy Parade
Stamp Sets ~ Foxy Friends, Amazing Life
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Fox Builder Punch

I love all of the fun mushrooms in this DSP!  Fussy cutting a few out made for the perfect little embellishments.  Miss Ella loves hunting for mushrooms with her momma, so this DSP was meant to be for her birthday card!

To Those Who Inspire Us

Hello stampers!  We made it through another Monday and we're on to Tuesday!  And you all know what Tuesday's bring...an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  This week we have a fun sketch for you to play along with.  I cant wait to see all of the beautiful creations you share with us!
Our Women's Ministry is full of amazing women that are constantly inspiring me in one way or another.  These women, along with this weeks sketch, helped inspire today's card.  If you haven't earned the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Part of My Story, it is one you must have for your collection.  The sentiments are the best!  Just a few more days left of Sale-a-Bration...don't miss out!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Silver Foil
Ink ~ Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party
Stamp Set ~ Part of My Story
Other Supplies ~ Cross of Hope Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Wooden Butterfly Elements, Iridescent Sequins, Coastal Caban/Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon, Duet Banner Punch

There are so many inspiring people in our world!  I absolutely love this sentiment!  I fussy cut "Who Inspire Us" and used the Duet Banner Punch to cut out "Here's To Those".  Fussy cutting sentiments is one of my favorite techniques...it's like creating a whole new image!

Baseball season is in full swing {pun intended} so my stamping and blogging time is so very limited.  I miss my time in my craft room, but being out at the ball fields watching my boys play is what I live for.  These years fly way far too fast and will be over before I know it!  So, if you don't hear as much from me over the next couple of months, you'll know why.

Happy Stamping!

The Subtle Embossing Folder has got to be one of my favorites!  I love that it gives just a hint of texture, especially when you are using Whisper White card stock.

My sketch inspiration came from the latest Freshly Made Sketches challenge...my favorite go-to when I need a starting place for my cards!

At Home with You ~ HSSIC310

Happy Tuesday stampers!  We are just a few days away from the first day of spring and I am SO ready for it!  We have had snow on the ground since the beginning of February and it is time for it to all go away.  While we {impatiently} wait for the snow to melt, this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge made it feel like spring in my craft room.

There are so many cheerful images to pull inspiration from!  I was drawn to the door as I imagined sitting on my own front porch, surround by spring flowers.  Hopefully that day will actually be here in the very near future!

I used a few different sets of dies to create this card.  It always so much fun to pair so many different products up to produce a fun card!  I added a bit of embossing paste bricks too.  I love the added texture this gives to any creation!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate, Soft Sea Foam, Wood Textures DSP
Ink ~ Coastal Cabana, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive, Smoky Slate
Stamp Set ~ At Home with You
Other Supplies ~ At Home Framelits, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, White Embossing Paste, Pattern Party Decorative Masks, Pretty Park Framelits

When we are finally able to re-side our house, I would love to with with a cheerful So Saffron exterior with a Coastal Cabana door...these colors are just so fun and inviting!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you are already enjoying some spring-like weather or will be soon!

Happy Stamping!

Enjoy the Simple Moments ~ #tgifc202 Sketch Challenge

Welcome to Friday and an all new TGIF Sketch Challenge #202!
I am trying to keep up on birthday cards for family members this year and needed a card for my father-in-law.  I had pulled out the Waterfront stamp set a couple weeks ago with the intent to make him a card, but had yet to get around to it.  Until this weeks sketch challenge came along!  As soon as I saw the sketch, the card all came together and will soon be in the mail!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP
Ink ~ Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Early Espresso
Stamp Sets ~ Waterfront, Home To Roost
Other Supplies ~ Linen Thread

I forgot how much a piece of torn paper adds to a card!  It gave this just just enough texture to go along with the mountain scene.  And this sentiment...can I just say how much I love this?!?  I am doing my best to enjoy every single simple moment these days!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

A Friend is Thinking of You ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We have another fabulous hop in store for you this week!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!
I've said it before and I'll probably to continue to say it as long as I'm stamping...my creative time is my therapy time.  Whether it's taking a bit of time in the early morning hours before my house wakes up or some quiet moments in the evenings or, if i'm lucky enough, a few hours over the weekend, time spent in my craft room is often times a therapy session for me.  More often than not, my cards are created based off of my current state of mind, which was the case with today's card.  Exactly one year ago, my boys suffered the unexpected loss of one of their classmates, who was also the sister of one of their friends.  Even today, a year later, it is hard to put in to words how much my heart hurts for their family and everyone else who were effected by her passing.  I can't even begin to imagine the heartache they feel each and every day, but I pray that it becomes a little less with each passing day.  While their family is on my mind almost daily, they especially are today.  I choose yellow for the roses in hope of spreading warm feelings and friendship for all of those who will be missing her today.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Whisper White, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover, Botanical Butterfly DSP
Ink ~ VersaMark, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover
Stamp Sets ~ Petal Palette, Part of My Story
Other Supplies ~ Petals & More Thinlits, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon, Well Written Framelits, Subtle Embossing Folder, Layered Leaves Embossing Folder

I LOVE all of the sentiments in the Part of My Story stamp set!  And being able to coordinate the Well Written Framelits with this particular sentiment just made me happy!

Next stop on the hop is my friend Cathy...I always love all of her awesome creations! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on backwards to the amazingly talented Amy...her stamping style is amazing!  Thanks you for stopping by today!

Citrus Birthday Wishes

Happy March!  I'm really hoping March got a head start in roaring in like a lion with all of the snow we got at the end of February and goes out like a lamb in a hurry!  Our first baseball tournament is at the end of the month and our team has yet to have an outside practice, thanks to the ridiculous amount of snow on the ground.  We are hoping for some warmer temps over the next couple weeks so we can get our boys out there!
While we wait for all of the snow to go away, I'm trying to warm things up with some summery creations!  I'm still having fun creating fun backgrounds on the Glossy card stock.  Have you tried it yet?!?!  Inspired by some of my lemon decor on my mantle, I pulled out my Lemon Zest stamp set and created this cheerful card using this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Glossy
Ink ~ Flirty Flamingo, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Granny Apple Green
Stamp Set ~ Lemon Zest
Other Supplies ~ Lemon Builder Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Gingham Gala Sequins

This has me dreaming of sitting on my back patio sipping on some sweet lemonade in the sunshine...while I am actually sitting on my couch wrapped up in a couple blankets, sipping on coffee and watching more snow come down.  Come on Mother Nature...it's time to stop with the snow!

Sending sun-shiny wishes to all of you for a fabulous weekend!

Happy Stamping!
