Happier Than Happy

Happy Tuesday and welcome to an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge.  I love the summer vibe of all of these images and live vicariously through them over our rainy weekend.  I'm really hoping summer finds it's way here soon!

I was drawn to the meadow image and immediately thought of the adorable Happy Forest Friends DSP.  The Calypso Coral flowers and mushrooms remind me of the pops of color from the flowers in the meadow.

You all know that I LOVE to fussy cut, right?!?  I turned on one of my favorite shows and started cutting away, cutting little bits and pieces of critters to add to the adorable forest pattern of DSP.
This cuddly bear is the star of the show on this corner of DSP.  A few extra tree stumps and a hoot owl were the perfect touch to complete the forest scene.  A heat embossed sentiment embellished with a few die cut acorns and leaves completed the card.

Next up is a majestic mountain scene that reminds me of the mountains just to the east of us.  An extra tree, along with another happy bear and furry fox made this mountain scene even happier.

The sentiment was stamped in Calypso Coral and fussy cut for just the right placement.

I love it when DSP can totally make a card!  This suite will certainly make you Happier than Happy!

Another Round of Birthday Brews

The weekend is here and there is nothing better, in my crafty world, than starting the day off with some stamping!  This weeks Freshly Made Sketches offered inspiration for a Brewed for You birthday card.

Since I still had some pieces of He's The Man DSP out on my desk I put them to good use for this sketch with the Basic Boarders Dies.  I love the BBQ patterns, which go together so well with the Brewed For You stamp set and Brewed Dies.

To create a frosty glass look, I die cut the mug and growler from a piece of Vellum, layered on top of Crushed Curry.  Foamy bubbles topped the mug and a little hop was tucked behind for the perfect pop of color.

A sentiment heat embossed on Mint Macaron added a little more color and some white Classic Matt Dots were the perfect little embellishments for this round of birthday brews.

I am working on a masculine theme class for the month of June and this card will be added to the mix for sure!  I always love a great manly stamp set!

I hope your weekend is off to a great start and you find some time to get crafty!

Framed Father's Day - #TGIFC370

Happy Friday and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges Technique Challenge!  This week we are framing our projects and I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

With Father's Day just around the corner, this was the perfect opportunity to check one off the list.  The He's The Man Suite has all you need for all the guys in your life.  From BBQ to tools, cars to camping, this suite has you covered!

With 2 full sheets of die-cut images, cards come together in a hurry! The only stamping on this card is the Happy Father's Day sentiment...how easy is that?!?  I framed the card using the Stitched Rectangles with the fun BBQ DSP pattern as the background.

There are certainly a lot of dad's I know who this card would be perfect for.  Who will it go to?!?!

I hope you'll join along in this weeks Technique fun!

Let Your Dreams Set Sail

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage blog hop! Hop along and see all of the amazing creations we have for you this week!

The Crafty Carrot Collective is featuring their masculine tutorials this month and Let's Set Sail is one of the stamp sets selected by the fabulous Cindy Schuester.  Cindy shared her sneak peek and her tutorial using this stamp set, which were the inspiration for my card.

I created the sky and sea background with the "water" stamp, using Pool Party and Starry Sky. The sailboat sails were stamped in Crushed Curry and Sweet Sorbet and perfectly punched out with the Sailboat Builder Punch.  These bright colors are just full of summer vibes!

A few crumpled up strips of crumb cake added a little extra texture, along with the Timber 3D embossing folder.  Some Starry Sky Bakers Twine and a little Resin Star Embellishment were the perfect final touches!  With graduation season upon us, I thought this sentiment would be perfect!

Keep on hopping...forward or backward.  Either way you go, just make sure you hop all the way through!

Clean and Simple Hues

Hello stampers!  The Control Freaks are back this month and we are sharing some clean and simple creations with all of you!  You may just be starting the hop or you may have come from the creative Cindy Elam...either way, be sure to make your way  all the way through!

If you've been following along with me this week, you'll remember that I shared a card earlier in the week with these beautiful Hues of Happiness blooms. I fussy cut nearly an entire page of these flowers and put them to good use for today's projects.

First off we have shades of Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo...

...followed by shades of Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody.

Next up are Costal Cabana and Pool Party...

...followed by Gorgeous Grape and Fresh Freesia.

Each card was embellished with coordinating Glossy Dots and a touch of texture from my favorite Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.

I chose a few of my favorite Peaceful Moments sentiments, which were stamped in Memento then, you guess it...fussy cut!

It's always so refreshing to create something clean and simple!

Next up is my stamping BFF Wendy Weixler.  You won't want to miss her wonderful creation!

Hues of Happiness

Welcome to an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge!  This sketch just so happens to be designed by me. I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

I was a little too late in adding the Hues of Happiness Suite to my cart when I submitted my last order, but was I was still able to snag the beautiful Hues of Happiness DSP.  I put my paper snips to work cutting out several beautiful blooms from the DSP to arrange over the banner piece of the sketch.

Another piece of DSP from the pack added just a little bit more color and the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder added just the right amount of texture to the Night of Navy panel.

I chose the Peaceful Moments stamp set for a sentiment full of happy wishes and cut it out with the coordinating Painted Labels Dies. I love pulling out some older stamp sets to use with new products!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to check back in a few days to see a couple more creations with the rest of the beautiful blooms I cut out.

Freshly Made Wishes for the Future

Happy Sunday stampers!  Thanks to another rainy Saturday and cancelled baseball games, I had more stamping time this weekend...yay!

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge gave me just the inspiration I needed for the card I am sharing today.  We have several friends getting married over the summer, so I'm getting a jump start on some cards.  Framed Occasions, once again, rose to the occasion with the perfect sentiment!

Using a fun color combo of Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, So Saffron and Petal Pink, I stamped some pretty little blooms, springs and leaves.  I put my favorite pair of snips to work, fussing cutting each piece.

Beautiful Shapes dies helped to create a space for the sweet sentiment, stamped in Orchid Oasis.  A flagged piece of Petal Pink DSP from Design a Daydream and a strip of Orchid Oasis In Color DSP brought everything together.  I dusted off my Simply Scored Scoring tool to add a few score lines in the top and bottom corners of the card.  I always forget how much a simple score line can add to a card!

We're off to church, but I'm hoping to sneak in a bit more stamping time this afternoon.  I have so many ideas floating around in my head with all of the fun new products I have added to my craft room!

Grand Slam Friday

Hello and happy Friday!  It's time for an all new TGIF Challenges and we have a great sketch for you to play along with this week!

This time of year, all my family knows is BASEBALL! My youngest is the only one still playing, but he keeps us plenty busy with games and practices.  And the fact that my hubby is the league president and I am the concession stand manager means we pretty much live at the ball fields.  It makes for busy weeks, but we love it!

Given our love for baseball, the Hey Sports Fan suite was a MUST HAVE for me!

I pulled in several patterns of the Hey Sports Fan DSP for today's sketch challenge.  There is a VERY good chance I may have stocked up on a few extra packs of this DSP!  The Grand Slam sentiment was stamped in Poppy Parade to create a perfect banner for any sports fan.

A couple pennants were die cut, using the Sports Events dies, along with a few Stylish Shapes baseballs.  And you can't have a baseball card without a few stars.  A  Night of Navy Stitched Stars (sadly retired) and a few Resin Stars knocked this card out of the ball park!

If you have any baseball fans in your life, be sure to scoop this suite up before the end of June.  It's one that I will hang on to for sure!

Be sure to check out the rest of our amazing design team creations and join along in the fun with your own creation!

I hope you all have a Grand Slam Friday!

Let's Get Together Soon

Hello stampers!  I hope you have all had a great week so far!  I actually had the opportunity to get some early morning stamping time in this week and just had to play along with the latest Global Design Challenge Sketch.

This months sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to play with some of the cheerful patterns of the Tea Boutique DSP.  This is seriously the cutest DSP!!!

I cut 4 of my favorite patterns into strips, topping them off with yet another DSP pattern in a sunny Crushed Curry.  This circle of sunshine was the perfect backdrop for a delicate little teacup, cut from another beautiful DSP pattern.  This little pack of paper is FULL of so much happiness!

A few tiny hearts were die cut (yes, from yet another adorable pattern!) and the tiniest little tea bag was stamped in Petal Pink and die cut to rest on the outside of the cup.  A sweet little sentiment was stamped in the beautiful new Starry Sky ink.  These sweet patterns of DSP didn't need any extra embellishments...they steal the show all on their own.

I used the Poppy Parade Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes for the card base.  Who doesn't love a card with a matching envelope?!?

If you haven't had the chance to get your hands on the Tea Boutique suite yet, be sure to add it to your next order.   You are sure to love it!

Have a terrific Thursday!

Welcome to another marvelous Monday Montage!  It's always a treat to hop with all of these talented ladies!

I'm still working my way through my box of new product and finally got to ink up Bottled Happiness.  I pulled out my trusty Stamparatus to get these cheerful blooms perfectly lined up for a beautiful bouquet of happiness.

I used my favorite new green, Parakeet Party, for the leaves.  I just love how bright and cheerful this color is!  Next I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink, then went back and used my Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Write Marker to add a little pop of purple to the bouquet.

I've been on a Coastal Cabana kick lately, so of course that is the color I reached for for the vase.  I fussy cut the vase, wrapped a little Linen Thread bow around the top and popped it up with a few Dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped in Blackberry Bliss and...you guessed it...fussy cut!

A square of Petal Pink was embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder for a little added texture.  Everything was layered on a Costal Cabana card base and a few little Rhinestone Basic Jewels finished the card off.

I was blessed with the gift of time this weekend, thanks to a day of canceled baseball games.  I'll be honest...I have been so busy and my office was so messy due to lack of time to really clean it, I was at the point where creating cards was not bringing me any joy.  I knew something had to change because I need those moments of creative joy to fill my cup back up.  My heart was "Overflowing with Happiness" to have the time to REALLY clean my office, then spend time creating.  I found my joy again!

Hop on over to the next stop or hop on back if you want...the choice is yours!

Just Because Ranunculus

Welcome to an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge.  I don't know about you, but these beautiful images and colors are just what I need!  We have had some grey, rainy days lately and I am ready for some blue skies!

In addition to my paper crafting hobby, I also have a flower garden hobby.  I love working out in my garden from spring until fall, planting seeds and watching them fill my yard with beautiful color.  Sadly, my ranunculus didn't want to grow this spring.  Thankfully I was able to create some with paper, ink and stamps!

I made this card a few days ago, not thinking about the fact that a few of the products I used are retired as of today.  Do you forgive me?!?!
I stamped the ranunculus in Memento, coloring the beautiful blooms in shades of Petal Pink and Polished Pink, along with some Granny Apple Green leaves.  Some Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green foliage were tucked in behind, along with  just a hint of gold from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack and some Brushed Brass Butterflies..

I love the brick pattern Bloom Where You're Planted DSP.  This is one pack of paper that I wish was sticking around.  There is a good chance that I have a good stash of this to get me through for a while.  I do love my house plants too!

I hope you'll join along in this Inspiring Challenge.  We always love to see what everyone creates!

Happy Stamping
