Cozy Christmas Circles ~ #TGIFC288

Hooray!  It's Designer Take Over at TGIF Challenges with Tammy Wilson of Stamps, Paper, Scissors and we are going in circles!

I'm pretty sure my circle dies are my most used, so this challenge was right up my alley!

It has been FREEZING cold here, which left me searching for all things warm and cozy this week.  That included all things in my craft room too!  The Warm Hugs Bundle was just what I needed to cozy up and get warm!

These adorable little mugs, candy canes and Christmas Trees are just too cute!  So cute, in fact, that I decided to make a little wreath with them to go around the "Eat, Drink And Be Cozy" sentiment.  I love this festive circle of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper too!

There are lots of cozy textures in this card too...The Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders and Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing folder work so well together!  I wrapped all of the circles up with a bit of the Real Red Braided Linen Trim.  I love this stuff!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Heartwarming Hugs DSP
Ink ~ Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Memento
Stamp Set ~ Warm Hugs
Other Supplies ~ Warm Wraps Dies, Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders, Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder, Real Red Braided Linen Thread

Are you ready to create in circles with us this week?  We always love to see what you create!

Flourishing Fall Thank You ~ #HSSCC351

Happy Tuesday stampers!  I don't know about you, but my Monday flew by...and I'm not complaining!  I'm happy it's Tuesday and time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.  I just love these warm colors...perfect for fall!

I have been using Forever Fern for just about every occasion lately, so why not a thank you card too?  These colors are a little different than those used in the Forever Greenery Suite, but I think you could use just about any color with these beautiful images!

I created my own patterned paper, stamping some of the different leaves and seed pods in the various colors of tis challenge, then stamped a few to cut out with the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies.

I added a Gold Hoop Embellishment for the tiniest bit of bling and a pretty Bumblebee 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon.  The card was finished off with a simple Thank You sentiment from Beautiful Autumn, cutting it out with my favorite Tasteful Labels Dies.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Bumblebee, Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Sets ~ Forever Fern, Beautiful Autumn
Other Supplies ~ Subtle Embossing Folder, Forever Flourishing Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies, Bumblebee 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon, Gold Hoop Embellishment

I hope you will join in and create along with us in the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.  We always love to see what you create!

Happy Haunting ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

EEEK!  Halloween is now officially less than a week away!  Halloween is usually one of my favorite holidays to decorate and create for, but I just haven't been able to muster up much holiday spirit this year.  But, after getting a costume all lined up for my youngest and myself and making some quiet Halloween plans with some close friends, I'm feeling a bit more of that Halloween spirt!
Stampin' Up! had some really cute Halloween/Fall DSP a few years ago that had some Bermuda Bay mixed in with some of the more traditional Halloween colors and it was my FAVORITE!  I inked up the spider web from Banner Year in some of those fun colors and added a few Stitched Shape circles in the same colors.

And since every spider web needs a creepy, crawly spider, I added this cute little guy from the Little Treat Box Dies.  I love the detail that this spider has!  I pulled some of the silver from the Misty Moonlight/silver Bakers Twine to give the spider a little something to climb down.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Ink ~ Memento, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Banner Year
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Dies, Little Treat Box Dies, White Embossing Powder, Misty Moonlight/silver Baker's Twine

Are you ready for Halloween?!?  What are your plans for this year? Whatever you may be doing, I hope it is happy and safe!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now, on to the next stop on the hop!

Happy Stamping!

Forever Grateful ~ Control Freaks Blog Hop

Welcome to an all new Control Freaks Blog Hop!  This month we are showing and sharing our gratitude with all of you.
You may just be joining the hop or you may have gotten here from Swimming With Stamps by Tami Hewlett.  She is such an inspiration and her project was beautiful!

I have made several cards with the beautiful Gilded Autumn Suite and I am sure I will make several more before the season is over.  I absolutely LOVE the warm fall colors in the nature inspired Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP.  The bits of copper and gold foil are beautiful and the coordinating Autumn Punch Pack make it even better!
I stamped the gold and copper leaves in acorns in shades of Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Mint Macaron before punching them out.  These cute little fall pieces were the perfect addition to the beautiful sentiment and tiny falling leaves.
I wrapped this card up with some of the Mint Macaron Basket Weave Ribbon, Linen Thread and a cute little Acorn Trinket.  This heartfelt creation will be sent off soon to a dear friend!

Next up is a card I created for my upcoming card class next month.  I paired up the Autumn Greetings Bundle with the Plaid Tidings DSP for a card full of thanks and gratefulness!
I stamped the large floral image from Autumn Greeting tone on tone in Crumb Cake, then added some festive die-cut pumpkins and wheat ears to coordinate with pretty colors in the Plaid Tidings DSP.  A little bit of texture was added to the cardbase with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and just a little bling from the Gilded Gems.  The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White...I love how the sentiment stands out!

The hop doesn't stop here!  Next up is the marvelously talented Melissa Davies of Rubber FUNatics.  You don't want to  miss what she has to share this month!  Thanks for hopping with us! We are forever grateful for all of you!

Happy Stamping!

Farmhouse Thanks ~ TGIFC#286

Hooray...we made it to Friday!

Did you know that today is Boss's Day?!?!  This is a day that I ALWAYS make sure I have on my work calendar EVERY year so I don't miss it!  You still have time to show your boss just how much you appreciate all that they do!

This weeks TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge was just what I needed to create a Farmers Market/Farmhouse Thanks card for my boss.
There is nothing I love more at our local farmers market than fresh, homegrown flowers.  Sadly, thanks to COVID-19, our local Farmer's Market was pretty quiet this year.  Thankfully I had my own cutting garden full of beautiful flowers to create my own bouquets.
Pallet Thoughts helped to create the perfect background for some beautiful Country Home fall flowers.  The colors I chose were inspired by flowers in my garden that are still blooming away!
I am always drawn to the antique/farmhouse pitchers and vases for my flowers.  I created a "rusty" look to the pitcher by adding a bit of Cajun Craze to the Bermuda Bay.  The flowers were colored in shades of Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Cajun Craze, So Saffron, Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake.

I added a bit more color by layering some warm Tasteful Labels Die-cut shapes in coordinating colored cardstock.  A couple of folded edges and a few staples helped to finish off this Farmers Market inspired card, just in time for Boss's Day!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Smoky Slate, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Crazy, Granny Apple Green, Seaside Spray, Whisper White, Velum
Ink ~ Smoky Slate, VersaMark, Memento, Stampin' Blends: Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Cajun Craze, So Saffron, Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake
Stamp Sets ~  Country Home, Pallet Thoughts
Other Supplies ~ Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder, Tasteful Labels Dies

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday!  And if you are a boss...either in your workplace or in your house...THANK YOU for all that you do!

Happy Stamping!

Spooky Corners

I can not remember the last time I came home from work and had time to make a card!  My hubby is on vacation right now and has been awesome about helping out with things around the house, leaving a lot less for me to have to worry about in the afternoons/evenings.  I think I'll keep him!

Since it was Wednesday, I had to check out the latest Freshly Made Sketches card sketch and this weeks did not disappoint!

I still have a few Halloween cards to make so I pulled out the Festive Corners stamp set and got to work.  I love the spider web!  I created a fun little spider web frame for the SPOOKY sentiment and added a couple shimmery spiders.

These spooky spiders and webs were layered on a piece of Whisper White cardstock embossed with the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder, then layered on the beautiful spider-webby piece of Magic in This Night DSP.  I love the simplicity of the black and white!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (retired)
Ink ~ Memento, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Festive Corners
Other Supplies ~ Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder, Little Treat Box Dies

It is conference-week for my kiddos, which means no school on Thursday or Friday.  I am looking forward to taking Friday off and hopefully doing something fun with them before my hubby and the twins head out for deer camp.

Happy Stamping!

Forever Fern Christmas ~ HSSSC#350

Happy Tuesday stampin' friends!  We are {almost} already halfway through the month...I can't believe it!  This Tuesday brings an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge and it's a fun tall and skinny card.  I hope you'll join along in the fun with us!

I recently purchased the Forever Greenery Suite and have had a Christmas card in mind ever since I received it.  Today's sketch was the perfect opportunity!

I stamped a few random leaves in Shaded Spruce on a strip of Whisper White.  I then layered these on top of a piece of Shaded Spruce, on top of a Real Red card base.  The Gold Hoop Embellishments went along perfectly with the sketch!  I added a few sprigs of greenery and some cheerful red behind the hoop, then added some stamped and die cut leaves and "berries" in shades of Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock and Real Red.

I finished the card off with some of the gold Forever Greenery Trim and a heat embossed {and fussy cut} sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Whisper White
Ink ~ VersaMark, Real Red, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce
Stamp Sets ~ Forever Fern, Perfectly Plaid
Other Supplies ~ Gold Hoops Embellishments, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, Forever Flourishing Dies, White Embossing Powder

Can I let you in on a little secret?!?  This is my first tall and skinny card!  I've seen so many fun cards made in this format, so I'm not sure what took me so long to jump in.  I love how cute these are and are perfect for little stocking stuffer cards!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Christmas with my Gnomies ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!
We had a wet and windy weekend, which meant LOTS of time in my craft room!  I spent most of the day on Saturday creating Halloween cards for a special order, so I was ready to switch gears to Christmas.  I felt like a little color therapy was in order, so Gnome for the Holidays was the perfect set!
Their little gnome tree home is super cute and festive with the little Christmas lights.  I kept this first card pretty simple.  Just the tree house and a couple of {fussy cut} gnomes and a quick heat embossed sentiment.  The Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder went together perfectly with the tree house! I used a rainbow of Stampin' Blends to color Mr. and Mrs. Gnome and their little home.

For my next card, I brought in the adorable Trimming the Town DSP.  This is my favorite DSP in the 2020 Mini Catalog!  Again I fussy cut the gnomes, but just their faces this time.  I added some fun frames for each one using the scalloped stitched circle in from the Little Treat Box Dies.  I love to fussy cut, but skills were not quite good enough to cut the little shapes at the end of each gnome hat, but the All the Trimmings Embellishments fixed that problem!  I added a few Snowflake Adhesive-Backed Embellishments and a heat embossed sentiment to complete the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now, on to the next stop on the hop!

Happy Stamping!

Tasteful Touches Birthday Wishes

Happy Friday friends!
I had grand plans of sharing this post at the beginning of the week, as this was one of the cards I made in honor of World Card Making Day.  BUT....as you can tell, that didn't happen!  Life goes on, right?!?!
This card was a special request from one of my long time customers.  Her niece is turning 30 this month and she wanted a special card for her.  I love getting special requests!
My friend requested purple flowers for her niece's card and the beautiful flower from the Tasteful Touches stamp set was just perfect for a fall flower birthday card.  I stamped two flowers in Memento then colored them with Blackberry Bliss and a little touch of Mango Melody.  I fussy cut the flowers, layering them with a few In Good Taste Elements and a Tasteful Label stitched sunburst peeking out.  Any special request card requires a special sentiment as well.  Peaceful Moments is my latest go-to for beautiful birthday sentiments!
Don't you just love the textures in the In Good Taste DSP?  This is one of my favorite packages of Designer Series Paper!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, In Good Taste DSP
Ink ~ Blackberry Bliss, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Blackberry Bliss, Mango Melody
Stamp Sets ~ Tasteful Touches, Peaceful Moments
Other Supplies ~ In Good Taste Elements, Tasteful Labels

While I admit my laziness in blog posting, I am good about keeping up with my scheduled posts throughout each month.  Check back soon for the upcoming Monday Montage Blog Hop!  And who knows...I may even surprise you with another post over the weekend.

Have a FANTASTIC Friday!

Happy Stamping!

Flourishing Friendship ~ #TGIFC284

Hi friends!  We did it...we made it though another week and your reward is an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!
When I first saw these colors, my mind instantly went to Halloween.  But I decided to think outside of the box and had some creative fun with the Forever Fern stamp set.  I created my own DSP by stamping a variety of leaves and blooms in Memento on Whisper White cardstock. I love how beautiful and elegant this looks

I wasn't sure about stamping the same leaves and blooms in Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin pie, but I went for it and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked them.  I added a small panel of Basic Black, which I embossed with the cute little Greenery Embossing Folder to give it just the right amount of texture.
The Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper gave the card the little bit of bling that I was looking for and created the perfect backdrop for the sentiment embossed in white on Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
So....did I think WAY to outside of the box with these colors?!?!  I'd love to hear what you think!  It's always fun for me to push myself out of my comfort zone, even when I'm making cards!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Whisper White, Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper
Ink ~ Memento, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie
Stamp Set ~ Forever Fern
Other Supplies ~ Greenery Embossing Folders, White Embossing Powder, Stitched Shapes Dies

I hope you have great plans ahead of you for the weekend!

Happy Stamping!
