Merry Misteltoe Christmas in July ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

I am a summer-lovin'-pool-goin'-kind-of-girl, but I have a feeling I'm going to be wishing for winter weather come the middle of the week.  The dear ol' weatherman is predicting our temps to be near 110 degrees...that's a bit to hot for me!   I'm pretty sure my boys and I will be living at the pool this week!

While we are sweltering in the heat, I will be happy sitting in my air-conditioned house making some Christmas cards!  Because you know Christmas is now less than 5 months away and you can never start too early on your Christmas cards, right?!?  I'm starting things off with today's card, using the cute Merry Mistletoe stamp set from the Annual Catalog.  But, I can't wait to place my Holiday Catalog pre-order on Tuesday!!!  More Christmas goodness to come!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Suede, Whisper White, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Be Merry DSP
Ink ~ Soft Suede, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Merry Mistletoe
Other Supplies ~ 1/4" Double Stitched Cherry Cobbler Ribbon, Metallic Enamel Shapes, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Pretty Pines Thinlits, Softy Falling Embossing Folder

Who else is starting their Christmas cards already?!?!

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Happy Stamping!

High Tide or Low Tide ~ HSS Inspiration Challenge # 269

Happy Tuesday stampin' friends!  I hope everyone is surviving the heatwave that seems to be making it's way across the US!

My family is enjoying a break from the heat while we vacation at the Oregon Coast.  It's been a very nice 70 degrees here the past few days, while it's 100+ at home.  I told my husband I'm not going home!

Today's Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge is rather fitting for me this week!  While the water is not nearly as warm as I would like it to be, the sun and the same are just right for me!

I created my own little seascape with the High Tide stamp set and some simple sponging to create a pretty sunset over the ocean.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Ink ~ Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, Powder Pink, Calypso Coral, Basic Black
Stamp Set ~ High Tide, Hardwood
Other Supplies ~ Burlap Ribbon, Seasonal Layers Thinlits

Being at the beach is my happy place!  I look forward to coming here every summer and considered it an extra win when we get to come more than once a year!

Be sure to check out the rest of the beautiful design team creations and join along in the fun!

Happy Stamping!

Just Breathe ~ Monday Montage 96

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

Training at my new job ended a little over a week ago and I am happily enjoying summer break with my kiddos!  My family all adjusted so well to my new work schedule and we are ALL loving my new job!  The person I was hired to replace retired after many years with the school district and I couldn't be more happy for her.  She was looking forward to taking a trip to the Oregon Coast and not having to worry about coming back anytime soon.  I can't wait for that day myself!  I am very grateful for the time we had together to train and hope I can go back to work in August and be able to do a good job of filling her shoes.

The card I am sharing today is the card I made for Judy, thanking her for sharing her years of wisdom with me.  I love this sentiment and it seems perfect for a retirement card!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White
Ink ~ Smoky Slate, Real Red, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Old Olive
Stamp Set ~ High Tide, Colorful Seasons
Other Supplies ~ Seasonal Layers Thinlits

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!
