Hip Hip Hooray!

TGIF stamping friends!!!
It's been another busy week with an even busier weekend ahead!!  The hubby and I are headed to Spokane for the weekend to run in the 40th Annual Bloomsday 12K run.  This is one of my favorite runs in our area and something I look forward to every year.  The only downfall is that I won't be getting much crafting done...but I'll survive :)
I haven't had a lot of time to blog lately...outside of work, we are living at the baseball field.  By the time we all get home and wrap up the end of day, all I want to do is crawl in to bed!  But, I have still been doing some stamping each morning, which is the only thing that saves my sanity!
This was a quick and simple card that I put together for a friend who requested a birthday card in Miami Dolphin's colors.  The Party Pop-Up Thinlits are so much fun and make for some pretty awesome birthday cards!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Schoolhouse DSP, Silver Glimmer Paper
Ink ~ Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango
Stamp Set ~ Party With Cake
Other Supplies ~ Party Punch Pack, Party Pop-Up Thinlits, Silver Metallic Thread, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

I'm super happy this stamp set and thinlits are carrying over!

I'm off to get in a little more stamping before my work day kicks off!  There will be no stamping tonight because we'll guessed a baseball game!

Happy Friday!

Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day Stampers!
Today we celebrate the 46th anniversary of the very first Earth Day.  In 1970 this day was established, creating a movement to raise awareness and make efforts to protect the Earth.
As a child, I remember planting trees at my elementary school every Earth Day.  I'm thinking today may be a good day to pass that tradition on to my kiddos!
What will YOU do to make the Earth a better place today?
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Real Red
Ink ~ Basic Black, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Stamp Set ~ Going Global, Alphabet Rotary Stamp
Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Itty Bitty Accents Punch, World Traveler Embossing Folder
I am really going to miss the Going Global suite!  This has been one of my favorites in this years Occasions Catalog!
But, as we mourn the loss of so many of our favorite retiring items, we can always find happiness in knowing that there are some AMAZING new products coming our way!
Happy Earth Day and Happy Stamping!

Choose Happy ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the are sure to love them all!

So many of my stamping friends spent the past few days in SLC at the OnStage event, getting sneak peeks at the SHINY NEW (and soon to be released) 2016-2017 Catalog.  I missed seeing all of them SO MUCH, but I still had a little fun of my own!  I took a trip to my favorite vacation spot in Pacific City OR...all by myself!  No kids, no hubby, no work...just me, my stamps, the beach and, of course, my puppy Ellie.
Anyone who has ever traveled with me is well aware that I do not travel without stamping supplies of some sort.  I've had 3 kits sitting in my craft room for months, so I packed them up and brought them with me to put together.  Enjoy The Little Things Project Kit was my favorite and really made me think about my life and what was really important.  All of the sentiments spoke to me and really made me realize that if you "Choose Happy" everything else will fall in to place and life will be good!
This little clipboard is just too cute and all of the interchangeable cards are the best.  From holiday greetings and birthday celebrations to inspiring and motivating sentiments, this home d├ęcor item will be up in my house all year round!

Supplies Used:
Enjoy The Little Things Project Kit
Ink ~ Crushed Curry, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaroon, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Tangelo Twist, Watermelon Wonder
Stamp Set ~ Enjoy the Little Things

This kit will soon be gone and I'm hoping to squeeze in a girls night out soon to make these with some of the fire wives!
Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Friday, You are Tea-riffic!

Never have I been so happy for Friday to finally be here!!!
It was spring break for my kiddos, my youngest was pukey-sick up until yesterday and my work days were longer than long!  But I made it through the week and am just a few days away from a rewarding trip to the beach...yes!
Due to my work schedule this week, my ink and stamps have been neglected, but I did manage to squeeze in a little time early this morning to make this cute card.  I've had the Have a Cuppa suite for quite awhile now, but really haven't taken the time to create with it.  What was I waiting for?!?!  Everything in this suite is to cute for words!  And the fun colors in the DSP had me pulling out my VERY neglected Wisteria Wonder cardstock and candy dots!
Speaking of candy dots, be sure to see some other fun creations with them over at SSINK today.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Have a Cuppa DSP Stack
Ink ~ Pool Party, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Wisteria Wonder
Stamp Set ~ A Nice Cuppa
Other Supplies ~ Cups & Kettle Framelits, 2-1/2" Circle Punnch, Have a Cuppa Embellishments, Pool Party Glitter Ribbon
I usually only drink hot tea when I'm feeling a little under the weather, but this cute set has me dreaming of ice cold sweet tea this summer!
Here's to a very happy Friday and a tea-riffic weekend!
