Merry Bold + Bright Monday

The Monday Montage design team is back with another blog hop!  This talented group of designers are sure to inspired hop along and don't miss a single stop!

I just returned from 3 amazing days at BackStage in Las Vegas with a full heart and so many great ideas!  Spending time with my Stampin' Up! family is always so good for the soul!  Our first night in Las Vegas was dedicated to swapping with fellow demonstrators and I am sharing my swap with you today.

I LOVE bright and cheerful colors for Christmas!  The Merry Bold & Bright DSP immediately caught my attention and quickly found it's way to my craft room.  I paired these fun colors and images up with the Sending Cheer bundle to sending some bright and bold Christmas cheer!

I stamped the cute polkadot packages in Lemon Lime Twist and Poppy Parade, topping them with bows of the opposite colors.  I love these so much!
I brought in the More Wishes stamp set to add Christmas to the sentiment.  This card is full of so much colorful cheer...perfect for the upcoming holiday season!

I was sad to see our time at BackStage come to an end, but it was so much seeing old friends and meeting new friends face to face.  It was so great meeting our very own Emily of EMK Creations!

We have another fun Stampin' Up! event in Houston TX is coming in March 2024.  I can't wait!  You could join in the fun as well...ask me how!

Freshly Made With Love

I am so super excited to join the Freshly Made Sketches team as a guest designer for their 600th challenge!  This lovely group of designers have inspired me for many years and this is such an honor!

I love a clean-lined sketch that is easy to follow along with and this weeks sketch did not disappoint!

I pulled some of my favorite Delightfully Eclectic DSP patterns for this sketch.  I love the Pretty Peacock pattern with hearts, especially with the softer Petal Pink patterns.  I fussy cut the daisy and die-cut a couple other patterns for an extra pop of color.

Inspired by the Celebrate With Tags layout on page 45 of the Annual Catalog, I added a few stamped hearts and the simply adorable "with love" sentiment.  The catalogs are always full of creative inspiration to case in one way or another!

I hope you will join along in this milestone challenge!  It's always so much fun to see the gallery full of so many wonderful creations!

Gorgeously Earthen Colors

Hello, hello stampers!  I'm back again today to share my project for the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.  I love how rich and earthy these colors are!  We still have a few weeks of summer left, but these colors sure feel like fall!

While I love these colors, they are not typically ones that I use often, so I loved the challenge to work with them!  I pulled a piece of the beautiful Earthen Elegance DSP and paired it up with the Gorgeously Made gorgeous!

I stamped the background in shades of Misty Moonlight and Pecan Pie, along with a few Pecan Pie splatters. I stamped the foliage in Copper Clay and Pecan Pie and put my paper snips to work, cutting each one out.  These were layered on the die cut Misty Moonlight leaves and wrapped up with a Linen Thread bow with a simple little hello greeting cut using the cutest little label from the new Sending Cheer dies.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Merriest (Monday) Trees

It's Monday and that means it's time for another Merry Monday creation!  My goal is to create a Christmas card every Monday between now and the beginning of December, with a few more in between, in an effort to have a variety of cards to send out this Christmas.  Wish me luck!

I always love bright and bold colors for Christmas.  How about you?  Do you like bright and bold or are you more drawn to the traditional Christmas colors?  The Merry Bold & Bright DSP caught my eye right away and it was so much fun paired up with the Merriest Trees Bundle.
Inspired by the latest Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, I had some fun!  It's been a while since I used any of my Melon Mambo paper and I love it with Shaded Spruce!

How cute is this tree stand and the little packages to go beneath the tree?  So festive and FUN!  And these new Iridescent Adhesive Back Discs...they are amazing!

Wishing you the Merriest August!

Birthday Walk in the Forest

One of my favorite things about the holiday mini catalogs each year is finding something fun to create for my husband's birthday. He is an avid hunter and there is always a beautiful new stamp set with deer, elk, moose or bear.
This year it happened to be paper that was the winner for his birthday card!  The brown bear in the A Walk in the Forest DSP and the pine trees helped to create the perfect card!  And it was super quick thanks to the coordinating Beary Cute Punch and Merriest Trees dies.

I'm pretty sure I've used the Wildlife Wonder birthday sentiment a time or two for his birthday card, but it's just the perfect fit!

Unfortunately, we won't be spending the day with my hubby as he is out fighting one of the many wildfires in our state.  Join me in wishing him a Happy Birthday and pray for the safety of his strike team and all of the other firefighters who are putting in endless hours to extinguish these awful fires.  Prayers also go out to those who have lost homes, barns, furry friends and so much more...

Grateful Cottage Wreath

Happy Friday stampers and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges!  This week we a  focusing on Thank You cards. And when you have a graphic this beautiful, you can use it as inspiration as well!

I loved the graphic and used it for inspiration for my card, pulling out Cottage Wreaths for the first time in a while.  White on white make for some of the most beautiful cards, especially when you add in just a pop of color.  I stamped the leaves in Lost Lagoon, added a few Petal Pink Sentimental Park dies flowers and a bold Coastal Cabana sentiment.

A simple Linen Thread bow and few Iridescent Pearls for the center of the flowers were the finishing touches for a card filled with gratefulness.

Today wraps up my first week back to work after my summer break and I am struggling to find my groove again!  Hopefully over the next couple of weeks, I will get back into a routine!

Happy Stamping!

Beary Merry Monday Montage

Welcome to the latest Monday Montage Blog Hop!  My September-December 2023 Mini Catalog pre-order arrive just in time for a Merry Monday card.  It's never too early to start on Christmas cards, right?!?

The Beary Christmas suite was at the very top of my list when I first looked through the catalog. I love everything about this suite...the stamped images, the coordinating punch, the adorable DSP in fun wintery colors, the glittery sequins...the list goes on and on!

I created a cute fun fold to showcase some of the Beary Christmas DSP.  That cute little polar bear also coordinates with the Beary Cute punch, which makes this suite even better!  And there are so many other cute critters and trees just begging to be fussy cut! A baby bear and Arctic Fox joined the polar bear...because Christmas is better Together!

I embossed the center piece of Balmy Blue with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and added a few Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins for some additional wintery texture and glimmer.

What is your favorite suite, bundle or stamp set in the Mini Catalog?  I can't wait to see all of the upcoming creations from everyone!

Check out what the rest of our design team has in store for you this week.  Up next is Cathy of Sugar Shack Designs or you can hop on back to Julie of Creating on the Run.

Thanks for hopping along with us this week!

All Kinds of Amazing

Ready or not, it's back to school time. I am savoring every last minute of my summer break before I return to work on Monday.  Boo!  Ready or not, it's time to kick off a new school year and this weeks TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge was a perfect for a 1st day of school card.

If you haven't guessed by all of my latest creations, Delightfully Eclectic DSP is my favorite pack of paper!  The notebook pattern is so much fun, especially with the Gorgeously Made notebook edge die.

I used 4 different stamp sets for all of the images...can you figure out which ones?  Everyday Thanks for the pencil, Bird's Eye Vies for the books, Sweetest Cherries for the apple and Phrases for All for the sentiment.  In addition to the Gorgeously Made dies, I used Nested Essentials, Stylish Shapes and Beautiful Balloons dies as well.  This, my friends, is what us stampers like to call the $100 card!  If you have them, use them is my motto!

Whether you have already stared or will soon be headed back to school, here's to an amazing 2023-2024 school year!

Never Grow Up

Hello friends and welcome to the August edition of Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop!  I am beyond excited to join this talented group of stampers from all around the world!

This month's theme is Never Grow Up, which seems very fitting for me as my oldest boys are preparing to enter their senior year of high school and my youngest is entering middle school.  I'm not quite ready for these big milestones and am wishing they would never grow up!

As a mom of 3 boys, our house was always full of trucks, trucks and more trucks.  I couldn't resist the super cute Construction Zone stamp set, especially since it is full of the cutest images to color!

I colored the cement truck, crane and construction worker in a rainbow of bright colors. Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce and Azure Afternoon...all colors that remind me of childhood.  Each image was fussy cut and popped up on a fun Birthday Zone background, complete with construction cones and gifts. You can't have construction vehicles without diamond plate, right?  The Metal Plate 3D embossing folder was the perfect way to add some texture!

Next up is the amazing Lori Willcox!

If you get lost along the way, here is a list of all of the links for this month to help keep you on track:

Sweet Summer Treats

I'm not ready for summer to end and the Hand Stamped Sentiments isn't either!  We are holding on to the last bit of summer with a sweet and refreshing Inspiration Challenge for you to play along with this week!

I was inspired by the ice cream photo and had some fun creating my own Lemon Lolly ice cream cones!  I stamped the scoops of ice cream from Share a Milkshake in Lemon Lolly onto a Pecan Pie cone with the cutest little So Refreshing lemon tucked into each scoop.

I created my own DSP by stamping the lemons from So Refreshing in Lemon Lolly with Granny Apple Green leaves. So cute!  The only thing left was a sweet sentiment stamped in Granny Apple Green.  Sweet, simple and so refreshing!

I hope you'll join along in the fun and share what you were inspired to create.

Time for a Celebration

We made it to Friday and we all know what that means...time for an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!

This is such a cheerful color combo that was meant for a celebration!  The Beautiful Balloons Bundle was perfect for this color challenge!

I stamped the balloons in Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist and Bubble Bath, cutting them out with the coordinating dies.  I added a soft Bubble Bath background with the Blending Brush, along with a few splatters with the Stampin' Write Marker.

I always love white on white, but this card needed a little more color.  Some simple strips of paper to go along with the color challenge gave just the right amount of extra color!

I hope you'll join along in our colorful fun this week!

Gorgeously Made Meets Earthen Elegance

When Gorgeously Made bundle meets Earthen Elegance DSP you end up with a gorgeously earthen card filled with texture and warm, earthy colors!

Inspiration for this card came from this weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge. Boho Blue, Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path...all new In Colors and they are so good together!
You might also notice a few Fresh as a Daisy DSP patterns mixed in.  I love it when you can make so many of the amazing products work together!  I die cut two of the Gorgeously Made foliage pieces from Boho Blue and Wild Wheat, tucking a little tattered notebook piece stamped with various images in all of the colors.

A simple Thank You sentiment, a bit of the Wild Wheat Textured Ribbon and a few Pebbled Path In Color Dots were the perfect final touches.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with another fun color challenge...stay tuned!
