Freshly Made With Love

I am so super excited to join the Freshly Made Sketches team as a guest designer for their 600th challenge!  This lovely group of designers have inspired me for many years and this is such an honor!

I love a clean-lined sketch that is easy to follow along with and this weeks sketch did not disappoint!

I pulled some of my favorite Delightfully Eclectic DSP patterns for this sketch.  I love the Pretty Peacock pattern with hearts, especially with the softer Petal Pink patterns.  I fussy cut the daisy and die-cut a couple other patterns for an extra pop of color.

Inspired by the Celebrate With Tags layout on page 45 of the Annual Catalog, I added a few stamped hearts and the simply adorable "with love" sentiment.  The catalogs are always full of creative inspiration to case in one way or another!

I hope you will join along in this milestone challenge!  It's always so much fun to see the gallery full of so many wonderful creations!

Happy Stamping!

What Would You Do...

Welcome to Friday and the latest TGIF Challenges What Would You Do Challenge.  This month we are seeing what everyone will do without black ink.

If you've been following me for a while, you know that I love any image that I can stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento and color with Stampin' Blends, so this was a bit of a challenge for me.  But when you have a stamp set like Celebrate With Tags that is full of adorable images, it's easy to create something that is full of color!

Anyone else remember the book called The Red Mittens?  Such a sweet little story that inspired these red mittens.  I pulled a couple of my favorite patterns from Sweetest Christmas DSP to add a bit more color and stamped the sentiment in coordinating colors of Garden Green, Pool Party and Sweet Sorbet.

I realized after the fact that I had use the retired Macrame 3D embossing folder to add a little "sweater" feel.  I loved it too much to start over with a different embossing folder.  You'll forgive me, right?!?

Isn't this tag the cutest?  It gets even cuter when you can open it up with a sweet sentiment on the inside!
It was so fun to use nothing but color for today's card...it's so cheerful and happy!  I can't wait to see what everyone else does without black today!

Happy Stamping!
