Happy Birthday to the World's Greatest Dad

Happy Thursday stampers!

And even more importantly, Happy Birthday to my DAD!!!

Today I'm sharing this post over at SSINK.  Be sure to head over to check things out...we have an AWESOME design team this year!

As soon as I saw the Urban Underground Suite and Nail It stamp set, I knew I HAD to have them just for my dad!  My dad is quite the handy man and pretty amazing with his woodworking tools, so these items are perfect for him!

The first project I'm sharing is his birthday card.  I LOVE the added dimension from the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  And the Urban Underground Embellishments are the BEST!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Delightful Dijon, Urban Underground DSP
Ink ~ Basic Black, Deligtful Dijon
Stamp Sets ~ Urban District, B.Y.O.P
Other Supplies ~ Urban Underground Embellishments, Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Next up is a fun little gift certificate holder using the Mini Treat Bag Tinlits.  I CASE'ed the catalog on this one, making the gift bag into a fun little tool belt and pocket.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Kraft, Silver Foil, Real Red, Crushed Curry, Pacific Point, Early Espresso
Ink ~ StazOn
Stamp Sets ~ Urban District, Nailed It
Other Supplies ~ Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, Build It Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Project Life Corner Punch

These were such fun projects to make and I can't wait to give them to my dad later today!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Urban Underground Congrats

We are getting SO CLOSE to the launch of the 2017 Occasions Catalog!  Are you loving what you've seen so far?
The team at SSINK is back at it today with the Urban Underground Suite.  I think this my favorite suite of the whole catalog!  I love the images, the colors and all of the other amazing products!  It's perfect for all of the masculine creations you may need throughout the year!

One of my co-workers needed a retirement card for her husband, who just happens to be a HUGE Idaho Vandals fan.  The Urban Underground DSP colors were PERFECT for this card!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, Urban Undergound DSP
Ink ~ Delightful Dijon, Basic Gray
Stamp Set ~ Teeny Tiny Wishes, Tin of Cards
Other Supplies Used ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Silver Metallic Thread

I hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday!

Happy Stamping!

Urban Ungerground Birthday

Happy Monday Stampers!

And Happy 11th Birthday to my twins, Aidan and Hunter!

I will be honest...I really struggled with their birthday cards this year.  They have officially entered the tween stage, which well all know what that means...everything has to be cool, which means no more cute little boy cards.  But, never fear!  Urban Underground DSP came to my rescue and helped me in creating a couple of cards that they will {hopefully} like.

Aidan has been on a kick lately where he loves to work on his bike and wants to be a mechanic. Everything in the Urban Underground Suite in the upcoming Occasions Catalog was perfect for his card!

And being that they are twins, I always try to make them cards that are different, but also alike in some ways.  Hunter is all about hunting and can not wait to take hunters safety this spring.  The fun antlers from the new Bookcase Builder stamp set was perfect for his card!

  Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, Urban Underground DSP, Vellum
Ink ~ Basic Black, Basic Gray, StazOn
Stamp Sets ~ Urban District, Balloon Adventures, Bookcase Builder, Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Hexagon Punch*, Urban Underground Embellishments, Silver Metallic Thread, Large Number Framelits, Stitched Framelits, Best Badge Punch

Celebrating my kids birthdays is always bitter sweet...time goes by so fast and the grow up way too fast.  I love every single moment...even the crazy ones!

Happy Stamping!
