Celebrating 12 Years

Happy Tuesday stamping friends!!!  Today is a special day at our house...our twins, Aidan and Hunter are celebrating their 12th birthday.  It does not even seem possible that they are this old already!  I truly wish time would slow down!  Even though I feel like they are growing up too fast, it is amazing to see how much they change each year and witness the amazing young men they are turning in to.  The bond they share is like no other...something only twins have.

This was their first year to deer hunt, so it only seemed right to make them something deer related.  I never make them the same card, but they are always similar...kind of like them :)

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Whole Lot of Lovely, Velum

Ink ~ Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist

Stamp Sets ~ Bookcase Builder, Number of Years

Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Large Numbers Framelits, Happy Birthday Thinlits, Embossing Paste and Stencils, White Accents, Basic Black Bakers Twine

I love the pop of the Lemon Lime Twist with the black and white...it's a good color combo, especially for boys!

I think this is the first time in a few years that my boys have had to go to school on their birthday.  They are usually lucky enough to celebrate during their Christmas break, but this year they are stuck going to school.  But we are treating them to a fun dinner at their favorite pizza place and feasting on their birthday cookies.  Yes, birthday cookies!  My kids are weird and never want cake for their birthday :-D

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you happen to see my boys today, be sure to wish them a Happy Birthday!

Happy Stamping!

Urban Ungerground Birthday

Happy Monday Stampers!

And Happy 11th Birthday to my twins, Aidan and Hunter!

I will be honest...I really struggled with their birthday cards this year.  They have officially entered the tween stage, which well all know what that means...everything has to be cool, which means no more cute little boy cards.  But, never fear!  Urban Underground DSP came to my rescue and helped me in creating a couple of cards that they will {hopefully} like.

Aidan has been on a kick lately where he loves to work on his bike and wants to be a mechanic. Everything in the Urban Underground Suite in the upcoming Occasions Catalog was perfect for his card!

And being that they are twins, I always try to make them cards that are different, but also alike in some ways.  Hunter is all about hunting and can not wait to take hunters safety this spring.  The fun antlers from the new Bookcase Builder stamp set was perfect for his card!

  Supplies Used:

Paper ~ Basic Black, Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, Urban Underground DSP, Vellum

Ink ~ Basic Black, Basic Gray, StazOn

Stamp Sets ~ Urban District, Balloon Adventures, Bookcase Builder, Guy Greetings

Other Supplies ~ Hexagon Punch*, Urban Underground Embellishments, Silver Metallic Thread, Large Number Framelits, Stitched Framelits, Best Badge Punch

Celebrating my kids birthdays is always bitter sweet...time goes by so fast and the grow up way too fast.  I love every single moment...even the crazy ones!

Happy Stamping!
