Daffodil Blessings

Hello friends!  I feel like it has been FOREVER since I last posted.  I've kind of been in a creative slump, but after deep cleaning my office this past weekend and getting everything back in order, I pulled myself out of that slump.

Inspired by the latest Global Design Project CASE the Designer Challenge and my daffodils that are just starting to peek out of the soil, I created a cheerful Easter blessing. I love the use of the Paper Lattice!

By now you should know that I love to color with the Stampin' Blends.  Daffodil Daydream Bundle was a must have, of course!

I started out by creating a soft Daffodil Delight background with an ink pad and Blending Brush.  A few Daffodil Delight splatters were stamped, then layered with a trimmed piece of Paper Lattice.  I layered the bunch of daffodils on top of the Paper Lattice, but it needed a little something more.  A die cut circle of You're A Peach DSP  was just what it needed!  The Pear Pizzazz pattern was perfect...so perfect that I layered another piece on the card front!

The bundle of daffodils was colored with Stampin' Blends in shades of Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pale Papaya.  A little bit of Linen Thread wrapped the bundle of flowers up and a few Brushed Brass Butterflies were scattered around.  Oh!  And I can't forget my heat embossed sentiment!

I've managed to keep my office clean so far this week, so hopefully you'll see more creations from me!

Happy Stamping!

Here Together, For You

Happy Tuesday friends!  It's time for an all new sketch challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments and it's a fun one!

I have another fun new Collection to share with you.  All Together Suite Collection was release this month and it is AMAZING.  I love the meaning behind this suite.

You know how much I love black and white patterns, right?   The All Together DSP is nothing but black and white patterns.  YES!  Rather than adding a tag like the sketch has, I decided to use the die-cut pinky promise hands.  Here For You...I Promise.  So much meaning in such few words.  The cute little die cut heart was the perfect addition.

Since I was on a creative roll, I made a second card using the same sketch, but different die-cut words and hands.  You Matter To Me...Love You.  Love this!

This collection is perfect for creating cards for everyone and anyone who is special in your life and needs a few words of encouragement.    The Natural Tones Stampin' Blends that come with this collection are all beautiful skin tone shades. I promise, any card you create with this collection will be so loved by anyone who receives them!

Happy Stamping!

Feels Like Home ~ Monday Montage

Hi friends and welcome to another amazing Monday Montage Blog Hop!  This past week has been flooded with Convention memories with so many of these talented stampers in this group.  I love each and every one of them!!

I am slowly, but surely working my way through my Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogs pre-order. I may have ordered more than I actually thought...shocking, right?!?  I ordered enough to earn myself a few Sale-A-Bration items, including the beautiful Feels Like Home stamp set.  I love the door image with the bike!

This image is absolutely beautiful when it is watercolored, but I was in a Stampin' Blend kind of mood when I created this card.  I may not have the same look as watercolor, but it is still just as pretty!  I had a mess of Stampin' Blends on my desk after adding color.
After coloring the image, I tore the edges of the paper and added it to a piece of Smoky Slate embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder.  I love what the torn paper added to the card.  A simple Happy Birthday sentiment fussy cut from the Best Year stamp set was all that was needed complete the card.

I told my husband this stamp set is going to be a big help in deciding what color to paint our front door!  I can stamp as many as I want and color the doors in ALL the colors!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!  Be sure to keep on hopping until you make your way through the loop!

Happy Stamping!

Peekaboo Farm Friends ~ Monday Montage

Hello friends and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  I love seeing all of the great ideas all of these talented stampers we have.  Make sure you don't miss a single stop along the way!

I've been eyeing the cute little Peekaboo Farm critters for quite some time and finally added them to my collections of stamps.  They are so stinkin' adorable and perfect for my love of coloring

Along with the Peekaboo Farm stamp set, I also added the Picture This dies. These two products go hand in hand!  After cutting out the Smoky Slate circle frames, I cut a second frame in Basic White and used the negative pieces to stamp and color the adorable little farm friends. I love that it looks like they are peeking through each hole.
A little texture was added with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and a little pop of Petal Pink was brought in with the heat embossed sentiment and cute little flowers from the Peach Dies.

Next up is the friendly little cow..just popping over the wall to say "Life is better with you!".  I had die cut a bunch of frames using the Stitched Rectangle dies for another project and had all of the negative pieces left over, which came in quite handy for a stone background. I used the Bark 3D embossing folder for this card and a pop of Poppy Parade for the sentiment.  So sweet and simple...my favorite type of card!
Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to keep on hopping to see what everyone else has been working on.  I promise that you will love them all!

Happy Stamping!
