I had big plans to get this post done first thing this morning, especially since NEW Sale-A-Bration items were released, but it didn't happen.  My boys and I went to a concert last night and got home in to bed LATE!!!  Way past my bedtime kind of late!  So, I didn't get some of the things done that I had wanted to this morning, but sleeping in felt pretty amazing.

 

Anyhow...as I was saying, some amazing NEW Sale-A-Bration items were released today and I am certain you will want to add them to your collection!

Doesn't this just scream spring?!?!  I love the Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay together...they are so cheerful!  I am hoping for more spring like weather here soon.  We had a few warmer days and then it snowed!  Crazy weather!

Epic Brusho Celebrations ~ Monday Montage

I had my monthly stamp class on Friday and Sunday and decided to be brave and use the awesome new Brusho Crystal Colour.  I was a bit hesitant to use it at first given the fact that I made a HUGE mess the first time I used it, but decided to just go for it!

My stampers LOVED it!!  It was so much fun seeing how different everyone's was and how much fun they all had using it.  I'm so happy I decided to use it :-)  Paired up with the Epic Celebrations stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog, it makes for an... EPIC card!  Thank you to the amazing Allison Okamitsu of Nice People STAMP for the inspiration for these cards!

Birdhouse CASE

Hello stampers!  Happy Friday!!!

 

We made it through another week...yippee!! What are your plans for the weekend?  I'm kicking the weekend off with my monthly stamp club tonight...my favorite time of the month :-)  Saturday is a day full of soccer and basketball and Sunday will be full of stamping and maybe a little football.  (I'll be honest...there will likely be very little football watched by me!)

 

Some days I get a little stumped with my stamping...I know it happens to all of us at some point!  When I'm in a slump, I turn to the catalogs for some inspiration and often times CASE a card that I love.  And that's just what I did today!

I changed things up a bit from the card that is in the Occasions Catalog on page 41, but that's what CASE'ing is all about.  You can make it exactly the same or you can change it up a little!  Either way, the catalogs are a great source of inspiration whenever you may be in a creative slump!

Simply Amazing Sunday

Happy Sunday stampers!!!  I'm finally sitting down in my craft room after a full morning of cleaning. We set aside half of a day each weekend to get our chores done, and this morning was the day this weekend.  All of my boys cleaned their rooms and got rid of a bunch of junk...which made for a happy momma!  My hubby filled a dump trailer FULL of tree limbs that fell during an ice storm a couple weeks ago and I cleaned house.  Now that we all have our chores done, we have free time to do what we want :-)  The hubs and the boys are glued to the football games, so I happily retreated to my craft room for some much needed craft therapy.

I caught up with the latest Freshly Made Sketches team and played along with their latest sketch.

I have been itching to use the Amazing You and Celebrate You Thinlits, which I earned from the Sale-A-Bration catalog for free.  After seeing some cards created with this set in this weeks Stampin' Up! Succeed Weekly, I used that for added inspiration for today's card.

I have not used Tranquil Tide a whole lot, but after using it for this card, I will most certainly be using it more!  It's a beautiful color! I'm happy it's hear to stay for another year!

#TGIFC140 December Designer's Delight

Happy Friday stamping friends!!!  I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and are planning for a fun New Year as well!

 

I have been enjoying time off with my family and loving every moment of it.  I have never had time off during my boys' winter break, so having two full weeks off with them has been the best Christmas present!

This week is Designer's Delight over at TGIF Challenges.  Since I have a stack of thank you notes to get out, I decided this would be a good chance to get started on them!

Epicly Awesome Baseball Season

Hello happy stampers and happy Wednesday!!

 

I got my pre-order box a couple of days ago and I could not wait to get the Epic Celebrations stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog inked up.  As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to do a scrapbook page with this photo of my boys.

 

We spent our spring and summer at the baseball fields and we are counting down the days until baseball season starts again!

The Myths & Magic Washi tape was the perfect added touch!  And those shoes from the Epic Celebrations stamp set...my FAVORITE!!  I added a few splatters of ink to grunge it up a little bit because...you know, boys and baseball mean grunge!

Bubble Over with Color ~ HSSCC279

Whoa!  I don't know about you, but my Monday FLEW by!!  So fast that I almost forgot about this fun new color challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

 

It's a good thing I got a fun new box of pre-order stampin' goodies that were just perfect for this challenge.  You'll have to forgive my photo...it was late by the time I got this photo taken and my inside lights are not the greatest.
