Mystery Supply Challenge

Happy Wednesday friends!  I'm here today with a fun post that some of the fancy SSINK Design Team Members came up...a Mystery Supply Challenge.  We all drew names and had to send our DT member 3 supplies.  We had to use these 3 supplies to create a card for today's post.  I will admit...I was a bit stressed about it, but once I got my supplies from Tonya, I was pretty excited and had fun coming up with something.
These are the 3 supplies she sent to me...
...and this is what I did with them!
My first thought was to use Build a Birthday, but my friend had just found out she was expecting her second baby girl, so I decided to turn the lace trim in to a cute little tutu :-)
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Cherry on Top DSP
Ink ~ Watermelon Wonder
Stamp Set ~ Something for Baby, A Dozen Thoughts
Other Supplies ~ Baby's First Framelits, Banner Framelits, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine, Boho Chic Embossing Folder, 2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents

This really was a fun challenge and I look forward to doing this again with the SSINK Design Team!  Be sure to check out the rest of the teams creations and click on their individual blogs to see what 3 supplies they received.

Happy Stamping!

Baby Boy Blue

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.  Being the mommy of 3 boys, these colors were all boy to me!
A good friend of mine is having an ultra sound today with hopes of finding out the gender of her baby and she's hoping for a boy.  So, I'm hoping this card will get put to good use a little bit later today :-)
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Schoolhouse DSP
Ink ~ Tangerine Tango, Lost Lagoon, Pool Party
Stamp Sets ~ Something for Baby, A Dozen Thoughts
Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Baby's First Framelits, Lost Lagoon Striped Cotton Ribbon, White Perfect Accents, Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers

I just love that itty bitty baby tie!

Fingers crossed this finds it's way into my outgoing mail today!

Happy Stamping!

Thank Your Boss

Did you remember that tomorrow is Bosses Day?  Are you doing anything to thank your boss?  I am so lucky to have a pretty amazing boss who goes above and beyond to make sure things are always going well in our department, brings us treats every month at our staff meetings and just an all around super nice guy.  All of the people in our department make sure we put together a nice little gift for our boss each year and I am always happy to make a card :-)
I knew I wanted to use the cute little tie from the Something for Baby stamp set...my boss wears a tie every single day and they are always so nice!  Being that it's Wednesday, I checked out the latest sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches and Jen T. had a great sketch that was perfect for this card!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Baked Brown Sugar, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White
Ink ~ Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy
Stamp Sets ~ Something for Baby, Another Thank You
Other Supplies ~ Baby's First Framelits, Argyle Embossing Folder, Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Daffodil Delight Cotton Ribbon

Don't forget to do something nice for your boss tomorrow....even if it's just a simple thank you!  It will mean a lot to them :-)

Happy Stamping!

Here is the sketch for this week:
And here is my take:
I love this little duck and just had to stamp him a few more times on the inside of the card...quack, quack!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Lullaby*
Ink ~ Crushed Curry, Pistachio Pudding
Stamp Sets ~ Something for Baby*, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Other Supplies ~ Pistachio Pudding Thick Bakers Twine*
*2014-2015 Catalog

So, I had to cheat and use Crushed Curry instead of the NEW Hello Honey ink...I'm {impatiently} waiting for a special box to get here with all of the new In-Color ink pads!  Hoping to have them in my hot little hands by the end of the week :-)
