Candy Cane Wishes

Happy Friday stampers and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge!  If you've been following along on my Instagram @craftsomnia, you know that I've also been playing along with Martin's 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge.  This sketch went along nicely with today's Candy Cane Wishes theme!

When I think of candy canes, I think of peppermint hot chocolate!  More Than Autumn bundle and the super cute Snowy Scenes DSP came together to make the cutest candy cane inspired card!

Poppy Parade and Petal Pink make fun color buddies for this sweet holiday card.  I may have to turn this into a hot chocolate packet holder...stay tuned!

Nothing's Better Than Fall

Sweater weather is on it's way and we are ready for it over at TGIF Challenges!

When I think of fall, I think of flannel blankets, cozy sweaters, football cider and all things pumpkin!  

The new Sweet Days of Autumn 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper is perfect for all of your fall creations!  It has the cutest critters and some amazing fall patterns. I pulled colors from this fun triangle pattern and stamped a couple of my favorite fall beverages...caramel apple cider and pumpkin spice latte!

The Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder added the perfect fall flannel texture, complete with a few Crumb Cake splatters.  I love all of the fun sentiments in the More Than Autumn stamp set...they are all so cute!

You Had Me at Pumpkin Spice

Hello and welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Join along in the fun as we share some creative inspiration with you!

My Mini Catalog pre-order arrived late last week and I could not wait to dig in to all of the fun NEW products, especially the More Than Autumn Bundle!  If you know me, I LOVE all things pumpkin, so this bundle was a MUST have for me! I'm not ready for summer to be over, but I have already started in on all of my fall pumpkin favorites!

Pulling out some fall-ish colors of Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie, I created some of my favorite pumpkin treats.  Pumpkin Spice latte, pumpkin spice donuts, pumpkin pie...the list could go on and on.

And what about this amazing new Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder?!?  Isn't it the best!  You can plan on seeing this used a ton over the next few months!
