Father's Day at Sea

Hooray!  We made it through another week and are on to the weekend!  Today is my older boys last day of school...they are so excited for summer break.   Even more so because one week from day we will be hitting the road for a little vacation to the beach.  We'll be there over Father's Day, so this weeks Friday Mashup gave me the chance to make the perfect Father's Day card.
This weeks challenge is to make a Father's Day card and mash it up by using Cajun Craze, Garden Green and Island Indigo.
I wasn't sure that I could make these colors work together, but once I started stamping with The Open Sea, it all came together!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Island Indigo, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Typset DSP
Ink ~ Cajun Craze, Island Indigo, Garden Green
Stamp Sets ~ The Open Sea, Choose Happiness, World Map
Other Supplies ~ Banner Framelits, Chevron Ribbon, Linen Thread, Label Bracket Punch
Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team creations and don't forget to play along!
Happy Stamping!

  1. And once again great minds think alike! This turned how really nice. Love the banner cluster in the middle with the twine! Great team challenge card!

  2. Nice job including all the challenge colors with The Open Sea. Love your layered sentiment and linen thread.
