For my project, I reached into my stash and pulled out the Bloom Where You Are Planted Designer Series Paper along with the Plentiful Plants stamp set. These have always been favorites of mine, and the lush greenery patterns were perfect for today’s card.
To create my card, I started with a Gray Granite card base and added the brick-style patterned paper to give the look of a wall behind the plants. I then layered several fussy-cut plant images from the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP, arranging them in different heights to create a little indoor garden scene.
Using a few dimensionals helped lift the plants and add dimension, making the arrangement feel more natural and full. I also tucked in a small strip of patterned paper behind the focal cluster for a pop of warm color and contrast.
The sentiment, “Thank You So Very Much,” comes from the Plentiful Plants stamp set and fits perfectly with the garden theme. To finish the card, I added a few enamel dots for a bit of shine and texture.
This project was such a great reminder that we often have amazing supplies already in our craft rooms—sometimes they just need to be rediscovered!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to continue around the hop to see how the rest of the design team used their stash and how they were inspired by Kim Gibbons Fee.
Next up is Cheryl Hamilton. I can't wait to see what she has created!
