Halloween Kitty

Happy Halloween stampers!  Are you ready for a day filled with tricks and treats?!?!  This is the first year that all three of my boys won't be together for Halloween...kind of bitter sweet for this momma.  The older boys will be hanging out at youth group for the evening while my younger boy will be hitting the neighborhood in hopes of a few treats.  I'm hoping to get a picture of them all together, but I'm not sure it will happen.  All part of your kiddos growing up, right?!?
While my twins are "too old" for Halloween stuff, my little guy still likes to get a special "mom" card on holidays :-)  He is my little punch art king, so I thought it would be fun to make a card that he can recreate himself later.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Sparkle Glimmer Paper
Ink ~ Memento
Stamp Set ~ Spooky Sweets
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles Framelits, Cauldron Framelits, Spider Trinkets, Cat Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Twinkle Sequins

I always forget how cute that little cat punch is!  I need to play around with this punch more often and maybe recreate my fat kitty!

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween and maybe end up with a few treats for yourself!

Happy Stamping!

Dashing Deer Thanks ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back once again another fabulous hop for you to enjoy!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!

It's hunting season in our neck of the woods.  My hubby and older boy ventured out last weekend for the boys' special permit hunt.  They were fortunate enough to be able to hunt on some private property of one of my husband's co-workers, Greg, which resulted in a successful hunt for both of them! It was a pretty proud moment for all 3 of them, especially since this was their first successful season.  None of it would have been possible without the permission to hunt where they did or the help from Greg.  My boys asked me to make him a thank you card to send along with a little gift of thanks, which I was more than happy to do.

The Dashing Deer bundle was a must have for me, mainly because of the cute little buck and doe stamps with the coordinating dies.  While this is a Christmas set, it's perfect for anyone who has some hunters in their life too!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Garden Green, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Vellum, Wood Textures DSP
Stamp Set ~ Dashing Deer, Country Road
Ink ~ Garden Green, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso
Other Supplies ~ Detailed Deer Thinlits, 2" Circle Punch, Frosted Bouquet Framelits

Now that the twins are hunting, my hubby didn't do much of his own hunting this year.  We can only eat so much venison in a year!  I'm not sure what we are going to do when our youngest starts hunting too...deer jerky and summer sausage for everyone!

Next stop on the hop is my friend Cathy...I always love all of her awesome creations! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on backwards to the amazingly talented Amy...her stamping style is amazing!  I can't wait to see all of my Monday Montage friends at OnStage in just a little over a week!

Thanks you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Country Pumpkins

Hello stampin' friends!

I am FINALLY finding a little bit more time for stamping now that my boys aren't playing 7 million sports.  I'll be honest...I love watching my boys play all the sports, but 3 boys and 4 DIFFERENT sports was too much for this momma!  We are down to just my twins playing basketball right now and it feels like a vacation!

I have a card class coming up soon and was trying to come up with a card for Thanksgiving.  Since I don't have the Falling for Leaves bundle, I had to get a little creative with what I already have.  I searched through my stamp sets, but still couldn't decide what to use, so I searched through my DSP instead.  Hello Country Lane DSP!  The patterns with the pumpkins on it were just what I needed to create a pretty and simple Thanksgiving card.  And this sentiment is my favorite...
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White
Ink ~ Cajun Craze
Stamp Set ~ Country Home
Other Supplies ~ Layering Ovals Framelits, Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Braided Linen Trim, Snowfall Thinlits

I love the added texture from the Tin Tile EF!  And the cute little leaves from the Snowfall Thinlits were the perfect addition to the pumpkin!  We'll be making a couple cards with the Snowflake Showcase products, so this will be the perfect way to show another use of these beautiful dies!

I hope you all have a fantastic day!  The weekend is almost here...what do you have planned?!?

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Brights 6x6 DSP, Gold Glimmer
Ink ~ Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, Memento
Stamp Set ~ Making Christmas Bright

Awesome Kids

Happy Sunday stampers!  I hope you have had a great weekend so far.  I know ours has been pretty great! My youngest and I spent lots of time at our annual Balloon Stampede, which was so much fun!  We took in the Nite Glow on Friday night, then got up early Saturday morning to watch the launch and chased a few balloons to watch them land.  It is truly a magical time in our little town!

While we were out chasing balloons, my hubby and twins were out on their own hunting adventure.  They've had a successful hunt so far...one down, one to go. I'm anxiously awaiting a phone call or text to let me know how their morning hunt has gone.

My kids are all pretty freaking awesome and I love seeing all that they can do!  The continue to amaze me every single day.  But, as with any child, they do sometimes give us a run for our money and cause us to question our parenting abilities from time to time.  Middle school has been a trying time for all of us, but we are working our way through it and all learning so much from each other.  One of our kiddos has had a few struggles lately, so I wanted to make him a special little card to leave for him when he least expects it.  Treehouse Adventure is the perfect stamp set for a fun and encouraging card for any kiddo!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Mango Melody, Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade
Ink ~ Mango Melody, Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Memento
Stamp Set ~ Treehouse Adventure

We have another beautiful day before us.  I have so many stamping projects to work on, but I want to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather we have before it's gone.  Decisions, decisions...

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have a beautiful day!

Happy Stamping!

Halloween is just a little over a week away...are you ready?!?!  If you are still trying to put together a few projects for the spooky holiday, TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge has just what you need to be inspired!
I love all of the silver and gold in the inspiration photo.  Halloween doesn't always have to be about orange jack-o-lanterns, right?!?  I am a bit limited on my Halloween supplies, but I was able to pull together a fun little card with some metallic flair!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Galvanized Metallic Paper, Silver Glimmer
Ink ~ Memento, Versa Mark
Stamp Sets ~ Making Every Day Bright, Itty Bitty Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions EF, Cauldron Framelits, Spider Trinkets, Basic Black Bakers Twine, Gold Metallic Pears

Isn't the Galvanized Metallic Paper the best?!?!  I am hoping that this paper carries over because it is so GOOD for so many different projects!

I am hoping to get my boys' costumes all sorted out this weekend.  They all know what they want to be, but we still need to find bits and pieces to bring them all together.  I love that they get creative with their costume choices every year...makes it so much more fun and memorable!

Have a fantastic Friday!

Happy Stamping!

Happiness Surrounds ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back once again another fabulous hop for you to enjoy!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!

My husband and boys were gone for 4 days and I had BIG plans to stamp so MANY things while they were gone.  But then I started cleaning and decided that the entire house needed a deep cleaning.  So...stamping kind of got pushed to the back burner, but my house is so super clean and it was a good feeling to get it all done.  Even with all of my cleaning, I did still manage to get a little stamping done...after I cleaned my office!

I preordered the AMAZING new Snowflake Showcase products and sat down to make a few samples for my classes next month.  I was really drawn to the Happiness Surrounds stamp set.  The Snowfall Thinlits coordinate with both this stamp set AND the Snow Is Glistening stamp set.  I LOVE that Stampin' Up! has done this...it's such a great deal!  I played around with a new color combo for this card and absolutely LOVE these colors together.  You can guarantee to see these colors again on another card.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White
Ink ~ Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Set ~ Happiness Surrounds
Other Supplies ~ Snowfall Thinlits, Faceted Dots

Aren't those detailed flowers beautiful?  After a happy accident, I discovered that leaving the little bits in one of the flowers really added to it, so I went with it and love the final result.  I can't wait for my customers to be able to buy these products...I know they will love them just as much as I do.  Mark you calendars for November 1st...you won't want to miss out on these!

Next stop on the hop is my crafty friend Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on backwards to the amazingly talented Wendy...I just love her style!

Thanks you for stopping by today!

All The Pieces

Happy Wednesday stampers!  We've reached the halfway point of the week and are on the downhill slide to the weekend!  My family is headed to the Oregon Coast tonight after my boys football game and won't be back until Sunday afternoon.  I am hoping this means lots of stamping time for me over the next few days.  I have a big list of things that I am hoping to get done...fingers crossed it all happens!

I did have a bit of time yesterday to finish up a fun card with the Love You to Pieces stamp set.  This set caught my eye right away when I saw it in the Annual Catalog and it was a MUST have!  I was searching through my Stampin' Success catalogs, available to SU Demonstrators,  for some inspiration and found it on page 4 of the Quarter 3 issue!  I loved the layout of the two cards on the right hand side of the page and thought it would be perfect for this set.  I love the velum over the stamped puzzle pieces!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White
Ink ~ Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody
Stamp Set ~ Love You To Pieces
Other Supplies ~ Puzzle Pieces Thinlits, Silver Metallic Thread, Rhinestones, Pretty Park Framelits

As I was getting ready to post this card, I remembered I never shared some cute little decorations I made for all of the girls at work.  I work in the Special Education department for our school district and kids with special needs are very near and dear to my heart.  These seemed like the perfect little decorations for a desk and a great reminder of why we do what we do!  One piece at a time...
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Crushed Curry
Ink ~ Blueberry Bushel
Stamp Set ~ Love You To Pieces
Other Supplies ~ Puzzle Pieces Thinlits, Whisper White Bakers Twine

I love this fun bundle so much!  It will be one that I hang on to forever...and it will be well used and loved!

Thanks for dropping by today!  I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Happy Stamping!

Sunflower Inspiration ~ HSSIC300

Have you fallen into fall yet?  It's in full swing where I live and the colors are beautiful!  I'll admit...I'm not a huge fan of the cold, dreary weather that comes with fall, but I do love all of the color it has to offer!

This weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge is all about FALL!  And it's our 300th challenge!  How cool is that?  I am so honored to be a part of this amazing design team!

Of course I was inspired by the sunflowers in the photo collage.  Sunflowers always make me think of the last little bit of summer hanging on as fall takes over.  The beautiful sunflower stamps in Painted Harvest met Mango Melody and produced the most amazing sunflowers ever!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Gray Granite, Whisper White
Ink ~ Gray Granite, Mango Melody, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake
Stamp Sets ~ Painted Harvest, Love What You Do
Other Supplies ~ Linen Thread

Yes, I fussy cut all of the flowers and leaves. I am one of the few who love to fussy cut!  It's one of those things that just feels therapeutic to me :-)

Be sure to head on over to HSS and play along with us!

Happy Stamping!

Two Cards, One Sketch

Happy Sunday stampers!  Look at me...stamping AND blogging two days in a row.  That's what I call a great weekend!

I always love a good sketch to get me started on a card and the latest Global Design Project sketch did not disappoint!
I loved this sketch so much, I made TWO cards using it.  It's always fun to create multiple cards using the same sketch, but different stamp sets.  This is a great class idea too!

My first card is using the ADORABLE Treehouse Adventure stamp set.  I've had this set for a while, but haven't had the chance to ink it up...until today!  These little houses are too cute!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Brights DSP
Ink ~ Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray
Stamp Set ~ Treehouse Adventure
Other Supplies ~ Whisper White Bakers Twine

Next up are my fun little Trick or Tweet friends!  These little critters are so much fun to color!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Highland Heather, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Brights DSP
Ink ~ Memento, Stampin' Blends
Stamp Set ~ Trick or Tweet
Other Supplies ~ Basic Black Solid Bakers Twine, Glitter Enamel Dots, Spider Trinkets

I'm going to see if I can sneak in one more card for an upcoming design team project...the laundry can wait a bit longer, right?!?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Christmas Traditions for World Card Making Day

Hello stampin' friends!  Welcome to Saturday and World Card Making Day!!!  I couldn't let the day pass by without celebrating by creating in my craft room.  It's been a rainy, dreary day, so I thought I would brighten things up with the fun and cheerful Christmas Traditions Punch Box.
The Note Cards & Envelopes were perfect for these 6 festive little stamps and coordinating Christmas Traditions Punch.  The Real Red and Call Me Clover Classic Stampin' Spots help to make some cute little cards in no time at all!  I need to remember to pull the Note Cards out more often for some quick and easy cards.

I kept my designs simple with just a bit of DSP and bits of bling.  These would be perfect for a holiday workshop or class.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes, In Color 2018-2020 DSP, Under the Mistletoe DSP
Ink ~ Real Red, Call Me Clover
Stamp Set Christmas Traditions
Other Supplies ~ Christmas Traditions Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Red Rhinestones, Gold Metallic Thread

How did you celebrate World Card Making Day?  Did you stamp with a group of friends or did you enjoy some quiet time in your creative space?  Either way, I hope you got some stamp time in!

Have an amazing day!

Happy Stamping!

#tgifc180 Color Challenge

Hello, hello! It's Friday and that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges.  This week we have a fun color challenge for you to play along with!

I have been in a bit of a funk the past couple of weeks, which means my creative mojo is nowhere to be found.  When I'm in a creative slump, I try to keep my stamping simple...and today's card is VERY simple!  I created my background with strips of black and white, then added a white panel with a few colorful candles.  I'm wishing I would have added a bit more color behind the white panel, but by the time I had thought about everything had been glued down.  Super simple card, it is!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink ~ Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Memento
Stamp Set ~ Picture Perfect Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Candle Embellishments, Metallic Sequins, Silver Mini Sequin Trim, Solid Basic Black Bakers Twine

This is our last weekend of baseball until early spring, which is bitter sweet.  I love watching my boys play!  But I am going to enjoy having a few more full weekends at home, which will hopefully lead to a bit more stamping!

Be sure to head on over to TGIFC and play along with us this week!

Happy Stamping!

Hittin' the Country Road

Do you have a person?  That person that gets you, that knows what you better than anyone else, that would bail you out of jail with no questions asked?  Erica is my person and she's moving all the way to Texas.  That's over 2100 miles away from me...which is a heck of a lot longer than the 40 miles away from me she is now.  I am so happy for her family and their new chapter in life, but I am also so sad that she will be so FAR away.  But no distance will EVER come between our friendship and she will ALWAYS be my person.  And now I have an excuse to go visit Texas!

The sentiment in the Country Road stamp set seemed so fitting as I stamped away my sadness yesterday.  "Nothing's better than the wind at your back, the sun on your face, and your family by your side."  This is perfect as the begin their journey!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Sahara Sand, Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Wood Textures DSP
Ink ~ Sahara Sand, Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso
Stamp Set ~ Country Road
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, Chicken Wire Elements, Braided Linen Thread, Galvanized Clips, Galvanized Buttons, Faceted Dots

Thankfully I'll get to spend a little time with Erica and her family this weekend as well as next weekend.  I need to squeeze in as much time with all of them that I can and fill my heart to the very tip top!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have a great Wednesday!

Happy Stamping!
