Freshly Made Spooky Fun

TGIF stampers!!!

We made it to Friday and have the weekend ahead of us...woohoo!  And lucky me...I get a 3 day weekend!  I'm hoping to sneak in a little bit more stampy time today!

I did have some Spooky Fun early this morning and played with a few more new holiday catalog items.  Only a few more days and everyone will be able to order all of the goodness this holiday catalog holds!  I don't know what it is about Halloween, but I love to decorate and craft for this holiday more than any other, including Christmas, so this stamp set and coordinating dies were a MUST have for me!

I used the latest Freshly Made Sketches sketch, which was perfect for this stamp set!  I will be making a few more variations of this card with this sketch...so much fun!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Brights DSP, Pop of Pink DSP, Silver Glimmer
Ink ~ Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Stamp Set ~ Spooky Fun
Other Supplies ~ Layering Ovals, Halloween Scenes Edglits, Halloween Night Bakers Twine, Detailed Santa Thinlits

I can't believe I forgot to add the awesome Halloween Night DSP to my holiday pre-order!  You can bet it will be added to my next order though.  Thankfully Stampin' Up! has so many other awesome DSP packs that can be used for any occasion and saved my crafty day!

Happy Stamping!

60 & Amazing

Look at me!  I actually stamped this week and it's not for a scheduled blog post!  My older boys started school this week and getting back into the school routine has been good for my stamping time in the morning...a win every way you look at it!
A co-worker aske me to make birthday card for her sister's upcoming 60th birthday.  It took me a while to get my creative juices flowing again, but I finally came up with this...
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Gold Glimmer, Vellum
Ink ~ Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Gold
Stamp Sets ~ Playful Backgrounds, Timeless Textures, Thoughtful Banners
Other Supplies ~ Large Numbers, Bunch of Banners, Calypso Coral Thick Bakers Twin, Gold Metallic Thread, Medium Star Punch, Confetti Stars Boarder Punch

As much I love having my boys home for summer break, I am always happy to get back into our school routine, especially when it means more stamping time for me!

Hopefully you see another post or two from me this week!

Happy Stamping!

World's Greatest Guy

Happy Tuesday stampers!

It's time for a little inspiration challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
These pictures gave me some great inspiration to create my hubby's birthday card.  I always seem to make him a birthday card with some sort of deer since hunting season always kicks off shortly after his birthday each year. Combining Always An Adventure with the Merry Tags Framelits made for the perfect card!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pacific Point, Pool Party, Whisper White, Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Kraft
Ink ~ Pacific Point, Basic Black
Stamp Sets ~ Labeler Alphabet, Greatest Greetings, Always An Adventure
Other Supplies ~ Woodland Embossing Folder, Outdoor Adventure Framelits, Merry Tags Framelits, Burlap Ribbon

I loved how this card turned out and my hubby loved it too!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out all of the amazing HSS inspiration crations from the team and join along in the fun!

Happy Stamping!

Home is Where You Park It ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

I think I almost forgot how to stamp!  It's been 2 weeks since my last post and just as long since I've stamped...I was going through serious withdraws!  But the craziness in our life has decreased greatly as we are all moved and settled in our NEW HOME!  It was a long summer dealing with the whole process of selling our house and buying our new one, but it was TOTALLY worth it.  We LOVE all of the space in our new home and our property is amazing!  My kids get out of bed and are outside playing from the time they get up until the time they go to bed.  They may not have had a summer vacation, but ending their summer at our new home made it all worth it.

We held an end of summer bash last night with our family and friends, which completely validated our decision to move.  Seeing all yard full of kids having fun and sharing stories around the fire made for the BEST time for everyone!

This adorable little glamper with the sentiment seemed fitting for my first post from our new house.  We are parked in this home for the long run!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, A Little Foxy DSP
Ink ~ Basic Black, Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive
