It’s time for another Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge, and this color combination was such a fun one to play with! This week, we’re featuring Timid Tiger, Cajun Craze, and Misty Moonlight. These colors are perfect for fall crafting, and I love how the warm, rich tones pair with the soft blue of Misty Moonlight.
For my project, I created a layered Thanksgiving card featuring the Thanks & Giving stamp set, a mix of Designer Series Papers, and some pretty embellishments to bring everything together.
I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and layered it with Very Vanilla cardstock to create a clean frame for my Designer Series Paper panels. I combined patterns from Country Woods and Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper to add texture, warmth, and a little bit of that cozy fall feeling.
The large floral print brings in those beautiful Timid Tiger tones, while the Cajun Craze grid pattern adds a fun graphic element to balance the design. I love mixing different patterns on a card, especially when the colors help tie everything together!
The focal point is the gorgeous fall arrangement from the Thanks & Giving stamp set. I added die-cut details and layered everything with dimension to give the arrangement plenty of interest.
A piece of Misty Moonlight Checkered Trim adds a soft, rustic touch, and I finished the card with die cuts and embellishments from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar. The little pops of blue sparkle are the perfect finishing touch!
The sentiment banner ties everything together and makes this card ready to share a little Thanksgiving cheer with someone special.

I love how this color combination brings together warm autumn hues and cool blue tones. It’s a great reminder that sometimes stepping outside our usual color combinations can lead to something unexpected and beautiful!
