Sunkissed Birthday ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I'm happy to be hopping along again after missing our last creative adventure.

As you are reading this post, I am enjoying the sunny beaches of Cancun Mexico with my family, so it only seemed fitting to create something with the beautiful Sunkissed stamp set.

Inspired by the amazing talented Artisan Tami Hewlett, I cased one of her creations.  I absolutely love the Texture Chic DSP paired up with this stamp set.  The seashell pattern is perfect for a sun-kissed, beach-loving card!

Using the Stamparatus and Stampin' Write Markers, I inked up the palm tree image, then added a little watercolor for a beautiful beach skyline.  The sentiment was heat embossed with gold to bring out the little bits of gold in the DSP.  A few gold Season Sequins and a Pool Party Sheer Ribbon finished things off quite nicely.

I'm off to cherish a week of fun in the sun, ocean and sand with my family!  Check out the rest of my craft friends and their awesome creations by clicking on the next link below.

Another Year Around The Sun

Hello stampers and welcome to an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge!  I always love an inspiration challenge...it's so fun to see what everyone is inspired to create!

The adorable camper dies from the Sale-A-Bration Tree Lot Dies was perfect for today's card.  After spending a week camping in our own camper, I was inspired by the sunny camper scene and created my own summer campground.

Rays of Light was still sitting on my desk from my last project, so I inked it up again in So Saffron to create the perfect burst of sunshine. Do you spy a few extra rays?  I added a few more to the Coastal Cabana layer as well.  A die-cut a Coastal Cabana and Silver Foil camper, complete with a Sweet Sorbet banner is nestled in under the warm sunshine.

A few trees were added, along with a refreshing Pacific Point (Layering Diorama) lake.  With our 100+ degree temps, a nice cool lake sounds so good right now!

Amazing Phrases, also from Sale-A-Bration, helped to create the perfect sentiment...To another year around the sun.  What a fun birthday greeting!

I hope you'll all join along with the rest of us over at Hand Stamped Sentiments and share what you were inspired to create.

Happy Stamping!

Just a Few of My Favorite Things...

Happy Friday! Welcome to the latest TGIF Challenges where we are sharing some of our favorite stamping things!  Can you guess what some of my favorite things are?

First off, I LOVE sunshine...warm sunshine, hot sunshine, cold sunshine...as long as the sun is shining, I'm a happy girl!  Rays of Light was a must have for this sun-loving momma!  Second, I love any stamp set that I can color with the Stampin' Blends.  Hippest Hippos...check!  The coordinating Hippo Dies make this stamp set even better!

And if you've been following me for a bit, you'll know that I love heat embossed sentiments that I can fussy cut.  It was love at first sight when I saw the Big Hooray stamp set.  (I threw in a little sentiment from Yeti to Party too).  And lastly...BRIGHT colors!  Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody are so good together!

What are some of your favorite stamping things?  I hope you'll join us this week and share a few of them!

Yeti Winter Wishes

It's Tuesday and time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.  I love this color combo...it has a wintery-cool feel, which was perfect for the new Yeti to Party Stamp set.

I stamped a mountain scene, coloring them in fun shades of Orchid Oasis, Highland Heather and Pool Party.  (Why don't we have Coastal Cabana Stampin' Blends?!?!) The Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder created the perfect Coastal Cabana background for this coffee-drinking Yeti!

A Wonderful Snowflake(s) and a few 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds were the only extra embellishing needed.
I am far from Yeti for winter, but this awesome color combo is one I will keep in mind as I create more wintery projects over the next few months!

Join in the fun and share your colorful creation with us!

Casting Spells

Happy Friday friends and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges sketch challenge!

I always love a good sketch and this one gave me a great excuse to pull out the new Best Witches stamp set and Black & White DSP.  4th of July is over, so it's time to start decorating for Halloween, right?!?!  Just kidding...I hold off on Halloween decorations until at least mid September, but I can still have fun creating cards now and being ready when it rolls around!

I love Parakeet Party with the Black & White DSP, especially mixing a couple of the patterns.  I colored the witches dress in Fresh Freesia to add a bit more color.  This is such a fun Halloween color combo!

If you love to color like I do, Best Witches is a must have for your Halloween creating this fall!

Join along in the fun and play along with our sketch challenge.  I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

Hello Baby Bear

Hi friends!  I hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of the July here in North America!  Ours was full of fun with friends, lots of good food and hours of swimming for the kiddos...pretty great in my opinion!

This month the Crafty Carrot Collective is featuring Happier Than Happy and their sneak peek projects have already inspired me.  I can't wait to see what the rest of the month brings!

The Happy Forest Friends DSP is full of adorable forest scenes and critters on one side and beautiful patterns on the flip side.  I cut a few strips of the various patterns to create a simple background on a Smoky Slate card base.

The warm and friendly bear was stamped in Soft Suede and softening up a bit with a Blender Pen.  I added a sweet Hello Baby sentiment on a tag, which was then attached to a piece of the beautiful Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon with some threads of Old Olive Twill Ribbon.  A couple mushrooms and an itty bitty butterfly were the only embellishments this card needed!

Speaking of bears...as my husband was mowing our pasture yesterday afternoon, he discovered some bear droppings. WHAT?!?!  Keep in mind, we live in town, but we do live along a pretty big creek that is usually full of little critters such as raccoons and skunks.  But a bear?!?  Yikes!  I hope it was a one time visit and he doesn't come back to snack on my chickens!

I hope you're have a fantastic week!

Camping Season ~ Monday Montage Blog Hop

Welcome to another fabulous Monday Montage Blog Hop!  We are here this holiday weekend to share more of our creative projects with all of you...so hop along and enjoy!

It's camping season for our family, which inspired this Christmas campout scene with the adorable new Trees for Sale Stamp set and coordinating Sale-A-Bration Tree Lot Dies.

Most of our camping takes place in the mountains, so a Mountain Air {stamp set} mountain range seemed fitting.  I stamped the mountains in Pacific Point, layering them on a Pacific Point Stylish Shapes circle.

Some pine trees in shades of Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce were tucked in behind a Pool Party and Whisper White camper.  I dressed the camper up just a bit with a cute little wreath.  A few Whisper White snowflakes gave the card a bit more of a winter feel and the Polished Pink sentiment tied all of the colors from the polka dot Celebrate Everything DSP.  So cute!

As I mentioned earlier, most of our camping takes place in the mountains, but this summer we are camping near the baseball fields as my youngest plays his way though the Allstar games.  Not quite the same as the mountains, but beats staying in a hotel any day!

Check out the next stop in the hop, or hop on back to the previous stop.  Either way, close the loop and check them all out!

Holly Jolly July

It's the most wonderful time of the summer...Christmas in July!

The July-December catalog is here and FULL of some many festive products to meet all of your fall and holiday creative needs!

I love to hoard collect DSP...I know I'm not alone in this!  I fell in love with the Celebrate Everything DSP as soon as I saw it.  The patterns and colors leave you with endless creative possibilities.

I paired this bright and cheerful pattern up with Christmas to Remember and Christmas Season stamp sets and coordinating dies.  I wasn't sure about the Polished Pink sentiment with the Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce and Poppy Parade greenery, but I quickly discovered a fun new holiday color combo!  A few Basic Black splatters in the background, a bit of Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon and a few Iridescent Rhinestones finished the card off.

This sweet and simple layout came from the latest Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  They never let me down when I needed a little help getting started on a project!

I am officially on summer break for the next 7 weeks, so I hope to be back more frequently with some fun projects to share with all of you!
