Sale-a-Bration Birthday Love

The 2016 Sale-a-Bration is quickly coming to an end...did you get all of the free products that you wanted?!?!  I love Sale-a-Bration time and all of the excitement it brings to my customers.  It's exciting for me as well because it's also when I celebrate my Stampin' Up! anniversary.  This year marks 4 years!  I initially signed up just to get the demonstrator discount, but my best friend talked me into starting a club which is still going strong today and continues to grow every year :-)
We are sharing some of our Sale-a-Bration favorites over at Stylin' Stampin' Inspiration today and What I Love is one of my favorite stamp sets from this year.  I love the 2-step stamp sets...or in this case, 3-step stamp set.  They give you the option to layer colors and have some fun!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, 2015-2017 In Color DSP Stack
Ink ~ Watermelon Wonder, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Lost Lagoon
Stamp Set ~ What I Love, Number of Years
Other Supplies ~ Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim, White Perfect Accents, Brick Wall Embossing Folder

I used this sweet sketch from Sugar Pea Designs as inspiration for today's card. I love the layout of this sketch...it will be one I use again!

I hope you are all having a great week so far!

Pocketful of Cheer

Hello stampers and happy Friday!

Did you know that Paper Pumpkin just celebrated their 3rd birthday AND shipped their ONE MILLIONTH KIT?!?!

It's such a treat to receive a crafty surprise in the mail every month.  I have to admit, in the beginning I wasn't too sure about Paper Pumpkin, but every month the kits get better and better!  March's kit was no exception...the Pocketful of Cheer kit is so bright and cheerful and perfect for any upcoming birthday's or graduations you may have in your family.
I pretty much made the projects as they were shown in the instructions, but I do still have few pieces left over that I'm looking forward to playing around with.

How would you like to receive a fun box of craftiness every month, delivered right to your doorstep?   What about a kit with an EXCLUSIVE stamp set in addition to the stamp set in the kit?
Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin before April 10th and you will receive April's Paper Pumpkin kit along with the exclusive stamp set as a thank you from the Paper Pumpkin Team!

You Grow, Girl!

Good morning happy stampers and welcome to Wednesday!
We've finally made it through winter and in to spring...or have we?  It's been chilly and pouring rain here and I've seen pictures of snow from other stampin' friends across the country!  We may not be feeling the spring weather yet, but the girls at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration are bringing spring to you in the form of paper and ink!

With only a few more days left of Sale-a-Bration, I figured I better use up some of the super cute Wildflower Fields DSP.  Using the Festive Flower Builder Punch, I made a fun flower, which pairs up perfectly with the "you grow, girl" sentiment!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, Wildflowers DSP
Ink ~ Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Set ~ Greatest Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Festive Flower Punch, Botanical Builder Framelits, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

I love how the flower kind of has a quilt look to it...it's fun and makes me happy.  This card is in the mail and on it's way to my BFF to make her day a little bit happier.

Even though I lost an hour this weekend, I still found a little time to stamp and create a fun card using this month's Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Card Sketch.

A Bunny Hunt

Happy Friday stampers!

My card club is tonight and, as always, I came up with a last minute idea for a cute project for my stampers to create. I ordered the Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags a while back and forgot all about them until yesterday morning and decided I HAD to use them for my club.  But I had nothing to put in them :(  I had Goldfish crackers, but those really didn't seem Easter-ish, so I sent my hubby on a bunny hunt!  I knew I had seen the Annie's Cheddar Bunnies at one of our local grocery stores, but couldn't remember which one.  My very sweet, kind and loving hubby went to 3 different stores until he found them for me...he's a keeper!  These cute little bunnies were the perfect little snack to put in these adorable cellophane bags!
Since we are singing our ABC's over at SSINK, I'm adding this quick and easy project to the Anything But a Card post today!  Be sure to check out all of the other fun non-card creations!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Cucumber Crush
Ink ~ Tangelo Twist
Stamp Set ~ Teeny Tiny Wishes
Other Supplies ~ Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags, Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Trim, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Note Tag Punch, Festive Flower Builder, 1/2" Circle Punch
(I used two retired punches to make the rest of the bunny...don't tell!)

This was super quick and easy to put together and will be perfect to tuck in to my kiddos Easter Baskets this year.  And the good news..no sugar thanks to my hubby's bunny hunting skills!

Have a great weekend!

Happy Stamping!

Paper Pumpkin Remix ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

My hubby and I got to sneak out of town this weekend for the 25th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb.  He climbed 69 flights of stairs, along with hundreds of other firefighters from all around the world, while I help with checking the participants in as well as helping them shed their gear at the finish line.  This is a great event and something that we both look forward to every year!  I've decided I'm going to take on those 69 flights of stairs next year for the civilian Big Climb...training starts soon!

Knowing that I was going to be busy most of the weekend and not have a lot of time to stamp, I threw my March Paper Pumpkin kit in my suitcase along with a few extra sheets of cardstock and ink pads.  I was able to put these cards together in a snap in our hotel room before we headed out for the day.  This is my favorite Paper Pumkin kit so far!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pool Party, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink ~ Pool Party, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Basic Black
Stamp Set ~ February 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Hello Sunshine, Timeless Textures
Other Supplies ~ February 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Pearl Basic Jewels

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Wendy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Wired Wednesday

I have a weakness for anything coffee related, so when I saw this stamp set and coordinating dies from Sugarpea Designs, I couldn't resist them!
There are so many cute stamps in this set and the coordinating dies make some super cute coffee cups!

I played around with the lineless watercolor technique for the cup on this first card.  I love how it turned out!

And the cup on this second card is my favorite!  It looks just like a cup of joe from my favorite coffee shop!  And that heart of coffee beans is so much fun!

Ink ~ Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Early Espresso
