Strong Coffee and Short Mondays

It's Monday...and time for an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!

This is my first Monday back to work after my summer break...send all the coffee please!  Here's to hoping my coffee is strong and my Monday is short!

With coffee on my mind, I had some colorful fun with the Latte Love Bundle (available in the Online Exclusives).  If you love coffee, this is the bundle for you!

For my first card, I die-cut and stacked a colorful assortment of coffee mugs.  I pulled in the Friends for Life bundle as well for the perfect sentiment.  And how cute is the A Little Latte DSP?  I LOVE this paper!

Isn't this French press the best? I used the outline of the Friends for Life heart for this coffee-loving birthday card.  I can't wait to send this card to someone special with a gift card to their favorite coffee shop!

Keep on hopping along to see what Charlet has to share with us. You won't be disappointed!

Happy Stamping!

Latte Love

Welcome to the February edition of Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop!  In honor of Valentine's Day, we are sharing techniques we love most!

To go along with the techniques I love most, I had to make a card with the beverage I love most...coffee!  A Little Latte Suite Collection is coming soon, but I have a sneak peek to share with you today!
The coffee splatters and drips stamped images are my favorite in the stamp set.  I added a bit more splatter with the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker...my most used technique!  Such a fun and easy way to add just a little extra to any project!

Another quick and easy technique is curled and distressed corners...another one that I frequently use! With a few swipes of the bone folder over the corners of the paper, it quickly separates to give a little added texture.

But wait...there's more techniques to share.  Tearing the edges of the paper added even more texture!  And we can't forget my all time favorite, fussy cutting!  I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso and fussy cut around each word.

I stamped the mugs in Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon, coloring them with coordinating Stampin' Blends.  The perfect coffee and cream ratio was added with Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie.  This suite is amazing!

Keep hopping along to see what technique Cheryl has to share with us next!

Confidence & Coffee ~#TGIF280 Color Challenge

Thank goodness it's Friday and time for an all new TGIF Challenges!  This pretty color challenge was just the distraction I needed after the crazy week I've had!

I'm not sure that I would have survived this week without coffee and I sure could have used a bit more confidence...so I'm keeping this card out to help get me through next week!

I dusted off my Stamparatus to stamp these cute little coffee cups in the background.  To add a bit more fun and color, I stamped the same little coffee cups on Whisper White, colored them, snipped them out and popped them on with a few mini dimensionals.

I stamped, colored and cut several of the bigger coffee cups too, but only used a couple of them.  I kept the layout pretty basic and didn't even add any embellishments.  Can you believe it?!?

Supplies Used:

Paper ~ Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White

Ink ~ Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend

Stamp Set ~ Press On

Coffee, Cookies and Chocolate

Whew...we made it to Friday!  I hope you have all had a great week and are ready to slide into the weekend!
This was my first full week back at work (last week was only partial) and it has done me in.  I am both mentally and emotionally exhausted, but also so happy to be back!  I work for our local school district, so you can only imagine how intense things are right now.  Our kiddos start back to school (remotely) on September 8th and everyone is using every possible moment to make sure this year will be a great success, no matter what our circumstance may be!
Today's card was inspired by my week and my cravings for all of my guilty pleasures.
What's better than coffee, cookies and chocolate?!?!  Nothing! And you can bet I'll be treating myself to a few of these this afternoon when I leave the office.
I love the Nothing's Better Than stamp set and adorable Love You More Than dies.  Stampin' Up! hit every weakness out there in this stamp set...it's so good!
I stamped each treat in Soft Suede and colored them with Ivory, Bronze and Rococo Rose Stampin' blends.  I created an ombre effect with the die cuts of Coffee, Cookies and Chocolate and wrapped it up with the perfect sentiment "Fill the day with all your guilty pleasures"  which is from Pattern Play stamp set.  I love how perfectly this is pairs up with these tasty little treats!

I hope you are able to fill at least part of your day with some of your favorite guilty pleasures!  Have a fantastic Friday and relaxing weekend!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Suede, Rococo Rose, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Ink ~ Soft Suede, Rococo Rose, Stampin' Blends: Ivory, Bronze, Rococo Rose
Stamp Sets ~ Nothing's Better Than, Patten Play
Other Supplies ~ Love You More Than Dies, Woven Threads Sequin Assortment

{Coffee} Perks and Thanks ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!
How are you all doing?!?!  Summer temps hit an all time high here this past week, leaving it far too hot to do much of anything outside.  As much as I love the summer sun, 109 is just too hot!  It gave me the perfect excuse not to pull weeds in the garden and have some fun in my craft room.

For those who know me well know that I LOVE coffee! The adorable new Press On stamp set was an absolute must have for me!  I paired up a couple of my favorite new In Color's...Magenta Madness and Just Jade for a couple of cheerful coffee cards to send out this week.
Of course I had to use my Stampin' Blends to color these cute cups of java. A simple layout, a few layers of card stock, a few little coffee beans and a Linen Thread bow were all this card needed.  It's always refreshing to create something simple.

Next up is a happy cup of thanks!  I created my own patterned paper by stamping the coffee cups and beans in Just Jade. I stamped the coffee cup, adding a Magenta Madness heart on the coffee sleeve,  which I outlined with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker, and colored the rest of the coffee sleeve in Crumb Cake.  I added just a splash of fun with some Magenta Madness In Color DSP, which I off-set with a small strip of Just Jade In Color DSP.  A quick sentiment, another Linen Thread bow and this card is complete!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Whisper White, 2020-2022 In Color DSP
Ink ~ Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Crumb Cake, Magenta Madness, Just Jade
Stamp Set ~ Press On
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circle Dies, Linen Thread

If you love coffee, you are going to want to add this stamp set to your must have list!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now, on to the next stop on the hop!

Happy Stamping!

We've added a list of everyone's home pages so you can hop along in any order you wish!  Just make sure you don't miss any!

Let's Hang Out Soon ~ HSSCC#336

Hi stampers!  How are you all doing?  I know that there are a lot of uncertainties in our lives right now, but one thing that will remain the same is our creativity!
Hand Stamped Sentiments  has a cheerful Color Challenge for you to play along with this week.  Take advantage of some of that extra time you have at home and join us!

Today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration...this always makes me sad.  There is just never enough time to create with all of the fun FREE items you can earn!  I think one of my favorite sets this year is Rise & Shine. I am crossing my fingers that this adorable stamp set finds its way into our 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!
I stamped one of the cute little mugs in Daffodil Delight and the other in Poppy Parade, which I stamped off once to add some happy little flowers!  The little tea tag and sentiment were stamped in Pool Party and I added another splash of Daffodil Delight in the background.
Some fun textures were added with the Coastal Weave and Ornate Floral (coming soon!) 3D embossing folders.  In true Craft-somina Momma fashion, I added a little bit of bling with the Silver Metallic Thread and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  And I can't forget the Daffodil Delight Starburst...it's like a burst of sunshine with your coffee or tea!

I know many of us are hoping to "hang out soon" with our family and friends that we have had to distance ourselves from.  I pray that the spread of this awful virus will slow soon and we can ease our way back in to our normal lives.  But for now, I will enjoy my time at home and my extra stamping time.

Happy Stamping!

Wired Wednesday

I have a weakness for anything coffee related, so when I saw this stamp set and coordinating dies from Sugarpea Designs, I couldn't resist them!
There are so many cute stamps in this set and the coordinating dies make some super cute coffee cups!

I played around with the lineless watercolor technique for the cup on this first card.  I love how it turned out!

And the cup on this second card is my favorite!  It looks just like a cup of joe from my favorite coffee shop!  And that heart of coffee beans is so much fun!

Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Mint Macaroon
Ink ~ Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Early Espresso

Reduce, Reuse, Retire

TGIF....we made it through another week!  It was another crazy-busy week for my family and next week is going to be even crazier-busier...hang on!!!   I am going to take full advantage of this weekend and enjoy a quick weekend getaway with my hubby before he heads out of town for a week.  But before we hit the road, I have a fun Friday Mashup creation that also fits in perfectly with Friday Favorites over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.
This weeks mashup challenge is to use this fun sketch by Heidi along with a favorite retired/retiring product.
My office is full of boxes right now as I have been cleaning out my stamping space, so I tore off a bit of cardboard to use for the coffee cozy and to create the grid pattern on the Baked Brown Sugar paper.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar, Lullaby DSP
Ink ~ Memento, Baked Brown Sugar
Stamp Sets ~ Perfect Blend
Other Supplies ~ Pistachio Pudding Thick Bakers Twine, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, On Film Framelits, Sweet Sadie Washi Tape

So, does this card look a little bit long to you? I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me while I was editing the photo, but after a quick check, I realized I cut my paper 1/4" longer...oops!  Thankfully I left a little bit of room at the top and bottom and was able to trim the excess and safe the card!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Happy Stamping!!!
