It's Tuesday and time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge!  This week we have a beautiful spring Inspiration Challenge for you to play along with!

Between the inspiration from this challenge and my own blooming daffodils, the Daffodil Daydream bundle was a must!
I created the background by stamping the decorative image across a piece of Basic White in Daffodil Delight.  Next up, the daffodils and butterflies were stamped in Memento, then colored with the Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.

I wrapped a bit of Linen Thread around the bundle of Daffodils and added my heat embossed and fussy cut sentiment.  Some additional texture was added with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.

Are spring flowers starting to bloom in your next of the woods?  I can't wait for the rest of my to start showing their beautiful colors!

Robot Buddies ~ Monday Montage

Hello friends and welcome to another marvelous Monday Montage Blog Hop!  I promise you will love each and every creation along the way, so don't miss a single one!

Have you seen the new Robot Buddies Kids Card Kit?  It's adorable!  I love that it's geared towards the kiddos and full of pre-cut stickers that make building robots a breeze!
In addition to all of the fun stickers, there are some super fun robot stamps to build your own robot.  I built a few of my own, fussy cutting them of course!  I added a strip of gear stickers behind them and a few single gears scattered around.  A Happy Birthday sentiment in the pre-cut word bubble was all that was left to create this quick and easy card!

This kit will be awesome for a kids class or for any of your kiddos at home!  And it would make an excellent gift for any of the crafty kiddos in your life!  Be sure to get your Robot Buddies Kids Card Kit before it's gone!

Simply Simple Cactus

I'm a little late to the TGIF Challenges Technique Challenge party, but I made it!  This past week was a bit of a challenge, but I pulled through and am getting in some creative therapy to help me recover!

Want to know a secret?  Simple Stamping is the HARDEST type of stamping for me. I always want to keep adding more and more.  Today's card actually came to me pretty easily though and reminded me that going back to basics is sometimes the best thing you can do...in all aspects of life!

I stamped this sweet and simple cactus in Evening Evergreen in a Cinnamon Cider pot.  A little Polished Pink Flower and a simple HELLO sentiment brought in just the right pop of color.

I pulled out my favorite Simply Scored Scoring tool to add a few lines around the edges.  I love how much this adds to a card!  A few Evening Evergreen In Color Jewels were the only embellishments this Cactus Cutie(s) needed to dress it up!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and that you find time to fill your cup back up...and get some stamp time in!

Brilliant Butterflies

Welcome to another Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  This week we have some pretty pastel colors for you to create with.

I pulled together several different elements and stamp sets to create this card.  This is what us stampers like to call a $100 card...so many different products used!

I inked the Butterfly Brilliance stamp in Memento then cut them out with the coordinating Brilliant Wings dies.  A bit of Fresh Freesia was added to a smaller butterfly and an intricate Mint Macaron butterfly was tucked behind.  A So Saffron circle brought just the right amount of sunshine.  A few Artist Dies leaves and some itty bitty Peach Dies flowers were scattered about, reminding me of my summer flower garden.
A bit of texture was added with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.  Some Mint Macaron Hand Penned DSP brought everything together, a bold Happiest of Birthdays sentiment and a bit of White Frayed Ribbon finished the card off.

I hope you'll join us in this challenge!  We always love seeing what you create!

Flowering Birthday Wishes ~ Monday Montage

Happy Monday and welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!

It was a chilly, but sunny weekend here and I have a bad case of spring fever!  It's a bit too early to start digging in the dirt, but I did spend some time mapping out my flower garden while I wait a few more weeks for things to warm up.  While I wait, I'll keep on playing with paper flowers!
I started out by creating a lattice white on white background, adding a bright pop of color with the Coastal Cabana boots and Polished Pink tulips.  And since I love the watering can image so much, it just had to be added too!  See the little Pebbles Enamel Shapes underneath?  I love these embellishments!

In true Craft-somnia fashion, a Sweet (Strawberry) Happy Birthday sentiment was heat embossed in white on Basic Black and fussy cut.   A few Artistry Blooms sequins added just a bit more color to finish off this sweet and simple card!

Free as a Colorful Bird

It's finally Friday and you all know what that means!  Time for a new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!

This color challenge called for an old favorite to be inked up again.  It's been a while since I've stamped anything with Free as a Bird and these colors were perfect for this stamp set!

Since there isn't a Bumblebee Stampin' Blend, I had to cheat a little.  I colored the cute little birdies with the Dark So Saffron, adding some Bumblebee shading with the Stampin' Write Marker.  I love how the birds turned out!

The tree branch was colored with Soft Suede, with a few Old Olive leaves, and the flowers with Magenta Madness Stampin' Blends.  So cheerful and springy, right?!?
I added just a bit of texture to the Basic White panel, using the Greenery embossing  folder.  A Magenta Madness mat was added to bring out the pretty flowers.  A Soft Suede card front with some tone on tone leaves stamped added just a bit more to the card.  A friendly little sentiment stamped in Soft Suede on Bumblebee, a twist of Linen thread and a couple rhinestones completed the card.

Don't these colors just make you happy?  Be sure to check out the rest of the creations from our design team and join along in the fun!

Daffodil Blessings

Hello friends!  I feel like it has been FOREVER since I last posted.  I've kind of been in a creative slump, but after deep cleaning my office this past weekend and getting everything back in order, I pulled myself out of that slump.

Inspired by the latest Global Design Project CASE the Designer Challenge and my daffodils that are just starting to peek out of the soil, I created a cheerful Easter blessing. I love the use of the Paper Lattice!

By now you should know that I love to color with the Stampin' Blends.  Daffodil Daydream Bundle was a must have, of course!

I started out by creating a soft Daffodil Delight background with an ink pad and Blending Brush.  A few Daffodil Delight splatters were stamped, then layered with a trimmed piece of Paper Lattice.  I layered the bunch of daffodils on top of the Paper Lattice, but it needed a little something more.  A die cut circle of You're A Peach DSP  was just what it needed!  The Pear Pizzazz pattern was perfect...so perfect that I layered another piece on the card front!

The bundle of daffodils was colored with Stampin' Blends in shades of Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pale Papaya.  A little bit of Linen Thread wrapped the bundle of flowers up and a few Brushed Brass Butterflies were scattered around.  Oh!  And I can't forget my heat embossed sentiment!

I've managed to keep my office clean so far this week, so hopefully you'll see more creations from me!

Happy Stamping!
