Carols of Christmas Birthday ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

We took a little break after our last hop, but we are excited to be back today and sharing our creations with you again!

I always look forward to the Holiday Catalog preorder every year because it always means a new stamp set with a deer, elk or moose!  As some of you know, my husband is a VERY avid hunter, so I make him a birthday card every year with a deer, elk or moose on it!  Today just happens to be his birthday, so I am sharing a quick little card I made for him.  I won't be able to give it to him until Tuesday though because he and our boys are living one of their dreams right now!  They are in Williamsport PA watching the Little League World Series!  Our 12 year old Walla Walla Valley All-Star team is representing the Northwest and all of my boys were lucky enough to go watch a few games.  It has been so much fun talking to them every night as they share this amazing event together.  I'm pretty sure this is the best birthday present my hubby has ever had!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Merry Little Christmas DSP
Ink ~ Basic Black
Stamp Set ~ Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Card Front Builder Thinlits, Burlap Ribbon

I love the starry sky and little deer silhouette!

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Happy Stamping!

Baseball Birthday ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

Baseball season officially ended for our family on Saturday and we are all feeling a little sad.  My boys team made it to the City Tournament for the second year in a row.  They played a hard game on Saturday, but couldn't quite pull off a win.  Third place is still something to be proud of and I am beyond proud of my boys and the positive attitude they had all season long.  We are looking forward to watching the two final teams battle it out tonight and can't wait for the Allstars tournament to start next weekend.

One of my boys' friends had a birthday this weekend, so I threw together a quick birthday card for him...a baseball card, of course!  Thanks to a fun sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, this card was a breeze to put together!

Paper ~ Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Night of Navy, Wood Textures DSP
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Real Red, Crumb Cake

#TGIFC112 Let's Hear It For The Boys

It's Friday stampin' friends!!!  And that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges!!
This week is all about the boys.  Since Father's Day is on Sunday, I decided this would be the perfect time to make a card for my hubby for Father's Day.  I don't think I've ever used the guy image from the Guy Greeting stamp set...he's a little funky looking, but since my hubby has been working so hard at getting back in shape, it seemed like the perfect image for his card!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Island Indigo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Ink ~ Basic Black, Island Indigo, Crushed Curry, Peek-a-Boo Peach, Soft Suede
Stamp Sets ~ Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ 2" Circle Punch

Be sure to head on over to TGIF and check out all of the awesome creations made by our design team and be sure to play along with us!

Happy Friday and Happy Stamping!

Urban Ungerground Birthday

Happy Monday Stampers!

And Happy 11th Birthday to my twins, Aidan and Hunter!

I will be honest...I really struggled with their birthday cards this year.  They have officially entered the tween stage, which well all know what that means...everything has to be cool, which means no more cute little boy cards.  But, never fear!  Urban Underground DSP came to my rescue and helped me in creating a couple of cards that they will {hopefully} like.

Aidan has been on a kick lately where he loves to work on his bike and wants to be a mechanic. Everything in the Urban Underground Suite in the upcoming Occasions Catalog was perfect for his card!

And being that they are twins, I always try to make them cards that are different, but also alike in some ways.  Hunter is all about hunting and can not wait to take hunters safety this spring.  The fun antlers from the new Bookcase Builder stamp set was perfect for his card!

  Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, Urban Underground DSP, Vellum
Ink ~ Basic Black, Basic Gray, StazOn
Stamp Sets ~ Urban District, Balloon Adventures, Bookcase Builder, Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Hexagon Punch*, Urban Underground Embellishments, Silver Metallic Thread, Large Number Framelits, Stitched Framelits, Best Badge Punch
*retired

Celebrating my kids birthdays is always bitter sweet...time goes by so fast and the grow up way too fast.  I love every single moment...even the crazy ones!

Happy Stamping!

You're My Anchor

Hello stampers and happy Sunday!
The end is in sight...we are in the final phases of selling our house and purchasing our new home.  I has been a long, trying and stressful 3 months for my family...mostly for my hubby.  He has taken care of all of the phone calls, the paper work and everything else involved in this who crazy process.   I would have given up weeks ago and thrown in the towel, but he has pushed through it and got us to where we are today...which is painting at the new house and packing :-)
I made a card for him yesterday to show him and tell him just how much I love him...and to avoid packing up my craft room!  I turned to Freshly Made Sketches again for some inspiration and came up with this...

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Night of Navy, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Regals DSP
Ink ~ Crushed Curry, Real Red, VersaMark
Stamp Sets ~ Guy Greetings, Seaside Shore, Playful Backgrounds
Other Supplies ~ Sunburst Thinlits, 2" Circle Punch, Brights Enamel Shapes, Night of Navy Bakers Twine

Can I just say how happy I am to have Night of Navy Bakers Twine in my stash....LOVE!!!

Now I'm off to get in a quick workout before spending the rest of the day painting and packing.  I'd much rather be stamping!

Have a great day!

Happy Stamping!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

Today we celebrate our dad's....whether they are still here with us today or in Heaven above, we celebrate them with love!

I am blessed to have an amazing dad who has taught me so much over the years.  He's picked me up when I've fallen down, helped me with countless projects, given advice (whether I asked for it or not!) and loved me no matter what.  Love you Dad!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Dapper Denim, Mint Macaron, Real Red
Ink ~ Mint Macaron, Basic Gray
Stamp Set ~ Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Banner Triple Punch, Duet Banner

My boys are equally blessed to have an amazing daddy.  Most days it feels like he is gone a lot with his job, but his days home are spent doing anything and everything with our boys! From teaching the mow the lawn, to perfecting their swing or pitch, he's there to help them out along the way.  He is their hero!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Real Red, Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Brights DSP, Silver Foil
Ink ~ Smoky Slate, Real Red, Night of Navy
Stamp Sets ~ My Hero, Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Best Badge, Duet Banner, Sparkle EF

Our twins baseball tournament was rained out yesterday and games were rescheduled for today.  We had to re-arrange our Father's Day plans a bit, but spending the day at the ball field sounds like a pretty great way to spend the day!

Happy Father's Day!

Dad's Shoes

Happy Friday stamping friends!

Father's Day is a little over a week away...where in the world does time go?  My twins just wrapped up their last day of school yesterday.  I swear they just started a few weeks ago!  Thankfully I got a head start on my Father's Day cards this year and won't be scrambling to get them done the day of :-)

I held off on getting the Guy Greetings stamp set for quite some time, but as soon as I saw that it carried over to the new catalog, I scooped it up.  I don't know why I waited for so long...it's a great masculine set!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Smoky Slate, Dapper Denim, Whisper White
Ink ~ Dapper Denim, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Basic Gray
Stamp Set ~ Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Duet Banner Punch, Brick Wall Embossing Folder

Off to work for a bit before I take the rest of the afternoon to get the house ready for another showing.  We've had some positive things happening with the sale of our house, so we are hopeful to have a sold sign up soon!

Have a fantastic Friday!

Happy Stamping!

World's Greatest Dad

Happy Monday stampin' friends!

Believe it or not, I'm kind of happy it's Monday!  We spent a better part of the weekend working on things at our house, so I'm looking forward to sitting at my desk today and getting a little "rest"!

After spending most of yesterday painting, I finally called it quits and spent a little time in my craft room and played with some ink and paper so I could play along with this month's SSINK Mystery Challenge.  I have already used up all of my 2014-2016 In Color cardstock, so I had to get a little more creative with the 3 items to use from the challenge. I decided to use the circle shape embossing folder for a masculine card...ta-daaaaa!!
I love The Open Sea stamp set and am pretty sad to see it go.  But I am pretty excited about all of the new goodies that are coming our way June 1st, so it makes losing some of my favorites a little more bearable!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Typeset DSP
Ink ~ Basic Black
Stamp Sets ~ The Open Sea, Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ World Map Embossing Folder, Circle Framelits

I have to say...I have the world's greatest dad!  He took time out of his day yesterday to help me complete a project we were working on in one of the bedrooms at our house.  I appreciate his help so much and will missing having him right next door if our house does sell!  Thanks Dad!

Happy stamping to all of you!
