Sweet {Watercolor} Baby

Spring is slowly starting to make its way in to my neck of the woods...and along with all of the flowers that will soon be blooming, spring always seems to bring lots of babies along too :-)  A good friend of mine, and Stamp Club Member, is expecting her first baby, a girl, any day now and I had her in mind when I created this card.  I love the soft colors in the Watercolor Wonder DSP and even though Calypso Coral is not one of the colors included, it still works with this pretty polka dot design.
I punched the little Petite Petals flowers from another sheet of DSP from this collection, which added just the right amount of pink softness...perfect for a sweet baby girl.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Watercolor Wonder DSP
Stamp Set ~ Baby, We've Grown
Ink ~ StazOn, Versa Mark, Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker
Other Supplies ~ Starburst Framelits, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Petite Petals Punch, Regals Candy Dots (Crushed Curry), Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon, Tea Lace Paper Doilies

I can't wait to have a new baby girl in my Stampin' family to love on soon...she is sure to be spoiled by me!!!  And I'm beyond thrilled to have an excuse to buy baby girl clothes :-)

Happy Stamping!!

  1. This is really awesome. I love how you used flowers to decorate this baby card. I wouldn't have thought to use flowers, but it worked great!
