Rustic Roses ~ Monday Montage

Hello and welcome back to another Monday Montage blog hop!  I hope you love all of the creations that all of these amazing ladies have come up with this week...I know I do!

Those of you who know me well know that I don't sit still for long...maybe that's where my son gets it from!  ;-)  I have the hardest time sitting through a full movie and an even harder time sitting in the car or flying on a plane for long periods of time.   If I have something to keep my hands busy, being stuck in one spot for hours on end is a little more tolerable.  So, knowing that we were going to be spending A LOT of time in the car this weekend, I cut out some roses using the Spiral Flower Die before we headed out of town and spent a better part of our travel time curling, shaping and crumpling the flowers.  It helped the trip go by faster and kept me from being fidgety the entire trip.

My idea for today's project stemmed from our last Monday Montage Blog Hop and I was happy to finally put my idea to work!  But now I need to figure out what to make for dinner using the diced tomatoes I opened.  Why is that I never have something like a tin can on hand when I need one?!?!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Pink Pirouette
Ink ~ Soft Suede (sponged on doily)
Other Supplies ~ Spiral Flower Die, Burlap Ribbon, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon, Crochet Trim, Linen Thread, Antique Brads, Tea Lace Doilies, Jute Twine (non-SU)

This pretty little creation was the perfect touch to complete my mantle for spring.  Now if spring would just hurry up and get here...

Now it's time to hop on over to Cathy and I promise her post will WOW you once again.  Or if you prefer to hop backwards, you can head on back to the amazing creation by Amy ...she inspires me each and every week!  Either way, just make sure you make the whole loop and don't miss any of us.  And don't forget to leave us some love on our blogs...we love hearing from you!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!
