Halloween is a month away and this weeks TGIF Challenges Theme Challenge is the perfect way to get a jump start on some treats for all the little ghosts in your life!

I love the Nested Treat Boxes from the Mini Catalog.  They are the perfect size for a few trinkets and treats or even a pair of warm fuzzy socks!  With just a bit of Them Bones DSP a super cute candy corn tag, this little treat box came together in no time. I love the Trick or Treat sentiment from Tricks & Treats...the font is so good!

Not only are there cute candy corn dies in the Tricks & Treats dies, but there are coordinating dies for the spooktacular Tricks & Treats stamped images.  The ghost is adorable, but the Frankenstein is my favorite!

Now I have a question for you.  Candy corn...take it or leave it?  I am not much of a candy consumer, but I do love candy corn season!

Rollin' Around the Roller Rink

Who remembers rolling around the roller rink on Friday nights in middle school?  It was actually the ice rink for me, but we always loved when they dimmed the lights and turned on the disco ball!

Curved Occasions is such a fun stamp set and has a little something for every occasion!

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge was the perfect sketch to bring the disco ball and skates together in some fun and retro colors!

Parakeet Party, Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon and Berry Burst...sooo good together! These colors have a definite Barbie vibe to them too.  So many childhood memories wrapped up in this stamp set!

Roller skating isn't just for the girls! Pumpkin Pie, Parakeet Party, Azure Afternoon and Daffodil Delight have an 80's vibe for sure!  The stars from Reach for the Stars dies match up perfectly with the disco ball starts.  I love finding multiple uses for our products!

Welcome to another amazing Monday Montage blog hop!

Fall officially rolled in this weekend...perfect timing to play with this months With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin kit.  The little bags and 3x3 cards are so cute and all of the fall images are beauti-FALL!  

One of my favorite things about the Paper Pumpkin kits are the alternative projects that can be created.  We celebrated my momma's birthday on Sunday evening and I created this adorable little gift bag using a few extra supplies. 

I cut the flap off of the bag to turn into a tag.  A Happy Birthday sentiment from Sentimental Park fit perfectly in the little banner.  A bit of Copper Clay Textured Ribbon made the perfect handles for bag. Doesn't it tie all of the fall colors in so well?  Anyone else keep the tissue from the Paper Pumpkin boxes?!?  I always have a use for it!

I couldn't stop with one alternative project though...

I cut apart a couple of the gift bags, 3x3 cards and envelopes to create some beautiful fall cards that will be perfect for sharing thanks and gratitude!

The delicate gold lining on the banner tags are the perfect compliment to the all of the greens and golds of the fall foliage.

With fall comes all things pumpkins, right?  I love how soft and subtle these pumpkin images are.  And it's even better that these colors all happen to match my fall decor! I still have some bits and pieces left that just might be used for a home decor piece...stay tuned!

Grateful for You

Do you love inspiration challenges?  If you do, we have a beautiful challenge for you this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I love all of the warm fall colors in these images!

I couldn't help but ink up this beautiful floral image from Fruitful Blessings again and bringing in all of the colors from the inspiration photos.  Our 2023-2025 In Colors were meant to be for fall creations!  Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Boho Blue were the main colors I was drawn to, along with some Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Ivory.  So pretty!

Do you spy some new paper as well?  The Tartan Foil is a current Online Exclusive that you are going to want to add to your paper stash for your fall and winter creations.  It's so pretty!

Merry & Bright Monday

Hello stamping friends!  It's time for another Merry Monday!  I've missed a couple weeks, but I'm getting back on track thanks to this weeks Global Design Project Case the Designer Challenge.

I chose to case the sketch of this card because I love the sweet simplicity of it. And because it was perfect for the Merry & Bright string of lights!

I am all about bold and bright colors for Christmas!  The colorful rainbow of stripes pattern from the Merry Bold & Bright DSP is one of my favorites and was just perfect to peek out behind the string of lights.

How cute are these light bulbs?  I love all of the cute elements and details in the Merry & Brights dies!

Two Bears, One Punch

Happy Friday friends!  This weeks TGIF Challenges is a fun one! How would you take one card and make it in two different ways?  Different stamps, different paper, different colors?  The possibilities are endless!

I chose one Beary Cute punch for two different DSP's.  Did you know the Beary Cute punch works for the Beary Christmas AND A Walk in the Forest DSP?!?  I love it when products coordinate in multiple ways! 

I already had the brown bear and tree cut out from A Walk in the Forest DSP, along with the three strips of snowflake paper, so I cleared them from my desk to create a simple little design.  All I had to do was heat emboss the Beary Cute sentiment and add a few embelliments!

I also had this adorable polar bear in a sweater in my scrap bin, so I added a quick fussy cut Beary Christmas DSP tree to match the first card. Three more strips of DSP were cut, another sentiment was heat embossed and this card was complete!  After a few embellishments as well!

It's always so much fun to take one design to make multiple cards!

Let's Take a Walk

Welcome to the September edition of Around the World on Wednesday!  This month we are sharing our favorite walks in life. Whether it be a walk with a friend or family member, a walk in the great outdoors or even a walk down memory lane...join us on our favorite walks!

It took me a bit to figure out what stamp set to use for this challenge before I decided on Coffee with Friends.  You may be wondering how this is linked to a favorite walk in life...

During our Covid shut down in 2020, a group of co-workers and myself met near every morning to walk together at our local park.  These walks not only kept us moving, but kept us connected in a time where there was so little connection.  Our walks would often lead us to some of our favorite coffee shops, where we could take a break outside to enjoy a cup of coffee along the way.

I've kept things pretty simple with this card, focusing on coloring the image of the friends gathered on the park bench, enjoying their favorite coffee drink.  I fussy cut the colored image and popped it up on a piece of Basic White, blended with the softest touch of Pool Party.  I love the added depth it brings to such a simple card.

The Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and white striped pattern of Les Shoppes was just the perfect pop of extra color.  Do you spy the cute cups of coffee and croissants in the background too? They look good enough to eat!

Grateful for Fruitful Blessings

 

It's time for another marvelous Monday Montage blog hop!  It's always a treat to see what all of these amazing stampers create each and every hop!

Summer is quickly fading to fall and Fruitful Blessings does a beautiful job of capturing the changing of the seasons.  My zinnias are still in full bloom and the acorns are starting to fall...all the inspiration I needed for this beautiful bundle!

I started out by stamping and coloring all of the images on a sheet of Very Vanilla, cutting them out with the Fruitful Blessings Dies.  Then came the fun of assembling them on a few different cards.

The Petal Patterns Dies added some fun design and texture to go along with the juicy pears. And the Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon...oh my goodness, I'm going to need more of it!  Do you spy the cute little Speckled Dots?  Love them!

These floral images are my favorite!  It's like my flower garden has come to life on paper!  Another Petal Patterns die created the perfect floral background for these beautiful blooms.  More of the Black & Vanilla Ribbon and a few In-Color Dots were the perfect final touches.

Last up is a festive fall wreath, hanging by (you guessed it!) more Black & Very Vanilla Check Ribbon.  I love the Hello Friend sentiment...so cute!  I need a door-sized wreath just like this for my front door!

Are you hanging on to the final days of summer or are you anxiously awaiting fall? I love the transition from summer to fall, but I'm always sad to see summer come to an end.

A Garden Walk

Welcome to the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge!  This is such a fun and unique sketch. I love it so much that I made two cards!

I wanted to showcase one of the new DSP's from the annual catalog, which is now live!  I always love a pack of paper that has patterns for all occasions.  Have you seen the Garden Walk DSP yet?  Let me introduce you to it...

I started out with the Calypso Coral floral pattern, cutting three strips to go along with the sketch.  I started out creating the frame with the Deckled Rectangle dies, but had a lightbulb moment and switched to the Countryside Corners stamp set and dies.

The Cheerful Daisies dies were perfect to add to the bottom corner, layering Calypso Coral and Basic White.  A little Garden Green sprig and a sweet sentiment completed the card.

I couldn't stop there though!  I'm pretty sure I could make this same card with every pattern of paper in this pack...it's so beautiful!  I chose the poinsettia pattern for the three strips of paper.  Isn't it gorgeous?

The Cheerful Daisies dies worked with this pattern as well, using Wild Wheat and Poppy Parade for the layers.  So pretty!

Rainbow of Planets

Greetings friends!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It's always a great start to any day for me when it starts with stamping.

Reach for the Stars made it my way on accident, but it has ended up being a very happy accident!  After receiving the stamp set in error, I just had to add the coordinating Reach for the Stars dies and Stargazing DSP as well.  This is such a fun suite!

Inspired by this weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge, I created a rainbow of planets.  Don't you love all of these bold colors?!?

What do I love most about the Reach for the Stars dies?  The circle dies!!!  They made cutting the planets so quick and easy.  I forgot to add the Holographic Trio paper, but the Silver Foil works just as well.  Use what you have, right?!?

When you have DSP that steals the show, very little stamping is required!  The sentiments were stamped in Orchid Oasis and fussy cut, of course.  Since I wanted to use ALL of the stamps in this stamp set, I stamped the space shuttle on an envelope, along with a few stars.  This will be some happy mail for sure!

I'm hoping to get a lot of stamping in on this long weekend...but I promised myself I would clean my craft room first.  Wish me luck!

Ringed with Colorful Nature

It's Friday and that means it's time for another TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!  It's also September 1st, which means fall is on its way.  I love the warmness of these colors and chose the beautiful flowers and foliage from Ringed with Nature for this challenge.

I stamped the floral and foliage images on a piece of Very Vanilla, creating my own DSP.  Don't you love it when you can do that?!?  I added a Tree Rings wooden round, along with a few fussy cut flowers and a few other bits and pieces of foliage.

The Timber 3D embossing folder added a bit more texture in the back ground, along with some of my favorite Linen Thread.  The Tinsel Gems added just the right amount of glitter to a card that leaves me feeling warm and cozy.  The perfect way to let someone know you are thinking about them!
