NASA Roomies

It's time for an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop...welcome!

I was so blessed to spend my time in Houston at OnStage with five of our very own Monday Montage team members.  Myself, Charlet, Wendy, Cheryl, Dani and our newest team member, Rae Jean all rented a house together.  When in Houston, you have to rent a NASA themed house right?!?
And when you rent a NASA themed house, you have to make NASA themed pillow gifts!  After finding these Seattle Chocolate Moon Rocks chocolate bars, I created a fun wallet style treat holder using the Stargazing DSP along with the Reach for the Stars bundle. An astronaut, space shuttle and a few planets decorated the belly band to keep the chocolate bar all wrapped up.

I found some fun NASA socks and moon cheese to include in their gift boxes, which were tagged with this fun moon-walking astronaut.

When I saw the house we rented was NASA themed, I mean every single room was decorated. It feel like we were at our own space station! It was so much fun spending time with all of these amazing humans.  Our time was far too short, but we squeezed in as much fun as we could in our short time together, including squeezing 7 people into a Tesla...that's a story for another day!

Hop on over to see what Cathy has to share with us!

Rainbow of Planets

Greetings friends!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It's always a great start to any day for me when it starts with stamping.

Reach for the Stars made it my way on accident, but it has ended up being a very happy accident!  After receiving the stamp set in error, I just had to add the coordinating Reach for the Stars dies and Stargazing DSP as well.  This is such a fun suite!
Inspired by this weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge, I created a rainbow of planets.  Don't you love all of these bold colors?!?
What do I love most about the Reach for the Stars dies?  The circle dies!!!  They made cutting the planets so quick and easy.  I forgot to add the Holographic Trio paper, but the Silver Foil works just as well.  Use what you have, right?!?
When you have DSP that steals the show, very little stamping is required!  The sentiments were stamped in Orchid Oasis and fussy cut, of course.  Since I wanted to use ALL of the stamps in this stamp set, I stamped the space shuttle on an envelope, along with a few stars.  This will be some happy mail for sure!

I'm hoping to get a lot of stamping in on this long weekend...but I promised myself I would clean my craft room first.  Wish me luck!

Happy Stamping!

Stargazing Fun on Wheels

Hello, hello!  Our Monday Montage crew is back with another creative and crafty hop!  Be sure to hop along all the way through so you don't miss a single inspiring project!

I had the opportunity to ink up the Fun on Wheels stamp set when Wendy was visiting last month.  I had so much fun that I had to add it to my own stamping collection.  Stamping friends are the best enablers!

Pairing these fun modes of transportation up with the bright and colorful Stargazing DSP is an absolute WIN!  This is such a fun stamp set for all the 'tween birthdays my kiddos friends.
I went with the plant pattern of DSP for this first card, with a few circles of city streets stamped on Basic White.

I swapped out the DSP for a full background of city streets for the second card, using DSP for circles.
It's always fun to use the same sketch, but swap a few things out to create a totally different look!  Thanks to another great Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for this fantastic sketch!
Follow along with the rest of the hop by clicking on the Next or Back buttons below. I promise you will love ALL of the projects!
Thanks for hopping along!

Happy Stamping!
