Regarding Dahlias with Sympathy

The ladies over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiraiton are heating things up today...heat embossing things up, that is!

Heat embossing was one of the very first stamping techniques I learned and it has always been one of my favorites.  I love to watch the embossing powder turn in to a shiny, embossed image as you heat it!

I embossed the dahlias with clear embossing powder on the Soft Sky card stock, creating the tone-on-tone look.  I then embossed a single dahlia with white embossing powder on Whisper White card stock and colored it in using my Aqua Painter and Soft Sky ink.  I love the way the Aqua Painter helped to create such a pretty flower!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Sky, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink ~ VersaMark
Stamp Sets ~ Regarding Dahlias, Best of Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Paper Snips

Thanks for stopping by today!

Be sure to check out the rest of the heat embossing awesomeness from the rest of the SSInk design team...you'll be INKspired to go CREATE something of your own!

Happy Stamping!
