Rainbow of Greetings

 Happy Sunday stampers!

I am wrapping up the last little bit of my winter break and am so grateful for the time off with my family these past two weeks.  I would be telling a big fat lie if I said that I was ready to go back to work, but I am kind of looking forward to all of us getting back into our routine. However, I will miss all of the extra time I've had in my craft room...it's been a very productive couple of weeks!
When I placed my pre-order, the Love You Always suite was not yet available, but the beautiful black and white True Love DSP was and I just HAD to have it.  All of those beautiful blooms were just BEGGING to be colored!
I spent some time coloring many of the blooms, then fussy cutting them out.  I sat down this afternoon to create a stack of Thank You, Birthday and Thinking of You cards.  Just look at this rainbow of greetings!

I am a sucker for anything in black and white...and when you add a pop of color, it is even better!

Once the flowers were all cut out, I was able to put these cards all together in no time!  It was fun mixing up a few of the DSP patterns.
I used sentiments from Peaceful Moments and Butterfly Gala, which I paired up with the Tasteful Labels dies. And you know I can't have a card without a little bit of bling...some Rhinestone Basic Jewels were just the perfect final touch for each of these cards!
I'm pretty sure I used all shades of red, pink and purple Stampin' Blends, along with a few others, to color all of the flowers.  I'm sure I will be breaking out another sheet of this DSP soon to color even more!

I hope your New Year is off to an amazing start!

Happy Stamping!

Mother's Day Trio ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day and had the chance to celebrate the important women in your life.  My boys, with the help of my hubby, made sure I had a nice day!  We spent a restful day at home and enjoyed a nice dinner with our momma's and aunt...a perfect day in my book!
I'm not only blessed with my own mom, but with two mother-in-laws as well!  It was fun creating these cards for them this year.

Last month's Paper Pumpkin had some beautiful stamps that were perfect for Mother's Day.  I love the stamp to create the tree.  I had a few left over tree trunks from the kit, which I dressed up with the Frosted Flower Embellishments.  The little butterfly stamp was just what I needed for a cute boarder along the edge.

Next up is a card with some watercolored butterflies and some pretty layers of color.  I always forget how fun it is to combine Whisper White and Very Vanilla.

My final card was created with the beautiful Ornate Garden Specialty DSP and Stampin' Blends...color therapy for me and a beautiful Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law.  That's a win for both of us!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Petal Pink, Old Olive, Best Dressed DSP, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
Ink ~ Petal Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Granny Apple Green
Stamp Sets ~ April 2020 Paper Pumpkin, Strong & Beautiful, Butterfly Gala
Other Supplies ~ Linen Thread, Frosted Flower Embellishments, Iridescent Sequin Assortment

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now, on to the next stop on the hop!

Happy Stamping!

We've added a list of everyone's home pages so you can hop along in any order you wish!  Just make sure you don't miss any!

#TGIFC256 Suite Inspiration

Happy Friday stampers! Who is ready for an all new TGIF Challenges to help distract them for all of the chaos in our world right now?  I know I am!  Join us as we have fun with the Best Dressed Suite!
Being the mom of 3 boys, I am not much of a girly-girl momma, BUT I love the Best Dressed DSP!  The floral patterns are my favorite, but the flip side patterns are perfect for my love of fussy cutting!
I have been focusing on "just a note" or "thinking of you" cards to send out to our staff during our school closures to let them know that we are all thinking of them and appreciate all of the work they are still putting in with our kiddos out of the classroom. This sentiment from Butterfly Gala was just what these beautiful flowers needed.  I can't wait to send this out to one of our teachers next week!
The So Very Vellum Specialty DSP paired up beautifully with the Best Dressed DSP!  I'm hoping we see more vellum like this in the future!

Even though I am a boy mom, I still love me a fun pair of shoes and some fun cosmetics!  These images were so much fun to cut out and the sentiment, also from Butterfly Gala, was just perfect!  I love that you can coordinate all of our products!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Purple Posey, Lovely Lipstick, Whisper White, Best Dressed DSP, So Very Vellum DSP
Ink ~ Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Set ~ Butterfly Gala
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles Dies, 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots, Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots

During these times of uncertainty, I am so thankful for a creative outlet to help take my mind off of everything that is happening around us!  I hope you are doing well during this time!

Happy Stamping!

#tgifc200 On the Wings of Inspiration - Bunches of Butterflies

Hello Friday!  We have survived our second week of the "Snowpocalypse" and it looks like we may be entering week 3...gross!  Doesn't Mother Nature know it's baseball season?!?!
It's a good thing we have a spring-feeling TGIF Challenges for our 200th Challenge this week.  It's all about butterflies!  I can't wait to see the bright and colorful butterflies soon!

Stampin' Up! has provided us with some beautiful coordinating products in this years Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs!  The Butterfly Gala stamp set and Botanical Butterfly DSP are so GOOD!  I love that they punch pairs up with some of the DSP images.  I know the punch is unavailable at this time, but rumor is that it will be in the 2019-2020 annual catalog.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Botanical Butterfly DSP, Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet
Ink ~ VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Butterfly Gala, Incredible Like You
Other Supplies ~ Butterfly Duet Punch, Petal Burst Embossing Folder, Faceted Dots, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon

I am so sad that they Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil paper is no longer available as a Sale-A-Bration reward.  Maybe this is another great product that we will see again in the annual catalog...fingers crossed!  I used a bit of the Grapefruit Grove under my sentiment and for a little added touch to my butterfly.  Swoon!
The Grapefruit Grove Faceted Dots were just right for tying everything together on this fluttery-butterfly card!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'm sending warm wishes to everyone who is suffering through this late winter and I hope you'll send some my way too!

Happy Stamping!

Chosen Family

Hi Stampers!
Mr. Groundhog is proving to be a big, fluffy liar this year!  Just a few days after predicting an early spring, we have been hit with below freezing temps and SNOW!  Snow in February...GROSS!  I am so ready for the cold, gray weather to go away and the warm, sunny days to come back.  On top of the yucky weather, I'm home with a sick kiddo today :-(  While he's laying low, watching some of his favorite shows, I'm enjoying a little quiet time in my craft room!  I'll take it!

While I wait out our winter weather, I'll make the best of it with some spring-like creations.  Inspired by the amazing Artisan Design Team Member, Jennifer Picard, I cased her beautiful card using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Part Of My Story.  I love all of the sentiments in this set, especially the You're My Chosen Family stamp.  This sentiment is so true for so many special people in my life!  Stampin' Up! gave us some awesome products in this years Sale-A-Bration catalog, many of which I have used on today's card.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Petal Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Botanical Butterfly DSP
Ink ~ Memento, Petal Pink
Stamp Sets ~ Butterfly Gala, Part of My Story
Other Supplies ~ Butterfly Elements, Starburst Punch, Animal Friends Thinlits, Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, Gold Metallic Thread, Butterfly Duet Punch

This card is going out to my best friend, Erica, who moved away to Texas a few months ago.  She may not be related by blood, but she is most definitely my chosen family...my sister, who I miss so much!  I'm counting down the days until I get to see her in July!

I've got a little time left before I have to go pick up my older boys from school.  I think I'll have just enough time to squeeze in another card or two.  While I don't like any of my kids being sick, having a day off at home in the middle of the week isn't too bad.

Happy Stamping!

Freshly Made Butterfly Gala

Today is the day!!!  The 2019 Occasions Catalog is here and it's time for Sale-A-Bration too!   If you haven't received your catalog yet, be sure to let me know so I can get one to you!

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge was not one I could pass up!  I had a hard time deciding which stamp set to use for this sketch...it brought so many ideas to mind! You can guarantee that I'll be using this sketch for a few more creations.
I did finally decide on Butterfly Gala and the beautiful Botanical Butterfly DSP. I love that Stampin' Up! has paired Occasions Catalog items with Sale-A-Bration items.  And this DSP...it makes me swoon!  I love the colorful images on one side with the bold black and white images on the other.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Grapefruit Grove, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Botanical Butterfly DSP
Ink ~ Memento
Stamp Set ~ Butterfly Gala
Other Supplies ~ Butterfly Duet Punch, Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Layering Circles Framelits, Tufted Embossing Folder

Did you know you can take this beautiful DSP...
...and use the Butterfly Duet Punch to punch out the beautiful butterflies?
Don't be afraid to cut up or punch out your DSP!!!  The creative possibilities are endless!
I couldn't let these pretty little things go to waste, so I made a second card!

I'm enjoying the last couple days of my winter break and getting in as much stamping time as I possibly can! Keep on checking back as I have lots of new, and old, things to share with you!

Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Gala for Any Stamper

Happy Monday stamping friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!  How many of you braved the Black Friday shopping?  I hope you found some amazing deals amongst all the chaos :-D  We were on the road back home from Council ID on Friday, so there was no shopping for me.  But you can bet that I will be partaking in some Cyber Monday shopping today!  Don't forget you can still save 10% off select stamps and kits in the Annual Catalog through the end of today!

It was absolutely beautiful here this weekend, which made it very hard to stay inside.  I wanted to be outside in the {kind of} warm sun all day, but I did get in some good stamping time on Sunday.  I inked up the new Butterfly Gala stamp set from the upcoming Occasions Catalog and gave #simplestamping a try.  Let me tell you...this is far from simple for me, but something I need to do more often!  I'm loving the black and white with just a splash of color from the Botanical Butterfly DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!
I stepped things up just a bit with my next card for the casual stamper.  I sponged a bit of color onto the butterflies and added a few of the adorable Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
And then for the avid stamper...this is the world I live in!  I always want to add more layers and textures and embellishments!  I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF for some texture, added some leaves with the Leaf Punch and added some sequins and Silver Metallic Thread for a little extra bling.  The heat embossed sentiment was the final touch to tie everything together.  What do you think!

This will be a card I will make at my January Stamp Club, but I will be using the simple stamper card for an upcoming Coffee and Cards class for new customers.  I love that these three types of stamping were the focus at OnStage at the beginning of the month!  It's always a great reminder to go back to the basics to when it comes to customers who are new to stamping.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Botanical Butterfly DSP (SAB)
Ink ~ Memento, Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue
Stamp Set ~ Butterfly Gala (2019 Occasions)
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF, Leaf Punch, Silver Metallic Thread, Butterfly Duet Punch and Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins (2019 Occasions)

Whether you are a simple stamper, a casual stamper or an avid stamper, this is a stamp set you will LOVE!  This Two-Step stamp set and coordinating punch are a must have for any stamper!

Here's to a great week!

Happy Stamping!
