...out comes the sun!
This was the story of my day! The skies opened up this morning just as I got home from my run and poured for a good hour. After a few more hours of clouds, the sun finally popped out! Warm weather is on it's way, just in time for Easter weekend :)
Today's weather inspired me to pull out my Bootiful Occasions stamp set and have some fun! With some sketch help from the great ladies over at Hand Stamped Sentiments and a fun framelits idea from Mindy Backes, I created this:
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Marina Mist, Whisper White, Sunshine & Sprinkles
Ink ~ Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight
Stamp Sets ~ Bootiful Occasions, Sunshine (single stamp)
Other Supplies ~ Ovals Collection Framelits, Labels Collection Framelits, Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch
I used the cute little sunshine from the "You" in the Sunshine stamp...love it! And I love this DSP...coordinates so well with this cute boot stamp.
I hope any clouds you had today turned into sunshine and made your day!
Off to watch my kiddos race their grand prix cars. They worked on them all weekend and are so proud of their work. I'm pretty darn proud of them too :)
Happy Stamping!

ReplyDeleteVery Cute!!! Love the color combo- so bright and cheerful!!! Perfect spring card!!! Thanks for playing along wtih HSS, Diane
ReplyDeleteAt least you can run outside! We got 14 inches of snow so even though it's been sunny and semi decent outside I can't get to the sidewalks :-) I want to run outside SO bad! It's melting pretty good now so hopefully maybe I can tomorrow!!! And glad it waited until you were done to rain :-) I LOVE this card it's so cheery and fun and those umbrellas and that boot work perfectly together! Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
ReplyDeleteSO CUTE! I love the boot image and it coordinates with dsp so well. Great combo! Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, and I love that Framelits layering. I miss my old basic ovals and circles, and that's a clever way to work them in. Your color scheme is so bright and cheerful, too. An excellent card for encouragement. Thanks for playing with us at HSS! Erika
