Keep Calm...

...and hit the beach!  If I had my way, I'd live closer to the ocean so I could have my toes in the sand every day!  Nothing beats the sights and sounds of the ocean...it's my calm place :)  Growing up, my parents took me to the Washington and Oregon coast every year for vacation.  Now that I have kids of my own, we take our annual family vacations along the Oregon coast too!  In just a few short weeks we will be spending a little over a week in Pacific City, OR....just can't wait!!

This weeks Inspiration Challenge at HandStamped Sentiments is Beach/Pacific Coast HWY...the best beaches are found along this coast line!!  Sadly, I do not have any current beach related stamp sets, but I do have one of my favorites from a few years ago...Do the Hula.  I love the surfboard stamp in this set!  I have never surfed, but it is something that is on my bucket list.  Maybe I can check that off this year...maybe!!
I've been on a edgelit and punch kick these past few weeks.  There are so many fun things you can do with them.  Here's what I had fun creating today:
HSSIC128
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Gumball Green
Ink ~ Stampin' Write Markers in Melon Mambo, Gumball Green & Midnight Muse.  Crumb Cake was sponged around the sand castle and sand.
Stamp Set ~ Do the Hula (retired)
Other Supplies ~ Adorning Accent Edgelits (ocean waves), Finishing Touches Edgelits (top of sand castle), Bitty Banners Framelits (flag on top of sand castle), 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch, Word Window Punch (sand castle)

Can't wait to get my toes in the sand!  Looking forward to a week of family fun, relaxation and of course some stamping!

Happy Stamping Friends!
