Countryside Baby Celebrations

Welcome to another marvelous Monday Montage blog hop!

I have quite the mashup of supplies for this somewhat simple card...that's the joy of having a craft room full of fun supplies!

I love, love, LOVE the Countryside Inn DSP, especially the cute little critter pattern.  I paired this up with the sweet and simple stripes and dots DSP pattern with the coordinating Countryside Corners dots.

These sweet little critters have a definite baby vibe, so I brought in sentiments from Sentimental Park to celebrate a new baby.  I added some sweet little Darling Details die-cut flowers for the perfect embellishment.

Sweet, simple and oh-so-cute...just like a newborn baby!

Warm Hello

It's time for a fun new sketch over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  There are so many creative possibilities with this sketch!

As I get closer to the end of my summer break, I find myself longing for a trip to the beach.  Sadly, it's going to have to wait a few months.  But thanks to the Circle Saying's stamp set, I can at least create the beach!

Lemon Lolly, Boho Blue and Basic White are quickly becoming one of my favorite color combos.  So clean and fresh!

I stamped the ocean waves in Memento on Basic White, then colored with Stampin' Blends.  I had a few Lemon Lolly sunburst circles left over from another project that happened to be perfect for layering on this card.

Boho Blue DSP on one side and embossed Lemon Lolly on the other side added some fun color and texture behind the ocean scene.  And don't forget the Boho Blue ribbon and embellishments!

I hope you'll join along in the fun with our latest Sketch Challenge!

Let's Go Camping

This weeks TGIF Challenges Theme Challenge is all about taking a little trip! We just got home from a camping trip with our Fire Department family and it was the best!  There is something to be said about being off grid and out in nature!

These adorable little critters from Zoo Crew DSP are all set for camping!  Roasting marshmallows, taking a hike or just enjoying the scenery are some of my favorite camping activities.  The Alphabet A La Mode Dies created a giant sentiment...my favorite!

When you have DSP that's this cute, no stamps or embellishments are required!

Are you traveling anywhere fun this summer?

Gorgeously Made Thank You

I finally found the courage to open up the beautiful pack of Masterfully Made DSP.  This paper is absolutely gorgeous and I was almost too afraid to cut any of it.  I'm so happy I got past that fear!

Following along with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches design, I used the bold and vivid rose pattern for the background and toned it down just a bit with the softness of the Fresh Freesia pattern.

After using the Gorgeously Made Dies when my friend Wendy was visiting, I had to add both the dies AND the stamp set to my collection.  The fun spiral notebook and ragged edge dies are awesome and the sprigs add some amazing texture!

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Basic White.  I love how the bright the white is against all of the other beautiful colors of the DSP.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sending Sunshine

This weeks Global Design Project Theme Challenge is all about the stripes!  I love all things with stripes, so of course I had to play along!

I love polka dots almost as much as I love stripes, so I had to add two fun patterns from the amazing pack of Delightfully Eclectic DPS! But I didn't stop there...inspired by the amazing Melody Hyde, I fussy cut a couple of these fun flowers from another pattern.

A couple of friends have had some tough losses, so I thought they could use a little happy mail to add a little sunshine to their day.  Sending Smiles stamp set and coordinating Sending Dies are perfect for an occasion like this.

With all of the fun patterns, just a few Tinsel Gems (3 pack) were the only embellishments needed!
