Thank Your Boss

Did you remember that tomorrow is Bosses Day?  Are you doing anything to thank your boss?  I am so lucky to have a pretty amazing boss who goes above and beyond to make sure things are always going well in our department, brings us treats every month at our staff meetings and just an all around super nice guy.  All of the people in our department make sure we put together a nice little gift for our boss each year and I am always happy to make a card :-)

I knew I wanted to use the cute little tie from the Something for Baby stamp set...my boss wears a tie every single day and they are always so nice!  Being that it's Wednesday, I checked out the latest sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches and Jen T. had a great sketch that was perfect for this card!

Shiny Happy Thank You ~ Monday Montage



Hi friends!  We're back again with another fabulous blog hop!  I look forward to each and every hop with all of these talented ladies...they amaze me every single time!

It's been a cloudy, windy, rainy sort of weekend here and I needed a little bit of sunshine in my day, so I created a little of my own in my craft room.

Don't you love how the gold embossing can just make a simple card GLOW?!?!?  While it may be a dreary day here, this card brightens up my day a little and I hope it does the same for you!

Color Me {Cajun} Craze ~ Sylin' Stampin' INKspiration Color Challenge

Golden {Crisp} Cantaloupe Thanks

Hello and Happy Friday!!!  I have never been too fond of gold, but over the past few months I can honestly say that it is really starting to grow on me!  I have been adding little touches of gold here and there to many of my creations and I may have even bought a few new pieces of gold jewelry :-)  After seeing the amazing creations created by Kaitlyn in our Monday Montage Blog Hop, I was so inspired even more to create with gold! 

I used the latest sketch from the great design team over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday to help get me started...

Crisp Cantaloupe is one of my favorite new colors right now and it is GORGEOUS with gold!!!

I embossed the Positively Chevron on the core'dinations card stock and LOVE how it turned out!
