Happy Sunday stampin friends! It's a cold and dreary day here, but it's a HAPPY day because I got to STAMP! I have been putting in lots of extra hours at work the past few weeks, which has cut into my early morning stamping time...BOO! After my stamp club this morning, I quickly cleaned up and took advantage of the last little bit of my little guys nap time and played along with the latest Freshly Made Sketches.
I often times get carried away with adding layers upon layers and lots of embellishments to my cards, so it's always nice to rein things in and keep things clean and simple, which is why I LOVE to play along with Freshly Made Sketches whenever I can.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, Home for Christmas DSP
Ink ~ Real Red
Stamp Set ~ Happy Scenes
Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Large Oval Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Home for Christmas Enamel Dots
After seeing the adorable holly leaves that the amazing Cindy Schuster made, I just HAD to give them a try! Check out the video on her blog to see just how easy these are to make!
I absolutely LOVE the Home for Christmas DPS and may be hoarding a few packs to keep for years to come. All of the images that you can cut out are the BEST!
Sadly, my stamping time for today is over. I am hopeful that my work schedule may allow for a bit more stamping this week, but knowing that we are nearing the end of the year, my stamping time may be limited to weekends only for the next few weeks. I'll take what I can get and be happy though, because even though my job is crazy busy right now, I am so blessed to have a job that I {most days} love!
Here's to a great week for all of you!
Happy Stamping!
beautiful holiday card!
ReplyDeleteAdorable, Bree! I love that sweet deer, and I love how you've kept this so clean. I can't remember what your work occupation is, but I'm sorry it's cutting in to your stamping time. However, it looks like you're making the most of it -- beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Love this one, Bree! Perfect combination of elements for this sketch. Glad to see you this week at FMS!
