Happy Monday friends! Did you find any time to stamp this weekend or were you out enjoying the last official weekend of summer? I managed to do a little of both...yay!!!
I broke down and got the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and coordinating Wonderful Wreath Framelits...love them! I kept telling myself I didn't need them, but I just couldn't resist! And after making this card, I'm pretty happy that I had that weak moment ;)
I found my inspiration for this card in two different challenges...CAS(E) This Sketch for the layout and The Friday Mashup for a little stitching fun!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Flower Pot DSP
Ink ~ Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Sets ~ Wondrous Wreath, Good Greetings (Hostess Set)
Other Supplies ~ Wonderful Wreath Framelits, Burlap Ribbon, Naturals Chevron Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Sewing Machine
I clearly need to play with my sewing machine more often and work on sewing in a straight line...the crooked stitches just add to the card, right?!?! ;-) And you can see below the fun sketch...I'll be using this one again for sure!
Beautiful! I love that pretty wreath! Great take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic fall card! The papers, the burlap...it all just goes together seamlessly!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at The Friday Mashup.
Haha! The straight line business gets me every time! This card is gorgeous, though! I love all the rich, fall colors.
ReplyDeleteBreelin, a perfect Fall themed card- bright but also earthy at the same time just like fall. Love the texture added with the burlap. Thanks for sharing with the Friday Mashup by stitching it up!
ReplyDeletelove the warm colors and the burlap piece. beautiful card! thanks for joining us this week at CAS(E) This Sketch!
ReplyDeleteBreelin, this is a wonderful fall card. I just had ladies at my stamp a stack tonight asking if this set could be used for something other than Christmas. I told them most definitely and your card proves it. :) Thanks for playing along with us at the Friday Mashup.
