Urban Underground Congrats

We are getting SO CLOSE to the launch of the 2017 Occasions Catalog!  Are you loving what you've seen so far?
The team at SSINK is back at it today with the Urban Underground Suite.  I think this my favorite suite of the whole catalog!  I love the images, the colors and all of the other amazing products!  It's perfect for all of the masculine creations you may need throughout the year!

One of my co-workers needed a retirement card for her husband, who just happens to be a HUGE Idaho Vandals fan.  The Urban Underground DSP colors were PERFECT for this card!

Mystery Supply Exchange

The girls over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration are back this month with another Mystery Supply Exchange post and this one was just as much fun as last month!  What is a Mystery Supply Exchange post?  Each design team member that participates is give the name of another design team member and we are to send that person 3 items.  These items can be anything from paper to embellishments and everything in between!  Then we have to create something with the 3 items that we receive...so much fun!
I forgot to take a picture before I started creating this card, but Leanne of Literally my Joy sent me a piece of the English Garden DSP, some Melon Mambo buttons from the Brights Collection and a strip of the Natural Chevron Ribbon. I do not have any of the English Garden DSP, so I was super excited to create with it! Thanks Leanne!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, English Garden DSP
Ink ~ Melon Mambo, Blackberry Bliss,
Stamp Sets ~ Tin of Cards, Choose Happiness
Other Supplies ~ Natural Chevron Ribbon, Linen Thread, Brights Collection Buttons, Lots of Labels Framelis, Rhinestone Basic Jewles

I will admit, the first time we did this Mystery Supply Exchange, I was totally stressed, but now I LOVE it and can't wait to do it again!

Be sure to check out all of the other INKspiring creations from our team today!

A Hunting We Will Go

It's Friday and fall is in the air...and in my house, fall means hunting season! For the next 4 months, this will be all I hear about between my husband and boys.  But boys away on hunting trips means more time for Momma to stamp!  So, I'm kicking off this hunting season with the latest Friday Mashup Challenge...A Hunting/Fishing theme creation using Early Espresso, Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi!

I kept things pretty simple, other than the little bit of Chevron Ribbon with the adorable Reindeer Clip...I love those things!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi
Ink ~ Early Espresso
Stamp Set ~ Lovely as a Tree, Tin of Cards
Other Supplies ~ Reindeer Clips, Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Chevron Ribbon

Happy Hunting to everyone who is venturing out into the great outdoors this weekend and Happy Friday to all!

Happy Stamping!

Woodland Birthday

Today's post is brought to you by my hubby's birthday...Happy Birthday hubby!!!
Anyone who knows Paul is well aware that he is a bit of a hunting freak...the man literally dreams about hunting this time of year and gets more excited than a little boy on Christmas morning.  So...it's become kind of a tradition that I make him a hunting related card every year for his birthday.  I was in a bit of a panic this year because I don't have any deer, elk or moose stamps.  What to do, what to do?!!  Then I remember I had just got the adorable Reindeer Paper Clips in my pre-order!  Add the Woodland embossing folder for the background and I now have a hunting related card!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Typeset DSP, Gold Foil
Ink ~ VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Tin of Cards
Other Supplies ~ Lots of Labels Framelits, Reindeer Paper Clips, Woodland Embossing Folder

Today is not only my hubby's birthday, but it is the start of the first 4 day off rotation he has had in MONTHS!  I am taking him and the kiddos away for a long weekend get away to Seattle for a Mariners game.  Looking forward to a great weekend with the family!

Happy Stamping!
