Love this little elephant

Sale-A-Bration is almost over and I'm a little sad we can't stretch it out just a little bit longer.  All of the FREE items that are available this year are so much fun, especially the cute little elephant from the Patterned Occasions set!

The pretty spring colors in the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge got me excited to dig out some of my {hoarded} Floral District DSP. 

 

I stared out using the pattern with just the 3 colors in the challenge, but it wasn't working for me.  So, I pulled out the pattern with the cute flowers on it, which has one extra color.  Shhhh....maybe no one will notice ;)

Sorry about the blurry picture...I am in need of a new camera!  Or maybe I just need to get better at taking pictures with my iPhone ;)  The Baja Breeze elephant is cut out and popped up on top of a Rich Razzleberry elephant, which created a little bit of a shadow.  I also layered a Daffodil Delight flower button on top of the Rich Razzleberry button...super cute, just not easy to see in the picture.  And the cute little flower was punched out of the DSP...perfect!

Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop ~ March 2013

Hello!  Welcome to March's Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop where Spring Has Sprung!  I'm pretty sure many of us haven't seen many signs of Spring yet, but maybe all of these great creations you will see today will help encourage Mother Nature to push Old Man Winter out and let Spring in!

Spring is full of transformations...flowers begin to bloom, days are longer and there always seems to be a ton of new babies coming in to the world :)  My first card is made with the adorable little elephant from the Patterned Occasions Set...I love him!  It's a little difficult to see in the picture, but the ears on these cute little elephants are popped up with a Dimensional and inked up in a couple different shades of blue, with the exception of one, which was stamped in Melon Mambo.

Latte Love for Mojo Monday

Hooray for a Mojo Monday sketch that didn't totally overwhelm me :) I LOVE all of the great sketches they provide each week and all of the creations everyone come up with are always so awesome!  But for a CAS girl, sometimes I'm a little scared to take one on.  When I saw this weeks sketch, I was quick to take the leap on this simple sketch.

Make a Wish Alexis ~ FM93

Happy Friday and Happy Birthday to my niece Alexis! 

It's Friday night...my hubby is at work, big boys are staying the night with Grandma & Grandpa and the little man is sleeping...so that means stamping time for this Momma. YAY!

 The fun challenge this week over at The Friday Mashup gave me some much needed inspiration to create a cute birthday card for my super cute niece, Alexis.  The Mashup Challenge this week is to create a birthday project using brads.  Here's what I came up with...

SAB Sneak Peek

I really should be working on some Christmas stuff, but my big box full of pre-order items from the upcoming Spring Catalog and Sale-a-Bration goodies was calling, make that yelling, my name this morning as I was putting it all away.  I just had to ink up some of these new fabulous stamps!  Sale-a-Bration is coming next month, running from January 22-March 22.  Be watching your mail box for the Spring Catalog and SAB brochure soon!
