I needed a bit of a break from my Bridal Fair and Holiday Bazaar projects, so I decided to find a couple of fun challenges this morning. After a little bit of searching, I was inspired by the CAS sketch over at Pals Paper Arts. I also found a fun little challenge going on over at The Paper Players...to create a CAS project featuring frames. The perfect idea struck me and I got to work!

I recently earned two free stamp sets for reaching my Stampin' Start goals...yay!!! Papaya Collage was one of the sets I got and I finally had the chance to ink it up this morning. Love it! I did a little bit of fussy cutting around the outer edge of the frame, cut the center out and popped it up with some dimensionals to create a bit a shadow box effect. Fun!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Very Vanilla, Real Red, Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP
Ink ~ Early Espresso
Stamp Set ~ Greetings of the Season, Papaya Collage
Other Supplies ~ Finishing Touches Edgelits, Merry Minis Punch Pack, Linen Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals
I love, love, love this DSP...so beautiful! It was fun to create each little ornament with this paper.
Ok, time to get back to my other projects! The Bridal Fair is Saturday and I still have few more things to get done...time is running short!
Happy Stamping!
