Swimmingly Seaside Shore

Happy Tuesday stampin friends!

 

I decided to take a little break from my holiday creating and pulled out some of my other stamps that were collecting dust.  So many stamps and never enough time to use all of them...so sad ;-)

 

Seaside Shore is one of my favorites and I love the coordinating By the Shore DSP.   This fish and the anchor are my favorite stamps in this set!

Watercolor Love

Happy Sunday stampers...I hope you all had a nice weekend and enjoyed your extra hour of sleep :-) 

This weekend was one full of emotions for me.  Last Sunday, members of our fire family lost their beautiful babies at 24 weeks.  A tiny baby boy and a tiny baby girl were taken far too soon from their parents...a devastating loss for their family.

I attended the funeral over the weekend, which was heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time.  It was a beautiful sunny day, which helped lift the spirts of so many.  It was a blessing to see the church filled with so many of the fire department family members.  It is always amazing to see that group pull together in times of need and offer up so much love and support.

There are never enough words to express your feelings in a time like this, but a few simple words go a long way. 

My family delivered dinner to our dear friends tonight and I tucked this card in the bag with their meal.  A very simple card with one simple word...love.

My heart aches for the loss of these beautiful babies and it is so hard to understand why they were taken from this earth, but I pray that everyone can find comfort in knowing they are wrapped in God's arms.

Joy at Christmas

Happy Friday stampers!

 

We made it through the week!!!  I don't know about you, but this week seems to have dragged on.  It seems like we were trick or treating two weeks ago rather than just this Monday.  But maybe it's a good thing time was running slow because before we know it, Christmas is going to be here and we are all going to feel like we are running out of time!

 

And since I know all too well that time is going to be moving even faster over the next few weeks, I'm trying to create as many Christmas cards as I can!  My monthly stamp club is tonight and this is one of the cards that my stampers will be creating.  It's simple but fun!

Blue Marlin Birthday

Happy Tuesday stampin friends!!!  Did you all survive Halloween?  Does anyone else have a bit of a sugar hangover this morning?!?!

Copper Feather Thank You ~ Monday Montage



Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

It has been a soggy, foggy weekend in my parts of the world...yuck!  I am NOT ready for this weather.  We had plans to go to the corn maze and pumpkin patch with some friends, but due to the weather and some kiddos who weren't feeling 100%, we opted to stay at home where we would be warm and dry.  My boys and I spent most of Saturday playing games, watching movies and playing with our new chickens!!!

We got 6 new Silkie chickens yesterday and we are so in love with them!  Not only are they super cute and fluffy, but they are super affectionate and love to be held.  The boys and I spent quite a bit of time loving on these new chicks, naming them and making sure the older ones weren't being too mean.  You will never fully understand the meaning of pecking order until you have chickens ;-)  I'm officially a crazy chicken lady!

Today I'm sharing with you a thank you card I will be sending out to the kind family who gave us these new chickens.
