Control Freaks Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

I'm officially a FREAK...A Control Freak!  I am SO excited to join this super talented group of stampers, especially this month as we are stamping our way through a Winter Wonderland.  You should have just made your way here from the crafty and creative Cindy Elam.  Isn't she amazing?!?!

With Christmas just around the corner, I've been working on some packaging ideas and thought it would be fun to make a cute little gift box and matching card.  I've paired up the adorable Let It Snow DSP with Everything Festive stamp set for the perfect Winter Wonderland creations!
Isn't this little snowman the CUTEST?!?!  Did you know the Snowman Builder Punch coordinates with some of the glittery snowmen and dapper little hats in the Let It Snow DSP?  This is the BEST!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White, Let It Snow DSP, Sparkle Glimmer Paper
Ink ~ Blueberry Bushel, VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Everything Festive
Other Supplies ~ Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder,  Seasonal Layers Dies, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Snowman Builder Punch, Triple Banner Punch, Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle, Whisper White Bakers Twine

What says Winter Wonderland like a little delivery from the North Pole!  How about this Dashing Deer paired up with the frosty print from the Wrapped In Plaid DSP?  Can't you just see this beautiful reindeer leading Santa's sleigh?  Adding just a few Holiday Rhinestones will help light their way!
Supplies Used:

Next up on our hop is the uber talented Tami Hewlett.  I absolutely LOVE her creations!

Winter Wonderland

It is certainly feeling like a Winter Wonderland in my neck of the woods!  We got a little snow last week which has stuck around due to below freezing temps. I'm not a fan of the cold, but the snow sure is pretty and it puts me in a festive mood for the holiday!
It our family tradition to put up our Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving.  It's so much fun to see my boys decorate our tree and share their memories of each ornament they hang.  While they decorate the tree, I decorate our fire place mantle and this year I was inspired by our latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.

These colors are absolutely stunning together and Stampin' Up! was on trend with the Winter Wonderland suite this year!  The DPS was perfect for making a  festive banner to finish up my mantle this year!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP, Gold Foil, Black Glimmer, Whisper White
Ink ~ Basic Black, Gold
Stamp Set ~ Wonderland
Other Supplies ~ Snowflake Elements, Banner Punch, Gold Glitter Ribbon, Gold Cording Trim, Circle Framelits, Linen Thread, Party Pennants Bigz Die (retired)

Here is a little picture of my complete mantle...my apologies for the poor lighting!  We have an old house that has no lights in the ceiling, which makes for a dimly lit house on a cold winter day!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Be sure to play along with us over at HSS...we love to see what you create!

Winter Wonderland ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with, once again, a fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

It seems crazy to be working on Christmas cards when my air conditioning is still kicking on in the middle of the day, but it's only a couple of months away and will sneak up on us just like it always does!  I'm going to soak up every moment of sunshine and warmth because I know the cold weather will be here any day now!

I absolutely love the Winter Wonderland suite in the Holiday Catalog.  I love the colors of the DSP and the antlers in the stamp set are my FAVORITE!

I stared out with a very CAS card, using just a little strip of the pretty gold foil DSP that is included in the Winter Wonderland DSP.  Along with the gold Cording Trim, it really dressed this card up.

I layered up a few different patterns of DSP for this card and added a touch of gold again...black and white and gold...so pretty!

This last card just kind of happened on it's own.  I had scraps of the different designs of DSP on my desk and they were all laying on top of each other as they are on this card, so I just went with it!  My messy crafting has paid off again :-)

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Winter Wonderland DSP
Ink ~ Basic Black, Soft Sky, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Early Espresso
Stamp Set ~ Wonderland
Other Supplies ~ Gold Thread, Snowflake Elements, Gold Cording Trim

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope to be back a bit more this week with some more fun creations.  With my hubby gone on a week long hunting trip, this momma is going to need to sneak in some craft therapy for sure!

Happy Stamping!

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Happy Stamping!
