Hi stampin' friends!
Time has gotten away from me again this week! I've been getting in a little stamping time, but trying to stay on top of blogging hasn't been happening as much. I'll take what little time I get and share when I can :-)
One of my co-workers had to go through a terrible ordeal with her daughter last weekend that has continued on to this week. Her daughter was involved in an accident that resulted in a pretty severe burn on her little back:-( Thankfully this happened while they were out of town near a Children's Hospital and they were able to get her taken care of in a hurry. They still have a long road before she is healed, but she is doing well. Our office wanted to send her a little get well gift and I offered to make a card to send along with it.
I was once again inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches sketch to help me make this cute card for sweet Emma. I hope it cheers her up and makes her day happy!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Smoky Slate, A Little Foxy DSP
Ink ~ Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso
Stamp Sets ~ Foxy Friends, Greatest Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles Framelits, Fox Builder, Subtles Enamel Shapes
I am hoping to sneak in a little bit more stamp time this weekend, especially since I have an extra day off. Our little funny farm is growing again today with the addition of 4 more chickens, so I'll have a little bit of time wrapped up getting them settled. Who would have ever thought I'd turn in to a crazy chicken lady?!?!
Happy Friday and Happy Stamping!
What a cute card! Glad it's going to Emma, and I'm sure she will love it. Don't show it to your new hens -- that cute fox will scare them and you'll never get them settled. :) Always glad when you join us at FMS, Bree!
