Let's Get Seasonal

It's time to get seasonal with some of my Artisan friends!  With the {almost} release of new seasonal/holiday products, we are sharing some of our favorites with you today!  Follow along with us over on Instagram and see all of the seasonal creations we have to share!

Now that the kiddos are back in school and I am back to work, I'm slowly starting to embrace the fact that summer is almost over and fall is coming next.   The beautiful Amber Autumn bundle is brining all the fall vibes. 

Lost Lagoon, Timid Tiger, Peach Pie, Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green are some of my favorite fall colors. They were perfect for these festive pumpkins and gourds! And can we talk about this die cut background?!?  It is stunning!

I changed things up just a bit for the next card, switching out the pumpkins for acorns and added a little Autumn Toile DSP.  And the Irregular Weave ribbon...it's so good!  I see a lot of this in my creative future!

Spooky Halloween Sketch

Welcome to the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge.  You can never go wrong with starting your project with a good sketch!

I decided to flip the sketch and create with the Spooky Halloween bundle.  These little furry friends are too cute to be spooky!  I love the bats in this set of dies and the fence is a fun addition as well!

I colored the not-so-spooky kitty and puppy with Stampin' Blends and added a heat embossed sentiment, along with a few Shimmer Star Foam Stickers.

Happy Friday and welcome to the latest TGIF Challenges Product Challenge featuring the Country Woods DSP.

Inspired by the latest Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, I paired this gorgeous paper up with the Pretty Florals Dies for a pretty farmhouse inspired birthday card. 

 

Anyone else loving the Basic Beige tone on tone flower?  It's so pretty!

Welcome to this month's Around The World on Wednesday Blog Hop!  This month we are CAS(e)ing our Aussie team member Rochelle Laird Smith, who is known for using lots of beautiful layers and making multiple cards with one stamp set.

I was filled with so much inspiration as I scrolled through Rochelle's past creations...so much talent!  I decided to use the Weekend Adventures stamp set to create a His & Her's adventure card.

It's so much fun filling this adorable camping much with the little bouquet of wild flowers.  I partnered the stamped images with layers of Weekend Adventures Two-Tone Cardstock and Weekend Adventures DSP for a more feminine card.  The Pressed Flowers embossing folder seemed quite fitting.

Next up is a more rugged version of the camp mug, complete with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and some Scenic Adventure Trees.  I love tearing the Two-Tone Cardstock to add a bit more texture.

Rainbows & Sunshine

It's all rainbows and sunshine...it's FRIDAY!!  And that means it's time for a new TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge.

I switched the square and hexagon shapes for a rainbow and sunshine.  How cute is this?!?  The Celebration Expressions Memories & More card pack inspired the fun color combo for the rainbow.

Every rainbow needs a little gold, right?  A little gold thread and a few gold Low-Profile Dots were the "golden" touch!

It's time for a fresh and pretty color challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Join along in the fun and share your creativity with us!

I used the Everyday You & Me bundle in the gorgeous shades of Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Blackberry Bliss and just a touch of Old Olive.  Aren't these colors so pretty together?!?

I love this sentiment...the font is so good!  There is just something about the bigger sentiments that always call my name.  We need more of these, right?

Beautiful Gallery of Color

Happy Friday and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!  I'll be 100% honest...I wasn't sure about this color combo at first, but once I started pulling pieces together for this card, my mind was quickly changed. I love these colors together!

I colored the floral pattern of Beautiful Gallery DSP with Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock Stampin' Blends.  I tore the long edge of the paper and added a torn layer of Shy Shamrock for an extra pop of color.

I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder.  Isn't the floral pattern pretty? 

The Sweet Blooms bundle helped to create the perfect sentiment.  I used Basic Beige instead of Basic White for the sentiment...I need to do this more! It's so subtle and pretty.
